We think families will have a blast here – your host can provide a free cot to make travelling with little ones a breeze, though children will need supervision around the unfenced infinity pool. This no-frills apartment is just 150 metres from the sandy shores of Benidorm's Playa de Levante. The location in the old town is fantastic – restaurants, shops, and bars are all steps away – though that does mean it can get a little noisy at night. Back home, there isn't any outdoor space, but the floor-to-ceiling windows act as an internal balcony, making it an excellent spot to savour a glass of wine and watch the world pass by. One guest will sleep on a sofa bed, and only the living area has air conditioning (the bedrooms have fans). That said, it does the trick for a central pad a short stroll from the beach.

Levante Love

This seafront apartment boasts direct access to Levante Beach and a communal swimming pool. The views are lovely, and the sand is steps away, though the location does mean you can expect some outside noise. That said, parties and loud groups aren't allowed, so we think couples, friends, and families will settle right in. Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones, while the kitchen is more than equipped for whipping up large family meals. On-site parking is also available, but public transport is easily accessible for exploring all Benidorm has to offer.

It’s right on the Golden Mile, just a short walk to Playa de Poniente – and this corner apartment boasts glorious sea views. Best of all, it’s housed in a swanky complex with plenty of amenities. In addition to the communal outdoor swimming pool, there’s an additional indoor pool on the 46th floor – the views are spectacular – along with a sauna, spa and fitness room. There are alfresco hot tubs on the roof terrace, too. With two guests on a sofa bed in the living area, it won’t suit everyone, but we think the location and wealth of amenities more than makes up for the lack of privacy.

We recommend hiring a car or two to make the most of your time here – there are golf courses and beaches to discover. There’s plenty of room for you to spend time together at the villa, though two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room – it’s still a comfy spot. We love the terrace for alfresco dining, and the private pool is sure to please. 

Sunny Sanctuary

This coastal pet-friendly apartment has a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, with one of Guardamar's golden sandy beaches right on your doorstep. The furnishings are a little dated, and we think the place could do with an update, but being on the fifth floor ensures you'll have lovely views. We recommend having a car here for day trips up to the cities of Alicante or Elche, but Centre Beach, as well as Guardamar's local shops, cafes and restaurants, are all within walking distance.

Sea Breeze Heaven

This villa is perfect for large groups seeking a relaxing break. It’s 5 kilometres from Catral  and 10 kilometres from the Parque Natural del Hondo, which makes for a tranquil day trip. With only five bedrooms between twenty guests, there’ll be quite a few guests sleeping on sofa beds, but you’ll have plenty of space to spread out during your waking hours. The outside space includes a huge terrace, lush gardens, and a private pool. You can dine alfresco and cook on the built-in barbecue. We recommend bringing a car so you can explore the surrounding area – there are lakes, beaches, and golf courses nearby.

The Lagoon Song

This apartment is all about location. It’s situated right on the beachfront of Levante in Benidorm. You can walk to the beach in just two minutes, and if you prefer the poolside to the sand, there’s a communal pool to cool off in too. From the balcony, you can admire sweeping views of the sea, bay and city – the water glitters in the sunshine. The apartment is compact but comfortable – it’s an ideal base for a couple wanting to be beside the sea. 

Sunny Beach

With a string of eateries and bars close by and quick and easy access to sandy Levante Beach, this apartment in Benidorm's Old Town is a functional base for a family or group of friends. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the living area catches plenty of sunlight and is ideal for relaxing between excursions. That said, there isn't a tonne of space at capacity, with one guest on the sofa bed. But with that excellent location, we think you'll be out exploring too often to notice.

Coastline Memories

If you’re looking to stay right on the Levante beachfront in Benidorm – this apartment is for you. We love the amazing views of the beach, bay, and mountains. There are sliding doors to a Juliet balcony, so you can feel the sun on your face and there's a sun shade if the Spanish heat gets too much. Sleeping five people, (one guest will be on a sofa bed in the living room) – there’s only one bathroom, so at full capacity, there could be a queue in the morning. But we can forgive this, as the location is great here – Playa de Levante is just 5 metres away and the nearest restaurant is under 50 metres from this home.

The Cider House

Enjoy the best of Benidorm from this bright and modern apartment. There's a chance you might hear some noise from other neighbours in the building during your stay, but you'll also have access to the shared tennis court and the communal pool during the summer. The private balcony offers lovely views of Levante beach and the Mediterranean sea, both right on your doorstep. A car isn't essential, but you might want one for exploring further afield. There are plenty of great spots within walking distance though, like local restaurants and bars, and the Aqualandia water park.

Blue Skies & Sweet Serenity

If you’re searching for a getaway on Benidorm’s coast, this could be the home for you. Just 150 metres from Levante beach, this seventh-floor apartment is an ideal base for a seaside stay – don’t worry about climbing stairs though, the building has an elevator. At full occupancy, two guests will draw the short straw and be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. This is at the expense of lounge space in what’s already a fairly cosy space, however, so the home may be better suited to four.

Alongside the main house, there's a casita ideal for kids and a wooden lodge for those wanting extra privacy – though some people will sleep on sofa beds. Our favourite is the summer kitchen, where all twenty-three guests can tuck into tapas together. The pool will also be a big hit, even if there are only eight loungers. Location-wise, you'll be 22 kilometres from the beach in Guardamar del Segura. Also within driving distance is Alicante if you want to explore further afield.
