Just a short stroll from the sandy beach in Juan-Les-Pins, this chic little apartment makes us want to hop on a plane and head straight for the French Riveria. We can't decide what we love more – the sunny balcony (we think it's a sweet spot to enjoy evening aperitifs as the sun goes down) or the bright and stylish living room ideal for lounging after a long day on your feet.

The location is the best part of all. Juan-Les-Pins' incredible array of gourmet eateries, trendy boutiques and lively bars are all a quick walk away, while the museums in Antibes are half an hour away on foot.

This apartment has a great location, just a ten-minute stroll from the beach, the old town of Antibes, the Picasso Museum and the Port Vauban. Other attractions include the chic resort of Juan-les-Pins, known for its stylish restaurants and fashion boutiques, a twenty-minute walk away. Back at this modern apartment, which is above a shop, there are views over the city from the social open-plan living space and balcony. It’s a central spot, so you’ll have some street noise here, but you have everything virtually on your doorstep.

This contemporary apartment is all about the location for us. There’s secure parking here, but if you don’t fancy driving on holiday, a car isn’t necessary. Many local hotspots are within walking distance and Antibes train station is a mere five-minute stroll away for adventures further afield in the Côte d'Azur. Walk to Old Antibes, the Picasso Museum or Gravette beach – there’s something for everyone here. And when dinner is calling, head to Juan-les-Pins. A stroll down the seafront promenade, lined with French eateries, awaits.

At this heavenly waterfront home in Cap d’Antibes, relax in style surrounded by the sights and sounds of the sea. Inside, white-washed walls, sharp black accents and smooth grey tiles create a modern Mediterranean ambience in the living room space. Upstairs, you’ll find each room has its own story to tell with a plethora of unique details such as curved window frames, a rock wall installation and colourful tiles. 

We can’t decide which we love more – the roof terrace for alfresco dining or the outdoor swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing swim at daybreak. Though it’s tempting to spend your afternoons lounging on the balcony beguiled by the ocean views, we recommend taking the leisurely thirty-minute wander into the old town of Antibes – the Musée Picasso is well worth a visit – or strolling along Salis Beach, a mere ten minutes from your doorstep.

At first glance there’s a real architectural wow moment, but here clean lines don’t mean an austere or angular welcome. Step inside and there’s a real feeling of warmth and liveability, thanks to softening touches – sprawling sofas, warm wall tones, bold canvases and opulent beds. Everything has been done throughout to make the landscape a highlight, as it richly deserves. The floor-to-ceiling windows and retractable glass living room wall let in the soft Mediterranean light. The surrounding gardens are a structured mass of palms, vines, lawns, even a trickling waterfall. There are the incredible views from the terrace of the sea and Alps beyond. We've not even touched on the huge heated pool, which deserves special mention, as does the sauna, the wine cellar… we could go on. In short: this place is truly amazing.

There is no kitchen here, only a small fridge and hot drinks station, so you’ll need to head out at meal times. The terrace is the ideal spot for enjoying a sundowner, and the communal pool is a welcome addition in the summer. The Boulevard de la Croisette is a ten-minute walk away, connecting you to Croisette Beach and the heart of Cannes, where you’ll find eateries, boutiques and bars.

This pocket-sized apartment is a ten-minute stroll from Cannes' famous Boulevard de la Croisette. It's a fantastic base on the French Riviera, and we think it's perfect for a couple or two friends. There isn't a lot of space inside – the kitchenette is compact, and guests three and four will have to sleep on the sofa bed. But you'll love the sun-kissed outdoor spaces, like the terrace for alfresco meals and the shared seasonal pool. Besides, with beautiful beaches, chic eateries, and other glamorous spots within walking distance, days spent indoors will be few and far between.
