Found in a resort with a tropical vibe, this apartment caught our eye thanks to the fantastic surroundings. The home itself is simple but has everything you need for an extended stay – the terrace stood out to us in particular as a spot to get some privacy while still enjoying the sun. The large communal pools will be a real hit with the kids, and golf enthusiasts will be pleased to know there are two courses nearby. And if you want to hit the coast, Puerto Banús is just a short drive.

It's fair to say that you could spend the bulk of your time outside, but that would be being the modern interior a disservice. There are plenty of standout features behind the front door, from the sleek wooden kitchen and spa-standard bathrooms to the crocodile-shaped bench in one of the bedrooms.

And the location's not half bad, either. You can be standing on the golden sands of Playa del Saladillo in around twenty minutes on foot or strolling around the designer boutiques of Puerto Banús in just under the same amount of time in the car.
