Benahavis Bliss

Nestled between golf resorts and the Marbella coastline, this luxury villa is something you’ll remember. This three-storey home is as contemporary as it gets. There’s a fully-equipped gym for morning workouts, a chef's kitchen for special feasts at home (though a private chef can be arranged too), a pristine pool for days sunbathing amongst manicured lawns, and a games room for family ping pong matches. Not only does the home provide unparalleled options for entertainment, but you’ll have a villa manager and concierge team on hand to arrange in-villa massages and local experiences, too. What’s more, this villa is perfectly located for exploring the best of the region's sandy beaches and Puerto Banús' restaurants.

Citrus & Sand

If you’re searching for a place with ample space to relax in the sunshine, look no further than this penthouse apartment with two outdoor areas. The upper terrace is complete with loungers, a seating area, and glimpses of the Alboran Sea. What’s more, guests staying here have access to communal swimming pools, and Saladillo Beach is only a ten-minute drive away. Should you fancy stretching your legs, the village of Cancelada is within walking distance, home to laidback bars and restaurants.

Sunshine Delight

This recently refurbished Andalucian villa has all the ingredients you could want for a relaxing break in the Spanish sunshine. We can't really start with anything other than the swimming pool that takes up most of the garden, which is overlooked by palm trees and surrounded by loungers.

Around the home itself, you'll find a terrace that stretches around the property with a lounge, alfresco dining area and a pretty impressive outdoor kitchen set-up. It's fair to say that you could spend the bulk of your time outside, but that would be being the modern interior a disservice. There are plenty of standout features behind the front door, from the sleek wooden kitchen and spa-standard bathrooms to the crocodile-shaped bench in one of the bedrooms.

And the location's not half bad, either. You can be standing on the golden sands of Playa del Saladillo in around twenty minutes on foot or strolling around the designer boutiques of Puerto Banús in just under the same amount of time in the car.

Summer Kisses

This boldly conceived villa is a modern oasis on the Costa del Sol. Floor to ceiling glass windows zig zag across the living space, bathing it in natural light and framing the view of La Concha mountain. The sleek kitchen is suited to everything from throwing together some tapas, to whipping up lavish dinners. Make use of the pool table in the second living room and get a tournament going, or enjoy a film on the projector on cosy evenings. 

Five of the seven bedrooms have en-suites. The two lavish main bedrooms upstairs lead out onto the vast terrace, which is fitted with exercise equipment, plenty of outdoor sofas, and a gleaming bar. Steps lead up to the top terrace, where there’s an eight person jacuzzi boasting panoramic views of the valley.

In the summer months, start the day with a dip in the crystalline infinity pool, before an alfresco breakfast on the terrace. The villa is in Nueva Andalucia, within 500 metres of two of the Costa Del Sol’s famed golf courses, and 13 kilometres from Marbella’s town centre. Playa Nueva Andalucia is 2 kilometres away and a heavenly place to spend the day. When you arrive back home, head up to the roof terrace and practise your mixology skills at the bar, before firing up the barbecue and enjoying dinner outside as the stars come out.

Futurist Paradise

Boasting some of the best views in Marbella, this luxury villa looks out over the Los Naranjas golf course. With a private pool, outdoor shower and plenty of seating in the sun and shade, this home oozes class and elegance. There's even a cinema room, bar and wine cellar in the basement, so entertainment won't be an issue. You'll find parking space on the driveway and in the garage, and you'll definitely want a car here. It's only a short drive up to Puerto Banus, The Golden Mile, and of course Marbella's fantastic beaches.

The Most Beautiful Place

From the sea view terraces of this exclusive villa, you can see North Africa on a clear day. And in the south of Spain, clear sunny days are plentiful. It's a fifteen-minute drive to the coast for beaches and the glitzy centre of Marbella is twenty-five minutes in the car. This villa has so many luxurious touches that you might just stay put. Palm-fringed gardens are home to a lagoon-shaped infinity pool looking out over the mountains to the sea and there are myriad dining spots and terraces in the shade. While the main lounge inside is a grand affair with its upright piano and open fireplace, the highlight is the lower floor. Down here, there's a Moroccan-style cocktail bar, indoor swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, sauna and a yoga and fitness room. The casual cinema room with day beds just tops it all off.

Flowing Waters

This penthouse apartment caught our eye with its rooftop terrace and mountain views. There is also an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue – perfect for sunset drinks and alfresco dining. Inside, the rooms are well suited to families in search of ease and relaxation. You can also enjoy access to a communal swimming pool and housekeeping can be arranged on request. Beyond this hilltop hideaway, it’s just a ten-minute drive to Puerto Banús, while Marbella is just twenty minutes away. 


Golden Mountains

Situated in Puerto Banús, this fuss-free apartment is ideal for a family of four. The private balcony is just the spot for a morning coffee, albeit a little overlooked by neighbouring homes. But, with the Mediterranean sun warming your skin, you’ll be tempted out to the communal pool in no time. Fitness fanatic? You'll find a gym and paddle tennis nearby. Otherwise, a stroll around the marina in search of Spanish cuisine is a must.

Sun-Kissed Crush

This home is a sun-kissed sanctuary with beautiful views across Atalaya Golf course and the sea – on a clear day you'll see the coast of Africa. Outside, you can experience pure relaxation while lounging by the pool – which can also be heated for an additional fee. There are also four terraces, a cinema room and a home gym here, ensuring plenty of entertainment options for the whole group. Your host can arrange child-friendly amenities and one of the rooms is adapted for guests with reduced mobility, making this a great option for a family gathering. You will need a car to get around the area, but it’s just a short drive to the nearest golf courses while Marbella and Puerto Banús are about ten minutes by car.

This elegant penthouse apartment can be found just outside of Marbella and Puerto Banus, playgrounds of the wealthy. The apartment is part of the Villa Padierna Palace Hotel, so you have your own extremely luxurious space as well as having access to the hotel’s spa and golf course – what more could you ask for?

The penthouse’s views are simply breath-taking, stretching over the lush, manicured grounds to the mountains and sea. The living room’s floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out onto a broad terrace, so the view spills into the interior. We recommend starting your day with an espresso and a pastry on the terrace. Sink into one of the comfy sofas on the deck and flip through your guidebook, revelling in the serene styling of this apartment. 

Perhaps you’ll set off for a day at one of Marbella’s white-sand beaches, or drive to Puerto Banus to admire the yachts in the harbour. Both can be reached in twenty minutes – the shops, dining and vibrant nightlife are all right on your doorstep but you’d never know it from the tranquillity of the apartment. 

Wander through the cypress trees and swaying palms of the grounds. The communal pool is beautiful and spacious, and the countryside views from the sun loungers are exquisite. This is a marvellous getaway destination with everything you need to relax in absolute luxury and style.
