Here you’ll find a vibrant seaside community brimming with boutique shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes. And when the day draws to a close, this home provides a cosy retreat – the perfect place to watch the sunset across the horizon. 

The Indigo Blue 

Arrive at this Cornish stone home and find yourself immediately drawn out onto the balcony – overlook the grassy fields straight to the sparkling ocean. With the patio set and barbecue, you’ll probably spend a lot of your holiday out here – it’s hard to pull yourself away from that view. Inside though is nearly as pleasing, white-washed walls and wooden beams complementing a bright space with farmhouse furniture. Prepare breakfast in the decked-out kitchen to enjoy out on the patio before exploring the surrounding town of Marazion, a historic coastal town with an artisan feel and a causeway to the gorgeous St Michael’s Mount. Take a tranquil evening walk along Praa Sands Beach or watch a show at the stunning Minnack Theatre – an open-air theatre jutting out onto the Atlantic sea. 

Wooden Ships

This spacious Cornish seaside cottage looks out over the amazing island of St Michael's Mount. The home will sweep you and your family away with its location perched overlooking the coast, with a living space that opens out directly onto the balcony and expansive views of the ocean. Located in Marazion, Cornwall's oldest town, there are plenty of discoveries to be made. The beaches and rock pools unveiled at low tide are great for the young ones on summer or winter days, while coastal walking options are endless and range from leisurely strolls to challenging half-day hikes. At home, warm your feet by the fire in the cosy living room, enjoy alfresco dining in the enclosed garden and host games sessions well into the night before sleeping soundly in the tranquil bedrooms. If you get the urge to explore further afield, you won't have to travel far before reaching stunning St Ives. Here, you'll join surfers, creatives and food-lovers in this bohemian enclave along Cornwall's rugged north coast that's well worth a visit.

The Mount

A short walk from the pretty harbour, this home couldn't be more typical of Mousehole if it tried. Once declared 'the loveliest village in England' by Dylan Thomas, 'Mowzul' is an ever-popular place to visit with narrow streets lined with historic cottages. Set over three floors, this former fisherman's loft is Grade II listed and has just the right balance of character features and modern, coastal-inspired styling. On the ground floor, a modern, eat-in kitchen provides everything you'll need for cooking at home, while the comfortable living room upstairs has the home's main entrance, an electric fire and a charming window seat. The top floor bedrooms are pretty special and we particularly love the vaulted ceilings and clever internal porthole windows. From the master bedroom, you can even see across to St Clement's Isle and beyond – what could be better? Stroll to the nearby, shops, cafes and restaurants or drive to Lamorna Cove (ten minutes) or Penzance (fifteen minutes).

Stargazy Pie

Out of all the sights in Cornwall, St Michael's Mount is one of the most beautiful. This island community is just off the coast of Marazion, with a medieval church and castle sitting atop its rocky terrain. Just a mile and a half from this striking scene, this house is the ideal base for exploring everything the region has to offer. This sleek, modern apartment is dressed in blue-and-white hues, in a nod to its coastal setting. Sash windows look out to rolling fields and trees, and adorning the walls, you may spy a few pieces that were painted by Cornish artists. But for the strongest connection to the nearby sea and the local area, nothing compares to the beach view from your private patio. You’ll love sitting out here for alfresco dining on a balmy evening, just as much as a wholesome brunch on a bright morning. After a long day of exploring beaches and glorious natural landscapes, curl up with a novel and a tumbler of whisky by the shiny, wood-burning stove (after the kids have gone to bed of course).

Higher Ground

This bright four-story house has been designed with comfort and style in mind. Don’t be fooled by the ultra-modern, white facade; this place still retains a nod to its heritage with exposed stones from the original fisherman's cottage. In summer, light pours through the large windows and the log burner and underfloor heating keeps you cosy in the colder months. A crisp, white background lets the seaside watercolours on the wall speak for themselves and the big kitchen is more than spacious enough for the buzz of family breakfast time. On sunny days, head out to the wooden deck looking out to sea (with an outdoor heater available), or tuck yourself away on the dining terrace for an alfresco seafood feast from the local fishmonger.

The home faces a quiet lane leading to the centre of the bustling and charming town of St. Ives, where you'll find excellent seafood restaurants, cafés, indie galleries and soft-sanded beaches. Enjoy the local Cornish culture with ocean adventures like wild swimming, surfing and paddleboarding, all just a short walk away.

From here, it’s just a short refreshing stroll to the cafes, shops and award-winning restaurants of St Ives. Our highlights include wandering through the Tate Gallery, walking barefoot on the beach and watching the sunset with locals in the harbour. 

The Seadrift

Moments from the bustle of downtown Penzance and set conveniently above an award-winning local fish and chip shop, welcome to this light-filled, breezy getaway with sea views visible at every turn. The apartment has been set up with your needs in mind, and while you won't find the personal possessions and framed family portraits of a lived-in home, it wins top marks for classic English seaside vibes. You have endless coastal walks to choose from, and surfers will be in their element, plus you have excellent seafood dining options nearby. Back at home, the sofa can accommodate the whole team, and low-key luxury and barefoot relaxation are the order of the day, while meals outside allow you to take in the local atmosphere as you people-watch over the promenade. If you'd like to explore further afield, head east to Perranuthnoe Beach, Praa Sands and Porthleven Beach, or south-west to Pedn Vounder Beach and the stunning Minack Theatre – all within a twenty-five-minute drive of your home.

Atlantic Whispers

This traditional Cornish cottage in Marazion with pretty blue shutters is reminiscent of the Mediterranean. It will sweep you off your feet with its location perched above the coast, offering stunning views out onto the deep blue sea. The living space of the home opens directly onto the balcony and unrivalled vistas across the bay. Dine alfresco on the secluded terrace, but be warned it will be difficult to tear yourself away from this picture-perfect spot once you're comfy. Inside, soft furnishings including the muted sofa suite, wooden furniture and a toned-down colour palette create a warm space, ideal for moments of relaxation where you can listen to the soothing sound of the waves crashing in the background. Positioned in Marazion, Cornwall’s oldest town, there are plenty of discoveries to be made here – the beaches at low tide are sublime in summer and even on cold winter days. Coastal hikes are endless and range from those looking to leisurely take in the scenes or commit to a more strenuous hike. Take a trip across the causeway to St. Michael’s Moun and be sure to visit the magical structures of the Bronze Age. With an array, a myriad of innovative eateries choose from, refuel on some proper pub grub on the way back home. 


Copper Spoon

Positioned in a most dramatic fashion, A Beacon Of Light sits on a granite headland on the North Cornish Coast under the watchful eyes of a beautiful, early-twentieth-century lighthouse. Located just six miles north of Land’s End and two miles from St Just, this fantastic coastal position gives guests the opportunity to experience plenty of excitement while basking in the glory of peaceful serenity. With breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean, as well as an abundance of flora and fauna, from seabirds to golden gorse and pink thrift, the sights you see here are second to none. If you’re lucky, you may even wake up to find seals lounging on the rocks below the headland. In that case, be like them, sit out on the patio and let the sound of the crashing waves relax you.

A Beacon Of Light

This apartment is a prime example of when location, design and the space itself dovetail into something really rather remarkable. Behind the front door, the wooden floor, neutral walls and large windows create a bright and inviting interior, with a touch of class added from the building's grand features, such as the arched doorways and high ceilings. The kitchen is both large and modern enough for long dinner parties, while there's also a small games room to keep little ones out of the way for a while. Outside, guests get access to a private courtyard, which has a barbecue for those warm evenings. If the weather's agreeable while you're here, there's no shortage of activities to undertake nearby. Porthkidney Beach is the closest stretch of the seaside — only a quarter of an hour's walk — but there are lots more options within easy driving distance. Tate St Ives only takes fifteen minutes to reach in the car as well.
