This home in the south of France offers sun, sand, and so much more. It's located just a twelve-minute drive away from the coast, and has a fantastic range of amenities that will keep even the fussiest guests smiling. 

There's a relaxed ambiance throughout the house, thanks to the warm colour scheme and use of natural wood. You can relax on the huge sofa with a glass of wine, challenge your guests to a round of pool, or take a nap in one of the serene bedrooms. This home was also made for outdoor living – head onto the patio and soak up the sun, before plunging into the glittering swimming pool. And, when you get hungry, you can enjoy a delicious grilled feast hot off the barbeque along with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. 

Take the short drive over to the beach, and you can pick from a range of beaches – we recommend dipping your toes in the Atlantic Ocean at Plage des Océanides. If you fancy a game of golf, then the nearest course is also a twelve-minute drive away. And, the Réserve Naturelle Nationale du Marais d'Orx is a wonderful place for a walk through the wetlands – it's just ten minutes away by car. 

Holiday Heat

Located in the heart of Côte d’Or, this beautiful home was built in the 1900s and restored to make a lovely holiday getaway. Kids will love the vast garden, where you'll find outdoor seating for enjoying an alfresco meal or an aperitif. The kitchen is fully equipped for large meals and there's plenty of space for groups. Nearby vineyards can be visited by bike or on foot, but we recommend having a car here for day trips – Dijon and the Parc Naturel Regional du Morvan are easily accessible by car.

Between Vineyards & Castles

Boasting breath-taking views of the snow-capped Alps, this cosy, chalet-style apartment is what mountain escapes are all about. You’re within easy reach of the slopes here, but with so many on-site amenities at your fingertips, we wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to stay in. Go for a dip in the heated pool, keep cosy with a session in the communal sauna, or simply sit back and relax in the downstairs lounge. Then, when it’s time to eat, head back upstairs to your rustic home from home, where you’ll find everything you need to whip up a hearty, evening meal. Delish. 

If you do fancy getting out and about, you’ll be pleased to hear that you’re perfectly placed for exploring all that Alpe d’Huez has to offer. Grab your equipment from the ski room and set off for the slopes or settle in at one of the local bars and treat yourself to glass or two of warming mulled wine. And, if you fancy soaking up more of the gorgeous scenery, there’s a Ferris wheel nearby offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. What more could you ask for? 

Conifer Tree Breeze

This stylish little studio apartment is right in the heart of historic Annecy. From your doorstep, you can step out into streets lined with wooden-shuttered buildings, where cafés spill out onto the pavement. An alpine town, Annecy is flanked by snow-capped mountains and perhaps the most picturesque spot is the stone Palais in the centre of the Le Thiou River – the view of which is best enjoyed from the riverside restaurants and gelaterias, a five-minute walk from this apartment. Although it’s a studio, the apartment itself feels spacious and it has plenty of character courtesy of the exposed brick wall and hardwood floor. A wall of windows lets in plenty of sunshine during the day and a room divider separates the living and bedroom area from the dine-in kitchen. There’s even a stylish, Scandinavian-esque desk if you want to work remotely. If you want to get around the compact town of Annecy in a flash, your host provides complimentary bikes for sightseeing. 

Alpine Brickwork

Few things sounds more romantic than a cottage situated in the middle of wine country, where the endless vineyards sprawl and birds chirp. Perfect for a long-awaited holiday away from the kids or a getaway for a budding romance, the home is small but its surroundings are vast and baby-blue French shutters are ever-so charming. Escape right out to the private gardens from the pastel bedroom. After days lounging by the pool or drifting in the nearby river, take the bikes to one of two nearby towns to explore gothic churches and to pick up local delicacies like fresh truffles and a bottle (or two) of wine for enjoyment on the stone terrace. Intimacy is the emphasis here, and we can guarantee this home as a perfect start to a French-inspired love story. 

Gardenia

Set overlooking the golf course of La Palmyre, this whimsical villa in Les Mathes is bathed in an abundance of natural light and welcomes guests to retreat to its garden of sand and pines. 

While luxury designs and amenities grace the villa from the inside out, you'll feel as though you're staying in the wilderness even when spending time inside the home here. Despite double exposure from east to west, the home isn't at all overlooked, meaning you'll benefit from utmost privacy. Open up the whopping bi-fold doors to bring the outside in – the transitioning indoor-outdoor living spaces make for a sociable stay. Meanwhile, seven stylish bedroom suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom grant everyone in the group their own personal space – important for precious moments of solitude. 

In the garden a wealth of fauna and flora surrounds, creating an idyllic hideaway and escape from reality. Relaxing, meditating, doing yoga or simply reading your book in peace will provide you with an utterly blissful experience in this serene setting. Oh, and you'll have your own heated swimming pool to make a splash in here too. 

With the nearest sandy beach, only a 300 metre walk away – you'll have the choice of staying here in your own private haven or exploring France's western coastline. Why not take adventurous trips out to discover the picturesque locale? Ile de Oleron is reachable in just a fifty-minute drive up north and boasts stunning beaches and seafood opportunities galore. 


Whimsical Wilderness 

This fabulous villa offers a serene Provençal escape just outside Roussillon, surrounded by lavender fields and ochre hills. It’s designed with families and groups in mind – you’ll find four ensuite bedrooms (including one on the ground floor), a bright living space with fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen made for market-day cooking. Days drift easily between the pool, pétanque court, and shaded garden, while evenings invite slow meals outdoors under clear skies. This is a place to savour Provence at your own pace – relaxed, timeless, and distinctly welcoming.

Provence Bliss

This sunny sanctuary is in a quiet residential area, yet within easy reach of some of the gems of Provence. It’s just five minutes by car from the riverside city of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, which is nicknamed the Venice of Provence and known for its antique shops (it has more than anywhere else in France). When you’re not hunting for vintage finds or touring hilltop villages and vineyards, the house is a peaceful place to recharge your batteries. There’s a pool to cool off in and space to sunbathe, while indoors you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, and two bathrooms, both with a walk-in shower.

The Sunshine House

With the peaceful sound of the birds singing in the garden and the calming tone of the interior, this home welcomes you to enjoy a serene stay on the island of Oléron. 

Located in Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron, with the beach just a short drive away, there’s everything you could need to experience the natural abundance of the Charente-Maritime region. Inspired by the beauty of the surrounding coastline, the owners have styled this home to feel like the perfect island escape. And with the welcome addition of a private heated swimming pool, you’ll find yourself transported to a wonderful state of relaxation. 

Inside or outside, this is a wonderful place to gather with family and friends. Enjoy a quiet morning coffee on the terrace, take a refreshing dip and gather for sunset drinks and meals (prepared with fresh local produce from the nearby market). However you choose to spend your time here, you’ll find yourself serenaded by the sweet charm of French living. 

Days can be spent hiking, sightseeing, horse riding or setting sail with a boat trip around the island. The renowned Chassiron lighthouse is just a short drive away, and you’ll find restaurants, bars and shops within easy reach – your lovely host can also provide excellent recommendations on what to do during your stay. 

Maison Harmonie

The village of Valbonne is just a thirty-minute drive inland from incredible Côte d’Azur scenery like the city of Cannes and its beautiful beaches. It’s also less than twenty minutes from Grasse, also known as the home of perfume. With such wonderful sights and smells in the region, it’s no surprise that this sensational experience continues at home. This loft is set in the heart of the quaint, traditional town. We love its stony exterior with typically French blue wooden shutters, which continues inside. All the interior walls display this fantastic exposed brickwork, with vaulted wooden ceilings and shiny stone floors. When the sun goes down, you can head up to the mezzanine bedroom. Parquet flooring and warm lighting make it feel cosy – perfect for slumbering after a long day of exploring the delights of the town and the coastal region.

The May Rose

A short drive from the city of Montpellier, this villa offers fantastic views and plenty to do. We think it's a great choice for families and friend groups – it's bursting with amenities, including all-terrain bikes, a pétanque court, a heated infinity pool, and a gym and sauna. The dedicated office has a double sofa bed for two guests, and there are two EV chargers here for added convenience. We do recommend hiring a car here to make the most of your stay, whether it's exploring Montpellier or the village of Montferrier-sur-Lez, or spending a day at the beach.

The Spritz

This lovely home can be found in Gruissan, a picturesque town in the south of France. If you’re hoping for white sand beaches and beautiful scenery, this is an excellent choice of location. Best of all, it’s home to this stylish abode. 

This home ticks every box when it comes to fuss-free holiday homes. It’s small but perfectly formed, with a cosy living room that’s the heart of the home. Children will love sleeping on the mezzanine level, where they can have their own space while still being close to the grown-ups. 

The outside space here is sure to win over everyone, though. You’ll have access to the shared swimming pool, which is a dream to dive into on hot, sunny days. You can sunbathe alongside the pool, dipping a toe in every now and then, or choose to soak up the sun on one of two terraces. There’s shade aplenty if you’d rather curl up with a book and a lemonade, too. 

Plage de Matteille is less than a kilometre away, where you can splash in the shallows and build sandcastles. It’s also easy to stroll to the harbour promenade – it’s a lovely way to spend an evening. Hikers will be thrilled to be within reach of the trails up Massif de la Clape, which boasts some spectacular views. There’s something for everyone here.
