It's a short walk to the Montpellier National Opera, while other popular attractions nearby include the Porte du Peyrou monument, dedicated to King Louis XIV of France, situated at the eastern end of the Jardin du Peyrou. Or head to The Musee de l'histoire Montpellier and Montpellier Cathedral.

Enjoy a super-central Montpellier stay in this cosy cocoon, ideal for city explorers who need a quiet place to relax and rejuvenate between adventuring sessions. What this home may lack in grandeur, it certainly makes up for in location – it’s based right in the heart of Montpellier, close to the main attractions such as the Place de la Comédie and the Musée Fabre, and so is ideal for those who want to be in the centre of all the action. The skylights in the apartment make it feel bright and joyful, and it boasts some traditional design features that give it a touch of French flair, such as exposed beams and stylish decor.

Wake up each morning in your comfy sofa bed and cook up some scrambled eggs with boudin noir in your kitchenette. Tuck in together at your cute dining setup, while you discuss together your itinerary for the day. Venture out to explore cobblestone streets and ancient buildings. Upon your return, get the PJs on and grab a book from the mini library for a bit of quiet time on the sofa, or cuddle up together with a movie and a glass of French red wine. 

Sunlit Beams

Sitting on a pretty Provencal hilltop, this chateau doesn't waste this prime location. Step behind the formidable stone walls – some of which date back to the 12th century – and you're greeted with expansive rooms packed full of luxurious touches.

The arched windows and glass doors at the end of the open living room are nothing but generous when it comes to natural light, making for a lovely space in which to dine or lounge. Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathrooms are similarly lavish, especially the teak-wood four-poster beds and bathtub overlooking the outdoor space.

Speaking of which, the alfresco space at the address is pretty special, too. Overlooked by 800-year-old gargoyles, there's a small swimming pool lent a little tropicality from the neighbouring palm trees. The built-in charcoal barbecue makes it easy to whip up feasts in the summer months, as well.

When it comes to getting to know this famous region a little better, the local village of Aragon can be reached easily on foot and has some renowned restaurants for you to enjoy. To help you work up an appetite, there are lots of walking routes and outdoor activities to undertake in the nearby national parks, while La Franqui beach is only 65km away, too.

A Provençal Proverb

This cosy apartment is an ideal base for two in Montpellier. It’s located right in the heart of the city, just a four-minute walk from Place de la Comédie and a stroll from the pedestrian centre. If you bring a car, you can drive fifteen minutes to the beaches of Palavas-les-Flots and La Grande Motte, or you can hop on a train at the station two minutes away and go exploring. The apartment is petite but comfortable, perfect for a romantic break. You’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay in Montpellier. 

Chic & Cheery

This lovely little villa lies on a small medieval hamlet, surrounded by Mediterranean gardens. We think it's ideal for a romantic getaway – children aren't permitted here, so you can take advantage of the peace and quiet. With your own Jacuzzi on the terrace and a private pool heated between April and October, it's well-equipped for alfresco living. We highly recommend hiring a car here to make the most of this gorgeous location, whether it's a day trip to Sommières or the bustling Montpellier.

Private Heaven

A short drive from the city of Montpellier, this villa offers fantastic views and plenty to do. We think it's a great choice for families and friend groups – it's bursting with amenities, including all-terrain bikes, a pétanque court, a heated infinity pool, and a gym and sauna. The dedicated office has a double sofa bed for two guests, and there are two EV chargers here for added convenience. We do recommend hiring a car here to make the most of your stay, whether it's exploring Montpellier or the village of Montferrier-sur-Lez, or spending a day at the beach.

The Spritz

This lovely home can be found in Gruissan, a picturesque town in the south of France. If you’re hoping for white sand beaches and beautiful scenery, this is an excellent choice of location. Best of all, it’s home to this stylish abode. 

This home ticks every box when it comes to fuss-free holiday homes. It’s small but perfectly formed, with a cosy living room that’s the heart of the home. Children will love sleeping on the mezzanine level, where they can have their own space while still being close to the grown-ups. 

The outside space here is sure to win over everyone, though. You’ll have access to the shared swimming pool, which is a dream to dive into on hot, sunny days. You can sunbathe alongside the pool, dipping a toe in every now and then, or choose to soak up the sun on one of two terraces. There’s shade aplenty if you’d rather curl up with a book and a lemonade, too. 

Plage de Matteille is less than a kilometre away, where you can splash in the shallows and build sandcastles. It’s also easy to stroll to the harbour promenade – it’s a lovely way to spend an evening. Hikers will be thrilled to be within reach of the trails up Massif de la Clape, which boasts some spectacular views. There’s something for everyone here. 


Pink & Teal

Sitting on the southern tip of France, this stylish home opens its doors onto the beauty of the Mediterranean coastline. 

Just a short drive from the fishing town of Sète, this is the perfect setting for families and friends to share the magic of seaside living. Like watching the sunrise from the terrace or enjoying your morning coffee in the peaceful garden.

There are some wonderful restaurants in the charming village of Sète – only a fifteen–minute drive away. But we won’t be surprised if you want to dine at home. Light up the barbecue, pour a glass of local wine and watch the sunset over the horizon.

Whether you’re looking at the art, reading one of the books or simply gazing out of the traditional French doors, there’s an inspirational quality to this home. 

Begin your day in one of the nearby cafes and then walk through Place de la Comédie – only four–minutes away. The train station and tramways are a two–minute walk from this home, making it a great spot to connect with the rest of the city. 

French food lovers won’t want to miss Halles Laissac market – it’s only a minute's walk away and it offers a wonderful selection of regional delicacies. With your basket full, make your way home to put on some music, open the doors and share a beautiful meal in this special setting.

And if you tire of performing the gavotte, there’s always a stylish striped chaise to rest on, or one of the 11 beds – many fitted out with canopies in true Renaissance style. Freshen up by taking a turn in the enormous grounds, with orangery and fountains. Further afield, the market town of Molière beckons, with restaurants, cafés, and chic boutiques.

You’ll find this apartment in the heart of Montpellier, footsteps from restaurants and cafes and only a six-minute walk from the bustling Place de la Comédie. When you’d like to escape the city, Palavas les Flots Beach is a twenty-two-minute drive away. The home is compact yet equipped with everything you need for an easygoing break – there’s high-speed wi-fi for those keen to keep on top of their emails and a streamlined kitchen for knocking up quick dinners.

We expect you'll spend most of your time in the cheerful outdoor space, decked out with a sun lounger, dining table and sofas to encourage true relaxation. Nip out to one of the nearby patisseries each morning, pick up some fresh croissants and take them back home to enjoy in the sunshine.
