Sitting in a prime position within Marbella's famed Golf Valley, this is one of those A-list homes that boasts not only impeccable style but also a huge range of amenities that will make your stay completely unforgettable.

Given the copious amounts of sunshine that the region enjoys, it makes sense to start outside and what better way to pass summer afternoons than by paddling in the long swimming pool sitting in the middle of manicured lawns? There are plenty of terraces on which to dry off after a dip, as well as a rooftop space from which to admire the natural majesty of surrounding Nueva Andalucia.

There's just as much to like behind the home's white facade. The gym and yoga room will appeal to those that like to start the day with a bit of a workout, while there's also a sauna in which to tend to sore muscles afterwards. In the main house's living room, the contemporary fireplace is both striking to look at and wonderfully cosy once the sun goes down. We've got similarly kind words for the super-sleek kitchen and bathrooms, plus the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that are nothing but generous when it comes to natural light.

Make use of the pool table in the second living room and get a tournament going, or enjoy a film on the projector on cosy evenings. 

Five of the seven bedrooms have en-suites. The two lavish main bedrooms upstairs lead out onto the vast terrace, which is fitted with exercise equipment, plenty of outdoor sofas, and a gleaming bar. Steps lead up to the top terrace, where there’s an eight person jacuzzi boasting panoramic views of the valley.

In the summer months, start the day with a dip in the crystalline infinity pool, before an alfresco breakfast on the terrace. The villa is in Nueva Andalucia, within 500 metres of two of the Costa Del Sol’s famed golf courses, and 13 kilometres from Marbella’s town centre. Playa Nueva Andalucia is 2 kilometres away and a heavenly place to spend the day. When you arrive back home, head up to the roof terrace and practise your mixology skills at the bar, before firing up the barbecue and enjoying dinner outside as the stars come out.

But if you'd rather have the privacy of your own space, there are private balconies and a terrace with a bird's eye view of Puerto Banus to relax on back at the penthouse.

Just a fifteen-minute walk from the pretty beach and bustling marina of Puerto Banus, this striking home is cool, comfortable and offers plenty of space for a family or a group of friends. Here, the name of the game is sunshine and relaxation, and where better to let your day-to-day worries melt away than in the private pool. There are plenty of sun lounges to keep everyone happy, a flat lawn for the kids to play on and a lovely, shady covered terrace for relaxing with drinks or dinner prepared on the barbecue. 

But our favourite features have to be the ornate domed ceilings of the entrance hall and the bathroom. Giving some real charm and character to a modern, stylish home, they're quite an impressive sight – especially the one over the bathtub.

Surrounded by peaceful palm-strewn communal gardens and a lagoon-style shared swimming pool, you'd hardly believe this apartment complex was just a stroll away from Nueva Andalucía's bustling restaurants and shops and a short drive from glitzy Puerto Banus. We're into the home's fresh, modern interiors, and the private terrace with a barbecue is a nice touch for alfresco evening meals. It's worth noting the cosy fourth bedroom with a single bed is pocket-sized, but it could work great as a child's bedroom.

This luxurious villa is situated just a short drive from both Marbella and Puerto Banus, and for golf lovers, the exclusive Las Brisas golf course is just next door. A perfect base for families, the home features a large swimming pool, which can be heated upon request – with mountain views and lush nature surrounding it, this is a haven of tranquillity. We particularly love all the outdoor areas, with plenty of space for relaxing and dining alfresco. The interior is just as impressive, with a private gym and a games room completing the package. There are quite a few steps to climb here, both indoors and outside, so children will need to be supervised at all times.

Situated on the outskirts of Marbella’s Puerto Banús, this is the perfect place to come home to after a day of rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous. All four floors are accessible via an internal lift, including the roof terrace which boasts gorgeous views of La Concha and the Mediterranean Sea. Even better, this home comes equipped with a private pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi, as well as a dedicated home cinema for relaxing evenings in. Safe to say, when it comes to amenities, this place ticks all our boxes.

The Shimmer

This apartment in Puerto Banús caught our eye thanks to its central location and ample sunlight. With its high vantage point on the 5th floor, you can look out across mountains, sea, and the port – though we were disappointed the terrace view is largely blocked by a neighbouring building. That said, you're so close to the sea – just 50 m – we suspect you'll spend more time experiencing it up close. Location is everything here, with shops, eateries, bars and more within easy reach.

The Beachway

This home is the lap of luxury indeed, in the yacht-filled town of Puerto Banus where a sweep of sandy beach awaits, just a two-minute walk away. It’s the details that set this villa apart from the rest – the wine cooler for those bottles of bubbly, the jetted Jacuzzi tub surrounded by glass in the main bedroom’s ensuite, and a private sauna to really unwind. The swimming pool is heated, so you can enjoy a swim year-round and there’s a big Weber grill for barbecues by the poolside.

Inside, it’s impressive. Glass doors are automated, and can fold back to blend the huge living area with the terrace outside. Gallery-white walls let the quirky lighting fixtures above the dining table and plush velvet chairs speak for themselves. Yet, there’s something study-like about the main lounge with its wall of shelves showing off all manner of object d’art. The kitchen, with its long, marble-style bar, wouldn’t look out of place in a 1960’s entertainer’s LA pad. Then there are the bedrooms which embrace the sunny climes with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors.

Location-wise, you can dine and shop along the Puerto Banus marina or spend a beach day on Playa Nueva Andalucía – they’re walkable, though we suggest driving to maximise sunbathing time.

This stylish, modern home is a 15-minute drive from the heart of Marbella, and just over a kilometre from the beach. In a sleek, whitewashed apartment complex, this home has use of a shared pool and a private terrace and balcony. Decorated with an eye for design, this home is all about clean, sharp lines – there’s a comfortable L-shaped sofa for cosy nights in, while the small but perfectly formed kitchen is the perfect place to cook up some breakfast before heading down to the pool or out to the beach. With views of the surrounding mountains, the terrace features a shady wooden pergola and will surely beckon come sunset for a drink or two. Away from the apartment, you’ll want to head to the shore for long days by the beach, or into Marbella to experience city life.

The distant swoosh of the club head and the sound of thwack of club on ball providing an almost rhythmic backdrop to long sun-soaked days that don't involve straying far from the angular aquamarine swimming pool. Additional alfresco delights await, with sofas providing comfortable seating in the shade and outdoor dining areas for serving up flame-grilled food fresh off the barbecue.

A gorgeous open-plan interior contains plenty of luxurious touches to tempt you inside and is a delightful space to relax, hidden away from the southern Spanish sun. The home itself is simple but has everything you need for an extended stay – the terrace stood out to us in particular as a spot to get some privacy while still enjoying the sun. The large communal pools will be a real hit with the kids, and golf enthusiasts will be pleased to know there are two courses nearby. And if you want to hit the coast, Puerto Banús is just a short drive.

This villa is exactly what you’d expect from a pad on Marbella’s Costa del Sol. It’s modern, minimal and luxurious. The outside is the star of the show here, featuring a large pool, a hot tub and a sauna. Great views can be admired from every turn – there are multiple alfresco dining areas, as well as a rooftop lounge – perfect for watching sunsets with your loved ones. When thoughts turn to excursions, the sands of Playa Guadalmina are a short drive away, as is the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, or why not have your host arrange a boat trip?

Just 100 metres from the sandy Casablanca Beach, you’ll find this three-storey townhouse. You can also take a stroll along the Paseo Maritimo to the old town of Marbella or indulge in Michelin-starred dining at the Puente Romano Resort. For those seeking active leisure pursuits, you can take part in kite surfing, horse riding and golf. So that’s the prime location, now the home itself. The outdoor space is great – there are two large terraces with a covered seating area, bar, sunbeds and barbeque and we love the sea glimpses from the roof terrace. There’s also a communal pool surrounded by lawns and palm trees and a tennis and paddle court. Inside, it’s light and airy and there’s plenty of room for entertaining.

Just a ten-minute drive from buzzing Puerto Banús, this home is in a prime spot for exploring Marbella. But even better than the location is the house itself, with light-filled rooms, bird's eye views, and a sprawling garden to make the most of the Costa del Sol sunshine. Adults will enjoy the upstairs office and basement gym, while kids will love the swimming pool and private padel court. The seventh bedroom is in an independent guest house, ideal for grandparents or older teens wanting their own space. And the cherry on top is the fabulous main suite, where coastal panoramas, a soaker tub, and a private balcony await.

Bird's Eye Bliss

Just look at the beautiful sea views from this home’s shared rooftop pool (open from the 1st of May until the 1st of October). There’s a private wraparound terrace at this apartment, too – perfect for watching the sunrise over the Mediterranean. There are only four sunloungers, so you may need to pop your towel on one to claim it, but there's a sofa and dining area as well. We love that the bedrooms open out onto the balcony too. This development is within walking distance of San Pedro de Alcántara with its restaurants, bars and beaches, while glitzy Marbella is around a twenty-minute drive away.
