This apartment is perfect for a small family in town to sightsee. After all, you'll find Puerta del Sol, the buzzing Gran Vía, and many more of Madrid's landmarks within walking distance – not to mention transport links and a slew of fabulous eateries. While the apartment isn't the most exciting in our collection, we love the wooden beams and Juliet balconies. Although there's nowhere to sit, they add a quintessentially-Spanish touch to the otherwise modern design. The bedrooms are connected with pocket doors, and earplugs are a must if you're a light sleeper – this is in the heart of the city, so street noise is a given.

Viva Vía

Situated in Madrid's Malasaña area, this studio apartment is great for work visits or a weekend break in the city. The sofa can be converted into a bed suitable for one adult or two children, making it ideal for short family trips or friends travelling together. The kitchen has no oven, but fear not – there are plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby for all your cravings. And while you can expect to hear some outside noise here, we think the convenience of the location makes up for it. You'll find public transport within easy reach for getting to some of Madrid's famous hotspots, from the Plaza Mayor to the historic Dos de Mayo square.

A Little Playground

Found in the heart of Madrid, only minutes away from the Royal Palace, the iconic Plaza Mayor, and the Catedral de la Almudena, this home charms with a maximalist approach. Expect gallery walls, a bold colour palette, and an enticing blend of old and new. 

The sleek kitchen might be compact, but with enough space to cobble a light breakfast together. Enjoy it at the striking marble dining table before setting off for a day out in the city. Explore the vibrance of the city – a trait it happily shares with the home – stopping off at cafes and restaurants for lunch when not appreciating the art at a gallery or jumping on public transport to get to another landmark. 

Return to the cosy sofa and fireplace for comfort after a day out, or retreat to your bedroom, where you can get comfortable with a cup of coffee and a good book. However, with the living space perfectly set up for socialising, why not pour a glass of wine, light the fire and break out the board games, chatting late into the morning hours?


The Maximalist

Surrounded by rich Spanish culture, follow the tree-lined avenue to your sleek home in the heart of Madrid’s iconic Malasaña neighbourhood, where inspiration blends from the past and present. The apartment features vintage film posters, retro-style refrigerators within a modern kitchen, and plenty of space to relax. Sip coffee from your balcony as you decide where the day will take you. Each cobblestone street nearby offers a quaint boutique, authentic restaurant, or historic gem to discover. Plaza del Dos de Mayo and the Museo del Romanticismo are right around the corner. Café Comercial is our favorite spot for late-night tapas. And the sweet smell of churros is never too far away. Your timeless Madrid experience begins here.

Fiesta y Siesta

This apartment lies in Madrid's Malasaña neighbourhood, within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. You might hear some outside noise thanks to the central location, but being on the top floor means you'll get some lovely city views. We think it's a great choice if you're travelling with friends or for work, though the low ceilings in certain areas do mean it may not be as suitable for taller guests. Both beds are up on mezzanine levels and are accessed via stairs that don't have railings, but the sofa folds out to accommodate an extra two guests on the ground level.

Lively Madrid Retreat

Simple and practical, this home may not have much in the way of entertainment or flashy amenities, but it offers a great location from which to explore Madrid’s sights. A short walk from the Royal Palace of Madrid and within easy reach of Plaza Mayor and Gran Vía, it’s a central, functional base for those looking to spend most of their time venturing about the city. When you are at home, however, you’ll find a cheerful feature wall in the open-plan living area and a handy dining nook for when you’re not out sampling the local tapas bars. And while the main bedroom is a little cramped, the home has the benefit of two bathrooms – certain to speed up any morning ahead of a busy itinerary. 


Botón De Oro

Nestled in the heart of Madrid’s vibrant Chueca neighbourhood, you’ll find many of the city’s cultural hotspots within easy reach of this apartment. Even on days you’d prefer to take transit, Chueca and Noviciado metro stations are a stone’s throw away. You’ll need to climb the stairs to this first-floor pad, but on arrival, you’ll find a balcony and an open-plan space to unwind after a day of gallery hopping. Keep in mind, that two people will be sleeping on the sofa bed if you’re visiting as a group of eight. 

Charmed in Chueca

Modern and minimal, this duplex apartment is the perfect Madrid home-from-home. With a large open-plan living area and a little rooftop terrace, it's a great pad to unwind in after a day of sightseeing. The dining space is a little compact for dinners at home, though we know Madrid’s roster of restaurants is likely to beckon you out anyway. And while two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed, it’s a handy option for larger groups. Location-wise, Gran Vía, Plaza Mayor, Museo del Prado and Plaza de España are all a short walk away.

Madrileño Muse

This convenient apartment is in the popular Malasaña neighbourhood, one of Madrid’s most alternative areas. From here, you’re close to shops and restaurants, and most of the city’s tourist hotspots are ten minutes away, including Plaza de Espana. When you need to give your feet a break, hop on the metro at Tribunal. Two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living space, and blinds can be used to create more privacy between the sleeping areas. 

The Lime Studio

As far as studio apartments go, this one ticks a lot of boxes. Bright, practical and cleverly designed with a glass divider between the living and sleeping areas, there’s a lot to like about this pocket-sized space. While the practical, contemporary decor may not be the most inspiring, it’s a cheerful base to rest and regroup between sightseeing adventures. Speaking of which, you’re spoilt for choice as far as exploring goes from this central spot, with Gran Vía a five-minute walk away and Chueca’s tapas bars, vibrant nightlife and buzzing markets ten minutes away on foot.

Plaza de la Luz

Nestled among some of Madrid's most iconic streets, this quirky townhouse is the perfect base from which to explore the Spanish capital. Spread across three levels with spiral staircases and plenty of little luxuries, you'll have your pick of cosy corners to relax in.

Start the day with a home-cooked breakfast in the contemporary kitchen, which is fully equipped for whipping up some culinary delights, meaning foodies are bound to feel right at home here. The wooden dining table can comfortably fit the whole family around it, meaning you can share meals together and discuss plans for the day ahead.

Speaking of which, you'll never be bored here, thanks to close proximity to many of Madrid's main attractions. This home is located in Malasaña, considered to be one of the city's chicest neighbourhoods, thanks to its hip cafes, street art and cultural hotspots. Grab a coffee from one of the trendy cafes and walk to the Museo de Historia de Madrid, which is right in the centre of the neighbourhood. After soaking up some history, browse the nearby shops or stop for a bite to eat at one of the city’s many barrios.

After a long day of exploring, the luxurious double shower is place to unwind and get ready for a night out in Madrid, followed by a glass of wine on the private terrace.
