And wherever you find yourself in this home, there’s something beautiful to admire. 

From preparing your morning coffee in the kitchen to reading by the window, there’s a warmth and depth to this villa that makes you want to settle in and stay. No doubt the sea views will inspire you to explore – it’s just a short walk to the beach and you’ll find a lovely cafe, deli, pub and wine bar around the quay in Charlestown. And if you feel like exploring the surrounding countryside, the Eden Project and the lost gardens of Heligan are less than a twenty–minute drive away.

And when the sun begins to set over the horizon, you’ll love walking into this charming home – the oak dining table is a special place to gather for a candlelit dinner. 

The Marine Pearl

A Cornish slice of wholesome wellness, this is a peaceful hub of relaxation in a sleepy corner of the county. From the cosy bubble bath to the fire pit, the whole house is designed to put you in a peaceful state of contentment. 

Candles, a bath ledge and a welcome hamper are just a few of the thoughtful touches that make you feel instantly at home. Settle into the light pink sofas in the living room, complemented by the sea of plants that brighten the decor. 

The whole home is decorated in plants and light tones, creating an ambiance of tranquil luxury. Wander outside and the dreamy vibe continues – a wooden terrace is adorned by cute stools, a swinging chair and a warm fire pit. On those warm, carefree evenings, it's an idyllic place to snuggle up with your favourite people.

Once you've fully refreshed the mind and body, you're perfectly set to explore the raw beauty of Cornwall. The vibrant towns of Fowey, Looe and Polperro are just along the coastline, whilst you can reach Crantock and Newquay in a short drive. 

Slice of Wellness

This Grade II listed cottage blends traditional charm with high spec features and unique vintage finds. At the end of a long lawn on a Georgian terrace in the village of Charlestown, you can find peace and seclusion here while being right by the coast. We love the attention to detail: from the antique trinkets in each room, to the adorable cabin bedroom with its raised double bed and Egyptian cotton sheets. The kitchen is kitted out with top standard appliances, and is perfect for whipping up home cooked meals, which can be enjoyed at the al fresco dining table on warmer nights. 

Charlestown is a UNESCO world heritage village, home to glorious Georgian architecture and the Shipwreck Treasure Museum. Along the quay there is a restaurant, pub, deli and antiques shop, or if you prefer, your host can arrange home cooked meals to be delivered to you at the cottage. On warm summer days, the two beaches on either side of the quay are great swimming spots, and the surfing beach of Watergate Bay can be reached in twenty minutes by car. 

Pearl's Treasure

Inspired by the light at Barbara Hepworth’s house in St Ives, the owners have crafted the perfect artist’s studio – a place to retreat, rest and be inspired by the beauty of life.

Tucked behind a Georgian–listed house overlooking the historic harbour of Charlestown, this is a wonderful setting to experience the atmospheric charm of Cornwall. And with its elegant styling and traditional features, there’s a quiet joy to this home that makes you want to settle in and stay. 

You’ll love waking up and stepping into the private garden – this is a lovely spot to feel the refreshing sea breeze as you drink your morning coffee. Inside, the space is sensitively designed to feel intimate and cosy – at night you can hear the calming sound of waves in the distance. 

And when you feel inspired to explore, it’s just a short stroll down to the beach and across the quay to the village. Here you’ll find a lovely pub, restaurant, cafe, deli and antique shop, while other highlights like the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are less than a twenty–minute drive away. 

Pearl in the Sea

Utterly enchanting were our thoughts when we first saw this beautifully renovated Grade II listed Charlestown home – this place is very special indeed. Relax in the lovely, secluded south-facing garden or in the glass-covered courtyard filled with scented jasmine and verdant tree ferns – it's the perfect spot for a glass of Cornish fizz in the evening while doing a bit of star gazing. 

We love the bedroom, which is open to the rafters, as well as its cast-iron freestanding bathtub. On stormy nights, you may even hear the sound of the waves – what a wonderful way to fall asleep.

The following day, help yourself to tea or coffee, and feast on scrumptious Cornish cinnamon buns, provided courtesy of your hosts Antonia and David. They can also deliver oven-ready meals for lunch or dinner. 

If you prefer to eat out, there are an array of tempting restaurants on your doorstep to choose from. Or pop to the deli and take a picnic down to Charlestown Beach, a one-minute stroll away. Other beaches to try in the area include the golden sands of Porthpean, a five-minute drive. For history lovers, the Charlestown Shipwreck and Heritage Centre is a one-minute saunter, or keen hikers can have a walk around Gribben Head, a fifteen-minute drive from this home.



The Enchanted Pearl

Situated a stone's throw from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Charlestown Harbour, this stylish home boasts a location fit for the big screen. With its labyrinth of cobblestone streets and an impressive array of Tall Ships, you might recognise this quaint corner of Cornwall from some swoon-worthy scenes of Poldark. Surrounded by stunning scenery and just a six-minute drive from the bustling town of St Austell, this home provides a tranquil base for exploring the wild, rugged beauty of the South Cornish coast – brooding captain not included.

From the offset, this home charms with its peaceful surroundings. You'll find it tucked away in a tangle of cottages and dense foliage, a two-minute stroll from the historic harbour. Inside, stylishly adorned rooms flaunt floods of natural light, while the open-plan design allows the indoor and outdoor spaces to blend seamlessly. Spend mornings roosted in the courtyard garden, tucking into breakfast in the crisp, seaside air, before slipping out for a day at the beach - the secluded sands of Duporth and Porthpean are both less than a five-minute drive away. After busy days exploring, return to the cosy lounge, cloaked in a soothing cerulean hue, to spend evenings curled up by the warm glow of the wood-burning stove.
