Set amongst the gleaming piazzas and pastel-coloured houses of L'Île-Rousse, enjoy the Meditterean pace of life at this traditional Corsican Casa. Located bang in the centre of town, spend your morning sipping fresh coffee and pastries on the shaded terrace of a boulangerie, before hitting the white sands of the beach nearby. This lovely home has heaps of rustic charm, with exposed wooden-beams, giant windows and a terrace overlooking the rooftops of the town. Independent shops, seafood restaurants - and of course, the beach - is right on your doorstep.

Luna Rossa

Thanks to its elevated position on a beautiful, quiet farm estate surrounded by trees, this home has fabulous mountain and sea views. Cool off from the Corsican sun in the private swimming pool, and then have a refreshing outdoor shower. Or have a stroll around the communal parkland.

Later, rustle up some aziminu (Corsican bouillabaisse) in the open plan kitchen. We love that the bedroom opens out onto the terrace, so you can get up the next day and go straight out for a morning swim. This place is perfect for a romantic break or a solo traveller.

Or, if you fancy a dip in the Mediterranean, the sandy Farinole Beach is just over a kilometre away. Saint-Florent is also well worth a visit with its pretty harbour and a small fort, 10 kilometres away, while the stunning clifftop village of Nonza is 9 kilometres from this gorgeous retreat.


Corsican Pines

Offering everything you need for a serene island break, this charming two-bedroom apartment is located close to the crescent-shaped white sand beach, gentle lapping waves and beach bars of family-friendly Lozari in Corsica's less-explored north-west corner.

Its central living room and kitchen acts as the hub of the home, with the twin bedroom and main bathroom leading off it. Large bifold doors open out onto a balcony shaded by canvas sails to keep you from getting scorched beneath cloudless Corsican skies. Meanwhile, there's a double bedroom upstairs, complete with its own shower and basin.

After spending a couple of days unwinding close to home, you might find yourself with an urge to explore the area. Head east along winding mountain roads to the untamed landscapes of the Agriates Desert, before continuing on to Saint-Florent, its imposing 15th-century citadel looming large on the horizon.

Alternatively, drive south along the coast to the Riviera-style seaside town of Île Rousse for a taste of Corsican luxury. After perusing its upmarket boutiques, why not continue to Calvi? The island's cultural capital benefits from a bustling atmosphere and awe-inspiring views over the bay.


Stay the Corse

Located within a vast, rural estate and surrounded by pomegranate and olive trees, this captivating Corsican home really does have it all. Boasting mesmerising Cagna Mountain views, terraced gardens and an outdoor pool and hot tub, this heavenly home guarantees a hefty dose of good, old-fashioned R & R. Dating back to the mid-19th century this former school features a rustic, farmhouse-style kitchen and an open-plan living and dining room complete with terracotta tiled floors and beautifully vaulted, wooden ceilings.  

You’ll love tucking into your daily delivery of home-made pastries before whiling away hours lazing on loungers in the sun, dipping in and out of the pool or luxuriating in your private, outdoor hot tub. Prepare firm family favourites on the range in the kitchen or hang out in the outdoor kitchen, before feasting on barbecued delights on the covered, poolside deck. Spend the afternoon reading or reclining on the raised terracotta terrace or wander about the garden while inhaling the intoxicating scents of eucalyptus and maquis. Whatever you do, don’t forget to host a hammam session before grabbing a bottle of the estate’s fine wine and watching the sunset behind the mountains.

Alternatively, if you fancy a little light exploration, one of the island’s most idyllic beaches, Plage de Roccapina is just 14km away whilst the historic village of Sartène can be reached in 20 minutes by car.


Pomegranate & Olive

From the moment you step inside this home, you’ll be drawn out onto the terrace. Secluded and serene, it has the most stunning views across the bay of Ajaccio – a sight we’re sure you’ll never tire of. 

Wander back inside, and this home gives a very distinct nod to its surroundings. Pops of teal and blue are peppered throughout this apartment, mirroring the tones of the ocean outside, and with coastal decor adorning the walls and shelves. It’s compact but comfortable with that little touch of class, making it the ideal base for exploring the local area. 

Locally, you may want to visit the old town of Ajaccio or perhaps you long to feel the sand between your toes – if so, you’re in luck, as Porticcio beach is just a short four-minute drive away. After a day of adventure, return home, pour yourself a glass of wine, and head onto your terrace where you can snuggle up on the sofa. As the day draws to an end, watch as the sun sets over the Iles Sanguinaires (The Blood Islands) – named for their dark red colour. As the sky turns from its orange glow to black, look up at the blanket of stars above. With just the sound of the ocean and the feel of the breeze tickling your skin, you won’t find a better way to end the day. 

Ruby Sunset

Situated on the shores of western Corsica, this bright and modern apartment is an excellent base from which to explore the Gulf of Ajaccio. The place is fuss-free and inviting, with a comfortable loveseat strategically positioned in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and a dinky kitchenette for putting together charcuterie boards. Spend mornings unwinding on the terrace before heading down to the communal pool for a leisurely swim. 

Should you fancy a change of scenery, jump in the car and take the short drive to the idyllic Plage de Porticcio or head over to Ajaccio, the island’s capital city and birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Brush up on your art history knowledge at the Fesch Museum then seek out a harbourside restaurant for a slap-up seafood supper. 

Distant Dreams

This modern apartment is located in a beautiful, newly-built residence on the outskirts of Porto Vecchio, just a short walk from the town centre. The apartment has two bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed and access to the large terrace, which offers stunning views of the mountains. The living room is well-furnished with a flat-screen TV and opens onto the terrace as well. The open kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and amenities, including an oven, dishwasher, and electric coffee machine. The apartment also includes air-conditioning and heating for maximum comfort throughout the year. Guests can enjoy reserved parking at the house during their stay. The location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions like Figari and Bonifacio, as well as beautiful lakes like Lac de l'Ospedale. A car is recommended to make the most of your stay.

The Queen of Castile

With a glittering sea view, a delightful terrace, and a swimming pool for cooling off, this apartment is a great choice for a sunny getaway. With everything you need for a comfortable stay, couples and small families will love this base for exploring Grosseto-Prugna and the idyllic Corsica island.

Crisp Sea Air

Dating back to the times of the Roman Empire, Porto-Vecchio is as picturesque and charming as any town in the Mediterranean. This gorgeous apartment sits in a renovated 19th-century building in the heart of the Old Town and offers stunning views in every direction. Inside, cool off from the midday heat in the air-conditioned living space while enjoying the natural light and views across the town. Our favourite bit is the expansive roof terrace, the ideal place to gather for soaking up the Corsican sunshine. The well-shaded dining area has its own barbecue so you can sit down to eat alfresco at lunchtime. There’s also a relaxing chill-out area, with wicker furniture and beanbags overlooking the Mediterranean sea below. If you can tear yourself away from your home's many little luxuries, you're only a fifteen-minute walk from a sandy beach and the charming marina filled with bobbing yachts, while just outside your door, the Old Town offers up restaurants, bars and plenty of cultural attractions including the impressive Église St-Jean-Baptiste.

Sun Hits the Sky

With ruggedly beautiful coastlines and quaint villages nestled amid spectacular mountain ranges in an enthralling juxtaposition, for a small island Corsica certainly doesn't hold back on big sights and even bigger experiences – and this understated holiday apartment tucked away in the heart of Piterosella provides the perfect springboard from which to make the most of what the island has to offer. 

Boasting fabulous views over the bay of Ajaccio, you need only to step out onto the large south-west facing terrace to begin to appreciate not only the beauty of Corsica but also its rich, varied history and how here traditional Italian culture melds with a particularly French joie de vivre in order to create the uniquely Corsican way of life. 

Open your eyes and the brilliant waters of the bay will be among the first things you see as the bedroom enjoys direct access to the terrace. After filling your lungs with a breath of sea-air, head to the living room for a cup of freshly brewed coffee at the breakfast bar and to decide what you're going to do for the day.

Conveniently located close to the shops, restaurants, bars and other amenities of Pietrosella, the apartment offers its guests a comfortable and stylish abode from where you can head out to explore the island's captivating coastal hideaways. Among our favourites have to be the wide, sugary sands of Agosta beach – located just a 10-minute walk away – and the mesmerisingly clear waters of Isolella backgrounded by distant mountains, which is around an 8-minute drive from the apartment. There is also a cove just 3-minutes walking downhill from the apartment, so you can nip off for a quick dip whenever you feel like it.

From exhilarating hikes surrounded by breathtaking scenery, to leisurely strolls through postcard-worthy towns and fishing villages, and even vineyard tours of the wine estates of Capitoro and Omasca (around a 20-minute drive from the apartment) there is something for everyone to fall in love with in Corsica. 



Of Corsica

This modern apartment building, built in 2022, is located in the heart of Corté, offering a central and quiet location. The cosy 2-room apartment spans 38m² and comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. The living/dining room features a double sofa bed, dining table, and flat-screen TV. The bedroom boasts a French bed with mountain and countryside views. The open kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, and washing machine. Other amenities include air conditioning and WiFi throughout the apartment. The building also offers roofed parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Nearby attractions include Musée de la Corse (800m) and Citadelle de Corté (700m), while hiking paths like Restonica, Tavignano, and Asco are just a short distance away. A car is recommended as this property is 1km from the railway station.

At the foot of Lavasina beach, this serene apartment invites guests to enjoy a haven of peace overlooking the soothing scenes of the Mediterranean Sea.

Head out to sample some freshly caught seafood by venturing to the likes of Bastia, Erbalunga and Miomo – nestled a few kilometres away and boasting wining, dining and shopping delights waiting to be discovered.
