Situated just off the famous Gran Vía, this modern pad is perfectly suited for those looking to be in the heart of Madrid. Step off your doorstep and you’ll find designer stores, theatres, museums and the Puerta del Sol – we mean it, you couldn’t be better placed. 

What’s more, your apartment is a calming presence in the middle of this bustling city. Inside, you'll find a bright and stylish living area – from the Persian rugs, chic furnishings, vibrant artwork and curated houseplants. Drop off your bags and make yourself comfortable on the modular sofa, or head for a siesta in the welcoming double bedroom, equipped with a dedicated desk area.

When you’re not out dining in the city’s eateries, whip up tasty tapas dishes in the handy kitchen, then serve them up around the stylish dining table with a glass of Spanish wine. Better still, head out onto your private balcony and watch the lively streets below over a tipple, before setting off for an evening out. 

Heart of Town

Keen to be in the hustle and bustle? This apartment, just a ten-minute stroll from Gran Vía, may be a great choice. It's easy to get to all the landmarks on foot or by metro, and there are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. Unsurprisingly it can get a tad noisy – but that's part of the city experience. We love the bright living area, and the two snug bedrooms channel Spanish sunshine with their yellow paint. Size-wise, it's rather compact but still comfortable – just note that it's on the second floor and lacks a lift.

Amber Thistle

Nestled in the heart of Madrid, this stylish apartment couldn't be better placed for some fun in the city. The interiors boast plush furnishings, exposed brick and lots of natural sunlight, whilst outside you'll find a small but cosy terrace. Start the day with a home-cooked breakfast thanks to the contemporary kitchen, then tuck in alfresco with a cup of coffee before heading out to explore.

Step out of the front door and you'll be on the bustling streets of Madrid, within an easy distance of the area's main attractions. Soak up the city's cutting-edge culture with a tour of the Prado Museum, take a stroll around El Retiro Park and sample some of Spain's best restaurants right on your doorstep.

City Sunlight

While not overly flashy, Molten Bronze's simplicity is refreshing. The interior is clean, with a few things that really standout, like the kitchen splashback, which is not something we get to highlight very often. For the most part, the furniture and decorations come from Maison du Monde, so it’s solid and stylish, if not unique. The location won’t be for everyone – it’s on a busy street in Malasaña, so it isn’t very peaceful, but there’s loads to do and you won’t get bored.


Molten Bronze

When you see as many flats as we do, you learn very quickly to tell which homes have been done up for convenience, and which are a labour of love. Toquilla clearly falls into the latter category. It’s been designed as a whole, with thought and attention put into the schemes, as well as the materials. We particularly liked the concrete pillars and the glass walls, neither of which are especially common in Madrid. The only real complaint we have is the fake plants – They’re understandable for the convenience, but really, most places would be better off without anything.


Toquilla

Twenty minutes on foot from Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and El Retiro Park, this apartment is well-placed to explore. Many shops, restaurants, and metro stations are nearby, as well as some of Madrid's most famous markets. When you're not sightseeing, this central home is practical and comfortable. We love the exposed brick and stone walls, though it does mean it's a little dark. The kitchen is the ideal size to rustle up lighter fare, but we suspect you'd prefer dining out. 

Ladrillo

Set within the heart of Madrid, this apartment is an ideal base for those looking to drop off their suitcases and head out to explore. It's a studio, so space is limited. We think it's best for couples or solo travellers, though a sofa bed could sleep an additional guest if needed. Locally, indulge in some tasty tapas, soak up some culture at the Prado Museum, or head to Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol for a true taste of Madrid. 

Sunflower's Embrace

This cosy, stylish apartment is a superb base for two in Madrid. It’s in the popular Delicias neighbourhood, right in the heart of Madrid. You need only walk ten minutes to reach Plaza Major and twelve minutes to Puerta del Sol. You can also easily reach the metro, so seeing further-afield sights is as easy as can be. This well-connected neighbourhood is full of bars, shops and restaurants, too, making it a convenient base for your stay – though you might want to pack earplugs. 

Central Bliss

Seeking a stylish base in Madrid? This apartment is just the ticket. You'll find it near Chamberí, only a short walk from the metro connecting you to the best of the city. From shopping on Gran Vía to dining in nearby restaurants, there is plenty to see and do here. Neither the kitchen nor some of the bedrooms are the biggest, but it has all the essentials for a hassle-free stay. Just note that though there's space for five, we think it's a better fit for four.

Chamberí Ochre

Located in Goya, known for its boutique shops and chic nightclubs, you’ll be at the heart of the city here. Many of Madrid’s must-sees are within walking distance – including picturesque El Retiro Park – and there’s a metro station nearby for easy access to those that aren’t. More stylish than your average city pad, the home boasts a comfortable living room (this is the only room that has air conditioning), a desk for remote working, and a bigger-than-average kitchen – perfect for rustling up a paella when you’re not eating out at one of the nearby restaurants. 

Goya's Glory

Nestled in the heart of Madrid – within walking distance of the Plaza de España – this gorgeous, apartment is the perfect setting for your next business trip, family getaway, or couple’s retreat to Spain’s historic capital. We love the industrial feel of the interior here, particularly the exposed brickwork, which blends seamlessly with the leather seating and mahogany drinks cabinet in the stylish sitting room. Kick back and relax under the lounge’s beamed ceiling or step outside and gaze out at the city’s rooftops from the comfort of your private terrace, your camera in one hand and a glass of Rioja in the other. 

If you’re here to explore, you’ll be pleased to discover you’re within striking distance of a whole host of attractions here. Take a tour of the Royal Palace of Madrid, go boating at El Retiro Park, or indulge in a spot of people-watching at Plaza Mayor. However you spend your time here, you’ll love coming home to your gorgeous, fifth-floor apartment, where you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Regal Vistas

This apartment is located in the sought-after Salamanca neighbourhood, known for its designer shopping, fine-dining restaurants, and nightlife. For culture, there’s the Lázaro Galdiano Museum, a short walk away, while the National Archaeological Museum is also within walking distance. This stylish home is set over two floors and has an open-plan living area ideal for entertaining. We think this home is perfect for a group of friends or a family looking for a comfortable place to stay in vibrant Madrid.
