It’s been designed carefully to ensure that its impressive views over the Mediterranean can be admired from every angle. Whether you’re waking up from restful slumbers with the sea breeze washing over you, sipping your morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the rising sun, or enjoying a tapas dinner alfresco at the golden hour, you’ll be drawn to the panoramic views at every chance. 

It’s not just this home’s glass walls, leather furnishings and glossy stone floors that make this home so inviting, it's also its location. Refresh in the resort’s freeform pool, stroll along the pristine sands of Playa De Las Gaviotas, enjoy an authentic dinner along the marina’s seafront or tee off one of the many local golf courses – the options are endless.

With the sun-drenched shoreline of the Costa del Sol on its doorstep, this apartment invites you to step right into the magic of Mediterranean living. 

From the air-conditioned rooms to the cosy furnishings and sea views, the owners have designed this space with your comfort in mind. Enjoy slow mornings on the balcony, follow the fresh sea air down to one of the communal swimming pools or make your way to the gym for an energising workout. 

From here, it’s just a short stroll to the beach where lazy days can be spent on a lounger, embracing the waves and simply enjoying the uplifting spirit of southern Spain. You’ll also find Puerto de la Duquesa within walking distance – perfect for sunset strolls along the marina and golden-hour drinks in one of the local bars. 

Wherever the day takes you, this apartment welcomes you to get creative in the fully-equipped kitchen, and bask in the sweetness of doing nothing but relaxing.   

Casa Dulce

This immaculate apartment just four kilometres from the golden shores of Estepona had us on that vast sea-facing terrace alone. And that was before we'd even clapped eyes on the palm-strewn shared pools and turquoise-blue lagoon at the apartment complex's heart. 

Inside, the apartment is fresh and inviting, with bright pops of colour keeping everything uplifting. And you'll love how light-filled the bedrooms feel, each with its own bathroom for a little extra privacy. 

But it's the dizzying array of shared facilities to rival a five-star hotel that's getting us hot under the collar. Get your mornings off to an adrenaline-fuelled start at the lagoon (100 metres away) for paddle boarding, windsurfing and general splashing about. Back on dry land, kids can try wall climbing with an on-site instructor while you bank a workout in the gym. And when it's time to get back together and relax, the shared swimming pools and hot tubs are ready and waiting.

When thoughts turn to food, you can always zip back upstairs to the apartment for alfresco lunch on that sublime terrace. But if you'd rather not cook, the on-site restaurants overlooking the lagoon are just the ticket. Or head down to Estepona seafront for a sunset meal – there's a chiringuito with a table on the sand waiting just for you. 

Be More Kahlo

Surrounded by pine forest, less than 5 kilometres from the typical Andalusian village of Casares, this villa encourages a family or group of friends to spend quality time together. When you’re in the mood for sand and sea, the Costa del Sol’s beaches are a twenty-minute drive away. Back at home, there’s a private pool in the garden and a roof terrace for sunbathing. The rustic interiors may not be to everyone’s taste, but the views of Morrocco’s coastline clear day more than make up for it.

Andalusian Pine

Located on a resort on the outskirts of Estepona, this apartment lies in a private village with a plethora of communal facilities to make your stay special. Choose from water sports in the lagoon, taking a dip in the communal pool, dining at one of the beach restaurants or unwinding in the shared saunas and Jacuzzis. Even if you're staying indoors, there's space in the garden for sunbathing and in the sunroom for enjoying a home-cooked meal. Although communal facilities are within walking distance, we recommend having a car for visiting Marbella and Estepona's city centre, as well as the nearby golf course.

Heaven on the Hill

This sleek and stylish holiday apartment boasts a private balcony with space for alfresco dining and gorgeous sea views. Purpose-built for rentals, there aren't a lot of soft furnishings here and it's not the most soulful home. But there's a range of communal amenities to keep you entertained whether you're travelling as a family or friends, with two large swimming pools – one indoors so you can swim whatever the weather – and a well-equipped gym. La Rada Beach can be reached on foot, but there's free parking on the premises so you don't have to rely on public transport.

Stylish Getaway

Set over two floors, this seaside escape makes the most of the Costa del Sol’s famed sunshine, with an impressive terrace and a charming balcony running alongside both bedrooms. The interior offers an aesthetic that’s one-part beachy cool, one-part contemporary chic, with a monochrome colour scheme invigorated by pops of vibrance and old-world touches (we particularly love the dramatic rattan lampshade). 

On your pretty flagstone terrace, you can take in views across tropical palms and rooftops, all the way to the bright blue ocean, while the barbecue stands ready to grill up dinner – best served at sunset with a jug of Sangria. Nearby Estepona was made for resort living, so you’ll have plenty to explore both day and night, although with the beach just a few minutes’ walk away, we feel you may end up there each and every day.

Charcoal Sketch

Whether you’re staying as a family or a group of friends, this apartment on the grounds of a golf course is the ideal place to spend quality time together. The private terrace, with views of the Mediterranean Sea, is furnished for outdoor dining. And when you need to cool off, make a beeline for the communal swimming pool. Plus, there’s a children’s area for the little ones to let off some steam. If you’d like to explore the wider area, Arroyo Vaquero Beach and the heart of Estepona are a short car ride away.

The Magic Flame

Taken in and of itself, we'd be quite impressed by this ground-floor apartment in Estepona. The huge windows and glass doors let in ample amounts of Andalusian sunshine, an asset that's only accentuated by the bright colour palette that rarely veers away from whites and neutrals. We've only got kind words for the minimalist kitchen, as well as the similarly chic bedrooms and bathrooms that also cut out unnecessary accoutrements. To top it all off, there's a private garden in which to catch some rays during summer afternoons.

However, what really sets this home apart from others is the incredible communal amenities available throughout the rest of the resort. Across ten acres of landscaped grounds, you'll find everything from a lagoon with its own sandy beach and a pair of restaurants to a sauna, hot tubs and a well-equipped gym.

Although you could just as easily keep yourself entertained without ever having to leave the site, it would be a crying shame given the wealth of attractions to be discovered in the surrounding Costa del Sol. Estepona's town centre and beach are only 4km away, while there's a huge number of golf courses easily reached by car.

It's Going to be a Good Day

Perched beside a turquoise-blue lagoon with the sand beneath your feet, we'd forgive you for thinking you'd landed on Caribbean shores. But this luxurious resort-style apartment complex is closer than you think – set back from the beaches of Estepona in sun-dappled Andalucia.

Set within nine acres of exotic grounds, this newly-built complex has got rest and reset written all over it. Laze away the day bobbing about the freshwater lagoon stretching over a hectare wide (100 metres away) or beside the shared pools. Fancy upping the ante? Try watersports on the lagoon, wall climbing for the kids, a workout in the shared gym, or tee off from one of the eight golf courses nearby.

When tummies rumble, grab a table at one of two on-site restaurants or jump in the car to blaze a trail down to Estepona Beach. The seafront chiringuitos serving the freshest seafood imaginable are an evening well spent.

Back home at this south-facing apartment, everywhere feels fresh and inviting, with immaculate, contemporary interiors. But it's outside on that vast, sea-facing terrace where we think you'll spend most of your time. It's the perfect spot for alfresco morning coffees, champagne sundowners and everything else in between.

Swoon Lagoon

It’s not often you find somewhere with its own lagoon, but when it comes to this resort on the Costa del Sol, that’s just one of the many amenities on offer. Boasting an on-site gym, shared swimming pool, access to the beach, on-site restaurants and children’s area – not to mention, sweeping views of the Andalusian mountains – this place has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. 

You’ll have your own apartment and garden to yourself here, meaning there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor space for kicking back and relaxing with your fellow guests. Rustle up a tapas feast in the fully equipped kitchen then head outside and dine alfresco as you gaze out at the glistening sea on the horizon. Or, if waterside dining’s more your thing, why not get dressed up and head out for an evening meal by the lagoon? After all, that view’s not going to admire itself. 

We can’t imagine getting bored here but if you fancy a change of scenery, there’s plenty to keep you busy nearby. Practise your swing at Estepona Golf, hike through the Sierra Crestellina Natural Area, or change into your swimming trunks and go for a swim at Playa de Guadalobón. This place has something for everyone.

Water Song

Located on the iconic Costa del Sol coastline, you’ll find yourself sipping sangria in the plush outdoor lounge, soaking up the Mediterranean vistas from your terrace, and waking up from your soft sheets with the sunshine streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows of your neutral-hued bedroom. 

Everything you might need for a relaxing stay is right at your fingertips. The modern kitchen is a chef’s delight and the inviting lounge, complete with plush furnishings and coastal tones, is perfect for sociable evenings. Outdoors, there’s an outdoor sofa for you to stretch out on with your holiday read and an alfresco dining set for tapas dinners. What’s more, you’ll have access to the resort’s sparkling pool – it’s the perfect place to soak up the rays and sip an icy glass of sangria. 

Golfers will be pleased to learn that the fairways of Dona Julia Golf Club are a short walk away. When you’re seeking sand, Playa Chica and Playa Ancha are a few minutes away by car – grab your towel and enjoy a paddle in the clear waters of the Mediterranean.
