Pocket-sized but perfectly chic, this apartment is a great option for couples. You'll find it in the vibrant 5th arrondissement, close to all the attractions of the Latin Quarter. After sightseeing, stretch out in the comfortable living room while a record spins on the vinyl player. The kitchen is well-stocked for home cooking, though the dining table can also double as a desk if you need to work from home. It's worth noting that the WC is separate from the main bathroom, but that aside, we think this pad more than ticks the boxes.

Colourful and comfortable, this is an excellent Parisian base for a family. It’s in the friendly Croulelarbe district in the 13th arrondissement, with excellent transport links to the rest of Paris – the Louvre is just eight Metro stops away. There are restaurants nearby, but you’ll also have a kitchen to cook in. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space is the heart of the home, and also where guests nine and ten will sleep (on a sofa bed).

It’s close to a Metro station too, so you can easily see more of the city. The home itself is on the small side (it’s been converted from an old shop), with an open-plan living, kitchen, and bedroom area that can feel a little cosy and close to the street outside. It’s compact yet comfortable, and in a convenient spot for exploring the charms of Paris.

This Parisian apartment's traditional interior design features antique wood furnishings, a Persian rug and bookshelves so tall that they come with a ladder system to reach those hidden away at the top. We found it had the refined atmosphere of a quiet and cosy library, but that's until you step out through the large glass doors that take up one side of the light-filled living space and onto the home's suntrap of a balcony. Being up on the eighth floor means that there's a wonderful view of the south Paris skyline and the towering dome of the Pantheon can even be spotted. It should give you a bit of inspiration to go out and explore the French capital. The spectacular Jardin du Luxembourg is only fifteen minutes away on foot, as are the Catacombs if you fancy a unique historical perspective of the city.

With an address in the 5th arrondissement, you’ll be within walking distance of the Jardin des Plantes, the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Panthéon. The apartment itself has three balconies no less (though they are on the compact side). We love the views over the Jardin des Plantes neighbourhood from here. Inside is light and airy thanks to the tall ceilings and a feature staircase leads to the en-suite bedroom (the second is on the entrance level). The other thing we should mention is there’s a desk in the living room – handy whether you’re here for business or leisure.

Botanical Heights

Once a printing house, this sleek duplex apartment embodies the artistic and stylish vibes of the 13th arrondissement. With the nearest bus stops and metro stations just steps away, you'll be exploring Paris just moments after you drop your bags. The Pathé Les Fauvettes and the Galerie des Gobelins are just over the road, along with a wide selection of restaurants in the surrounding streets to help you satisfy any and all cravings. There's plenty of room here for four, with a luxurious en-suite and wonderfully minimal open-plan living space. The second bedroom is more compact, but you'll have a cot here if you're travelling with little ones, making it extra practical.

Located in the heart of Paris, this apartment is an ideal base for an extended family or group of friends visiting the city. Granted, at full occupancy two people will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room, which is fairly cosy, and the third bedroom is accessed via a steep, narrow staircase. Still, it’s a small price to pay for this home’s enviable location. Next to Place de l'Italie, you’ll find an array of boutiques, French eateries and markets on your doorstep. And for trips further afield, metro stations are within walking distance, so hopping across the city is a breeze.

Looking for a fuss-free base in the lively 13th arrondissement? This apartment offers just that. While it may not have the grandeur of the Parisian streets below, the Juliet balconies in every room are a nice perk. Keep in mind, there’s just one bathroom here (plus a handy additional WC), and the home is on the third floor with no lift, so stairs are part of the deal. But we think it's worth the climb for the leafy city views. When you’re ready to explore, Chinatown and the iconic Bibliothèque Nationale de France are minutes away. Or hop on the nearby Les Gobelins Metro (four minutes on foot) into central Paris.

This ground-floor apartment has been refurbished recently and mixes period features like high ceilings with modern minimalism, a sleek white kitchen and a touch of industrial styling. Comfortable, bright and surprisingly private, it's a real retreat away from the bustling city streets.

Step outside each morning and grab a coffee and croissant as you stroll along the Seine – it's just a six-minute walk to take in the impressive view of Notre Dame, currently being restored. Close to the buzzing Latin Quarter, there's no shortage of great places to eat, drink and shop, and most of the city's big attractions are within walking distance.

Rustic yet regal, this is the kind of pied a terre that only Paris can pull off. On the banks of the Seine, it’s just across the river from Île de la Cité with Notre Dame in one direction (a fifteen-minute walk away) and The Louvre in the other (a ten-minute walk). Despite its city-centre location, the decor is distinctly provincial with wood-beamed ceilings painted sunflower yellow and hand-cut tiles in the bathroom from the south of France. A mural depicting medieval France sits behind the country-style dining table and the walls are adorned with equine paintings. In the buzzing heart of Paris, this place is a little slice of provincial life and a soothing place to return to after a day of sightseeing.

You’ll find this grand apartment just a short walk from the Louvre Museum, Orangerie Museum and the Tuileries Gardens. The address is fantastic – but what about the apartment? Well, as you can see, this elegant home is a bit of a gem. We love the large windows and the character features in the open-plan living space. There’s a well-equipped kitchen for when you want to do some home cooking as well or let the host here arrange a private chef to create some special meals.

The narrow streets of Le Marais are the kind of scene you see in films depicting Paris – charming Haussmann buildings with wooden shutters housing bijou bistros, bakeries and quirky little art galleries. It is known as the city’s artsiest neighbourhood and the striking and stylish interior of this apartment fits right in.

Everything feels like an ode to the 18th-century building this apartment sits in. The gilded tables and golden candelabra, the thick curtains swathing towering French windows, and the marble-effect walls. This place radiates style as soon as you step into the open-plan living area. Artworks depicting scenes from old Paris dominate the walls. Bedrooms are just as stylish as the living area with sparkling chandeliers above plush beds. Should you need to catch up on work, there are laptop-friendly desks – our favourite is the one next to the big windows.

The building was completed in 1860 and there are plenty of reminders of its history, from the high ceilings and parquet floors to the ornately carved fireplace and tall windows. That's not to say it's without modern comforts though – you'll love the sleek kitchen, luxurious marble bathrooms and workspace where you can catch up on emails while working remotely. 

Our favourite spot is the balcony, where you can sit and enjoy croissants with coffee for breakfast while watching the city come to life below. Down on the street level, you'll find many of Paris' top attractions are right on your doorstep. The Louvre is just a five-minute stroll away, while a ten-minute walk will take you to the Notre Dame. There are plenty of brasseries and jazz bars to discover nearby and, thanks to the excellent public transport links, you can visit other parts of the city with ease. 

New Romantics

Located on the Left Bank, this apartment is within walking distance of the Hôtel des Invalides, with its museums and monuments. Other places of interest accessible on foot include the Eiffel Tower and the elegant Bon Marché, Paris's oldest department store. This area also has some grand architecture, and you don’t have to go anywhere to admire it – the French doors here offer great views. We love that the living and dining room is bathed in natural light. It’s also worth mentioning that if you’re a group of eight, two people will be sleeping here on a sofa bed. This apartment is a sound choice for friends and familes.

Though the living space is slightly small, the sky-high ceilings and large French windows with views of the courtyard provide a sense of openness. Located just a four-minute walk to the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Garden, and with countless cafes and bistros even closer, the best of Paris is at your feet. Need to travel further across the city? Châtelet les Halles Metro is just a five-minute walk, or let the apartment’s Concierge organise your transport. Back home, you can’t fault the light-filled interiors, and the original beams are a delight. Although it’s worth noting that if three of you share, the last guest will sleep on a sofa bed in the lounge. But for a home with such an impressive location, we can overlook that.

Tucked into the heart of Paris, this chic apartment is an ideal base for anyone wanting to drop off their bags and head straight out to explore. We love the light, stylish interiors, and you’ll find everything needed for a relaxing stay here – just bear in mind that as a party of six, two people will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. Locally, you can walk to the iconic Louvre Museum in less than ten minutes – just don’t forget to stop for some authentic cuisine at one of the many local eateries en route.

From lively jazz bars and the Opéra Bastille to bohemian boutiques and Marché d'Aligre, this pocket of Paris has something for everyone. And it's where you'll find this stylish apartment, just a five-minute walk from the July Column, twenty from Notre Dame and surrounded by a slew of chic cafes, trendy wine bars and delicious eateries.

Come home after a long day and sprawl out on the sofa, nibbling on French cheese, fresh-baked bread and sharing a bottle of wine picked up from the market. We love the exposed brick in the kitchen, the skylights in the bathroom and the soft, modern furnishings. The style is minimal, the living space bright, and the bedroom super comfortable. This flat may be on the smaller side, but we think it'll do nicely for solo travellers and couples wanting to stay in the centre of the action.

This pocket-sized flat may be snug, but trust us, the scenery more than makes up for it. From the window, you'll have a birds-eye view of Notre Dame in the distance, standing tall over Paris' rooftops. It's a striking peek across the city, and combined with the generous amount of natural light and simple aesthetic, it makes a stay here feel unique. Following a long day exploring, come home and unwind with a glass of wine on the sofa or a quick nibble around the dining table. There's not heaps of space – in fact, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed – but the location is excellent. Situated on a quiet street in the Latin Quarter, you're just a short walk from the Seine, Luxembourg Gardens and, of course, Notre Dame. We love this culturally-rich area – it's ripe with eateries, cafes and charming shops frequented by Sorbonne students – and all the major sights are either a quick metro ride or stroll away.

Situated on the Île de la Cité, you’ll be surrounded by the River Seine – so this apartment is perfect for relaxing riverside strolls. Or visit the nearby iconic Notre-Dame de Paris, while across the Pont Neuf, the Louvre Museum waits to be explored. Afterwards, relax in this elegant apartment with its views over the Quai des Orfèvres – the large windows allow the light to flood in. This place has a bathtub, too – perfect for a soak after a busy day exploring the city.
