Sitting in a prime position within Marbella's famed Golf Valley, this is one of those A-list homes that boasts not only impeccable style but also a huge range of amenities that will make your stay completely unforgettable.

Given the copious amounts of sunshine that the region enjoys, it makes sense to start outside and what better way to pass summer afternoons than by paddling in the long swimming pool sitting in the middle of manicured lawns? There are plenty of terraces on which to dry off after a dip, as well as a rooftop space from which to admire the natural majesty of surrounding Nueva Andalucia.

There's just as much to like behind the home's white facade. The gym and yoga room will appeal to those that like to start the day with a bit of a workout, while there's also a sauna in which to tend to sore muscles afterwards. In the main house's living room, the contemporary fireplace is both striking to look at and wonderfully cosy once the sun goes down. We've got similarly kind words for the super-sleek kitchen and bathrooms, plus the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that are nothing but generous when it comes to natural light.

This being Golf Valley, it won't be a surprise to learn that there are more than a few courses in the local area, but don't fret if you're not a fan of the sport – the beach town of Puerto Banus is mere minutes away in the car, while both Estepona and Marbella lie nearby, too.

Surrounded by peaceful palm-strewn communal gardens and a lagoon-style shared swimming pool, you'd hardly believe this apartment complex was just a stroll away from Nueva Andalucía's bustling restaurants and shops and a short drive from glitzy Puerto Banus. We're into the home's fresh, modern interiors, and the private terrace with a barbecue is a nice touch for alfresco evening meals. It's worth noting the cosy fourth bedroom with a single bed is pocket-sized, but it could work great as a child's bedroom.

This boldly conceived villa is a modern oasis on the Costa del Sol. Floor to ceiling glass windows zig zag across the living space, bathing it in natural light and framing the view of La Concha mountain. The sleek kitchen is suited to everything from throwing together some tapas, to whipping up lavish dinners. Make use of the pool table in the second living room and get a tournament going, or enjoy a film on the projector on cosy evenings. 

Five of the seven bedrooms have en-suites. The two lavish main bedrooms upstairs lead out onto the vast terrace, which is fitted with exercise equipment, plenty of outdoor sofas, and a gleaming bar. Steps lead up to the top terrace, where there’s an eight person jacuzzi boasting panoramic views of the valley.

In the summer months, start the day with a dip in the crystalline infinity pool, before an alfresco breakfast on the terrace. The villa is in Nueva Andalucia, within 500 metres of two of the Costa Del Sol’s famed golf courses, and 13 kilometres from Marbella’s town centre. Playa Nueva Andalucia is 2 kilometres away and a heavenly place to spend the day. When you arrive back home, head up to the roof terrace and practise your mixology skills at the bar, before firing up the barbecue and enjoying dinner outside as the stars come out.

But if you'd rather have the privacy of your own space, there are private balconies and a terrace with a bird's eye view of Puerto Banus to relax on back at the penthouse.

There’s a lot to love about this contemporary villa. Nestled in a tropical garden, you’ll find a private heated swimming pool, a terrace and a barbecue – making it easy to enjoy the magic of outdoor living. The rooms are well-equipped for families with space to stretch out and socialise. Housekeeping can be arranged on request along with catering. Plus, there is plenty to explore in the surroundings with restaurants and bars within walking distance. It’s also possible to walk to Puerto Banús and the nearest beach. 

Beauty of the Present

This apartment in Puerto Banús caught our eye thanks to its central location and ample sunlight. With its high vantage point on the 5th floor, you can look out across mountains, sea, and the port – though we were disappointed the terrace view is largely blocked by a neighbouring building. That said, you're so close to the sea – just 50 m – we suspect you'll spend more time experiencing it up close. Location is everything here, with shops, eateries, bars and more within easy reach.

Just a fifteen-minute walk from the pretty beach and bustling marina of Puerto Banus, this striking home is cool, comfortable and offers plenty of space for a family or a group of friends. There's even some added flexibility thanks to a self-contained one-bedroom apartment on the lower ground floor – perfect if some of your group feel like having a bit more independence. 

Here, the name of the game is sunshine and relaxation, and where better to let your day-to-day worries melt away than in the private pool. There are plenty of sun lounges to keep everyone happy, a flat lawn for the kids to play on and a lovely, shady covered terrace for relaxing with drinks or dinner prepared on the barbecue. 

But our favourite features have to be the ornate domed ceilings of the entrance hall and the bathroom. Giving some real charm and character to a modern, stylish home, they're quite an impressive sight – especially the one over the bathtub.

This home is the lap of luxury indeed, in the yacht-filled town of Puerto Banus where a sweep of sandy beach awaits, just a two-minute walk away. It’s the details that set this villa apart from the rest – the wine cooler for those bottles of bubbly, the jetted Jacuzzi tub surrounded by glass in the main bedroom’s ensuite, and a private sauna to really unwind. The swimming pool is heated, so you can enjoy a swim year-round and there’s a big Weber grill for barbecues by the poolside.

Inside, it’s impressive. Glass doors are automated, and can fold back to blend the huge living area with the terrace outside. Gallery-white walls let the quirky lighting fixtures above the dining table and plush velvet chairs speak for themselves. Yet, there’s something study-like about the main lounge with its wall of shelves showing off all manner of object d’art. The kitchen, with its long, marble-style bar, wouldn’t look out of place in a 1960’s entertainer’s LA pad. Then there are the bedrooms which embrace the sunny climes with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors.

This magnificent villa is nestled right in the heart of Nueva Andalucia's Golf Valley, right near some of Marbella's top golf courses. Set over three levels and oozing luxury, you'll have a private pool with sun loungers and a barbecue for alfresco dining, and more than enough space for everyone to stretch their legs. Start your morning on the balcony from the master suite, looking over the stunning mountain views with your morning coffee, before heading down to the study to get some remote work done and be productive before you while away the hours relaxing by the pool – heated at your request – or heading out to experience some fantastic local restaurants and amenities.

This home is perfect for golf lovers, but that's not the only thing it's perfect for. You'll be just a short drive away from Playa Nueva Andalucia, where you can enjoy the golden sands of the beach and the calm waters of the sea. Or head over to Puerto Banus, with its luxury boutiques and chic waterfront restaurants – you're sure to find something that tickles your taste buds before you head home to enjoy drinks at your private bar as the sun sets. It's easy to make your days perfect from this home, which wraps comfort and luxury into one beautiful, scenic package for the whole family.

Location-wise, you can dine and shop along the Puerto Banus marina or spend a beach day on Playa Nueva Andalucía – they’re walkable, though we suggest driving to maximise sunbathing time.

Just a stone's throw from the iconic Puerto Banus, this villa couldn't be better placed for discovering the luxury yachts, delicious restaurants and stylish boutiques of Marbella's most famous marina. Boasting a pretty patio with plenty of comfy spots to sit and enjoy a coffee, begin your days with an alfresco brunch followed by an invigorating swim in the private pool. When you're ready to explore, you've got sandy Mediterranean beaches, the Sierra Blanca Mountains and the whitewashed Old Town within an easy distance.

However you choose to spend your days, total relaxation awaits when you come home. Cook an alfresco feast on the barbecue, then head up to the roof deck to unwind in the hot tub. The outdoor sofa is the perfect place to watch the sun disappear over the mountainous landscape with a glass of wine. For a cosy night, make some popcorn and watch a movie in the home cinema room and snuggle up with a blanket.

This stylish, modern home is a 15-minute drive from the heart of Marbella, and just over a kilometre from the beach. In a sleek, whitewashed apartment complex, this home has use of a shared pool and a private terrace and balcony. Decorated with an eye for design, this home is all about clean, sharp lines – there’s a comfortable L-shaped sofa for cosy nights in, while the small but perfectly formed kitchen is the perfect place to cook up some breakfast before heading down to the pool or out to the beach. With views of the surrounding mountains, the terrace features a shady wooden pergola and will surely beckon come sunset for a drink or two. Away from the apartment, you’ll want to head to the shore for long days by the beach, or into Marbella to experience city life.

A gorgeous open-plan interior contains plenty of luxurious touches to tempt you inside and is a delightful space to relax, hidden away from the southern Spanish sun. However, the lower-ground level is a veritable playground, with its indoor pool, well-equipped gym, snooker table and bar, wine cellar, hammam and sauna. Set within a smart apartment complex, there are three shared swimming pools and two children’s pools to beat the Spanish heat. Or head down to Puerto Banus’ glamourous sandy shores for a dip in the sea (within walking distance). It’s worth noting one of the bedrooms is separated from the living space by sliding glass doors and a curtain. While not ideal for some, the direct balcony access is a bonus.

Among sandy beaches and close to the famous yacht-lined marina, this charming villa provides a beautiful base from which to discover the iconic sights of Marbella. Found in a resort with a tropical vibe, this apartment caught our eye thanks to the fantastic surroundings. The home itself is simple but has everything you need for an extended stay – the terrace stood out to us in particular as a spot to get some privacy while still enjoying the sun. The large communal pools will be a real hit with the kids, and golf enthusiasts will be pleased to know there are two courses nearby. And if you want to hit the coast, Puerto Banús is just a short drive.

Or tee off at any one of the local golf resorts, which lie a meagre 5-minute drive from home. We highly recommend trying the local tapas, which are typically rich in flavours and quality, and typically include dishes such as croquetas, boquerones, pulpo, patatas bravas, and pimiento del piquillo.
