Stepping inside, you’ll find a bright, minimalist interior that’ll suit any preference. Natural light billows through the patio doors, inviting you to enjoy your morning coffee from the Juliet balcony, watching daily life resume in the streets below. And when you return home after a day of exploring Madrid, enjoy a few glasses of wine and a game of cards around the dining table before heading out to one of Lavapiés’ restaurants.

Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, the central location will certainly come in handy. If you are here for work, the city’s business area is within easy reach – simply hop on the metro to make your way there. But if you want to stay closer to home, you’ll find much to explore. The Salamanca Dream

Located in one of Madrid's most charming neighbourhoods, the Barrio de las Letras –  step outside and you'll discover terrific restaurants, trendy bars, and little boutiques. It is noisy, but you're in the heart of the action here. Wander over to El Retiro Park, perfect for getting away from the city with a picnic in the park, and a stroll around the art in the 19th Century Crystal Palace. Chueca, famous for its active nightlife and wonderful vintage tapas bars, is a great place to experience Spanish nightlife. Most importantly, before hitting the bars, seek out a quaint restaurant for delightful tapas. This is all achievable due to the transport links that you can easily tour the entire city with.

From the open-plan living area to the breakfast bar, ideal for cooking up some morning delights. Light colours prevail with a splash of colour, adding elegance to the design and unique furnishings. The bedrooms are spacious and cheerful, thanks to large windows that let in plenty of natural light. It sits in the affluent neighbourhood of Madrazo, tucked away on a side street and just a five-minute stroll from the glitzy Gran Vía. Perched up high on the fourth floor and boasting a private rooftop terrace, this chic urban oasis provides the perfect escape.

Before you can even step through the door, this home's elegant facade and majestic marble entryway will sweep you off your feet. The interior is just as impressive. Exquisitely renovated, it's brimming with contemporary comforts while maintaining timeless original features, including high ceilings and large windows, ushering in floods of sunlight. We especially love the chic open-plan living space, where floor-to-ceiling French doors reveal four street-facing balconies – a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Though, let's not forget the real showstopper – the rooftop terrace. Catch some rays here between adventures and, in the evenings, enjoy a glass of wine on the plush sofas as the sun sinks below the terracotta-tiled rooftops.

You’ll want to kick off your shoes straight away and lounge on the plush sofa which invites you to spend long evenings of wine and conversation with your loved ones. 

You’ll be able to share delicious meals with your whole party at the dining table and the well-equipped kitchen will make rustling them up a work of moments. There’s also a private internal patio, with lovely plants, which offers streams of gently filtered daylight to flood the apartment. 

Factor in the luxurious bedrooms and sparkling modern bathroom and you’ve got all you need for a perfectly restful urban stay. Outside your front door, you’ll find yourself in a prime spot from which to explore, with world-famous museums, iconic landmarks and excellent restaurants and bars all on your doorstep. 

Wallpaper Dreams 

You’ll find this Spanish pad in the Recoletos neighbourhood in Madrid, making it an ideal base for leisure and business travellers alike. Comfortable for four people, you can squeeze in an extra guest as long as they don’t mind sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. Locally, if you’re not wanting to cook, you’ll find a selection of eateries lining the streets below, and El Retiro Park on your doorstep when you fancy a fresh air stroll. Keen to explore more of the city? The nearby metro station, Colón, is ready and waiting to whisk you away. 

Madrid on My Mind

This apartment is within walking distance of an array of attractions, such as Parque Madrid Rio, Casa de Campo, the Royal Palace and La Almudena Cathedral. Of course, there are plenty of dining options to discover in the area, too. The apartment has a desk if you need to catch up on emails and a well-equipped kitchen for making some tapas. We have to say, we love the main bedroom with its dressing room and en-suite. This home is a great choice whether you’re here for leisure or work.

Metropolitan Magic

With a fantastic address, just off the Paseo de la Castellana, this apartment has a wealth of attractions nearby. The upmarket districts of Salamanca, Chamberi and Justicia are all close, so you'll have plenty of fine restaurants, chic boutiques and art galleries to enjoy. With one of Madrid's main avenues on your doorstep, the slight downside is you will hear some street noise here, but it's easily fixed with some earplugs if you're a light sleeper. We have to say, we love the views over Plaza Villa de París from this home. The kitchen is well-equipped, so you can cook some homemade meals or let your host arrange a private chef to create some of your favourite tapas dishes.

Plaza París Haven

While this home isn't in the heart of Madrid, it's under a five-minute stroll to the Usera Metro station. From there, it's a twenty-minute ride into the city centre, where you'll find attractions such as historic Puerta del Sol. So, that's the area covered – what about the apartment itself? Well, we'd say the open-plan living area doesn't have much of a homely feel. But, saying that, the bedrooms make up for this with their vibrant wallpaper. The kitchen is a bit compact, too, but it has everything you need to create some tasty tapas.

Modern Melody

Standing proudly in the Salamanca district, this stylish apartment is only a stone’s throw away from the luxury retailers lining the Golden Mile. When it comes to wining and dining, there's truly no better place to stay in the city. Tootle along these 19th-century boulevards and join the locals at the gourmet food market of Platea Madrid. Or, why don't you spend a cultural day perusing the National Archaeological Museum?

Built in 1907, this Art Nouveau gem transcends time with its characterful features. Wake up beneath high ceilings and plan your daily itinerary over a Spanish breakfast of churros. After some sightseeing, perhaps you'd like to slow down in the communal sauna or keep fit in the on-site gym. Our favourite thing about this home has got to be its bay-windowed sunroom, a divine spot to sip your afternoon coffee and flick through a local newspaper. Just imagine watching a sunset over the cityscape with your dog on your lap.

Modern Nouveau

Relax in El Retiro Park with its pretty boating lake and fountains (two to three minutes on foot) when you stay at this modern apartment in one of the most exclusive areas of Madrid. Prado Museum is the same walking distance if you fancy a spot of culture, while Paseo de Recoletos, with its impressive trees and sculptures, as well as historic cafes, is fifteen minutes on foot.

After all that exploring, whip up a fresh glass of orange juice with the juicer in the kitchen and have a rest on your private balcony. We love this space with its verdant topiaries and views over the district – it's perfect for an alfresco lunch or dinner. Inside, large windows allow light to flood in. This place has plenty of mod cons, such as electric closing windows and chromotherapy showers. We’d say this home is ideal for business professionals, a family or a group of friends.
