We love this home’s wonderful terrace overlooking the town and Lyme Bay – it’s the perfect place to relax with family and friends. Inside, there’s plenty of room for entertaining and all of the bedrooms are en-suite. There's also an open fire for when the Dorset weather turns chilly. The location is excellent too – this home is in the centre of Lyme Regis, close to pubs, restaurants, cafes, and shops. Take a stroll along the Cobb overlooking the harbour – it’s within walking distance or spend the day on the golden sands of the town’s beach.

The Edwardian

An idyllic coastal retreat awaits at this blue cottage in Lyme Regis. The beach is just a twenty-minute walk away, and the rest of the Jurassic Coast is easily accessible by car. We love the bright and cosy living space back home. It's the ideal remedy after a day in the fresh air – and the glimpse of the sea from the kitchen window is a nice touch. The cherry on top is the enclosed garden, where you and your four-legged friends can enjoy dinner and drinks as the sun goes down.

The Fossil Hunter

Overlooking the Marine Parade, this apartment is a great option if you’re looking to experience the vibrant heart of Lyme Regis. It’s worth noting it’s possible to hear street noise from the neighbouring bar, but you will have incredible sea views from the cosy living room. A car parking permit can be supplied on request. Plus, you’ll find everything you could need within easy reach. Stroll to the beach or adventure further along the Jurassic Coast towards Sidmouth and Axminster. 

The Way by the Sea

Perfect for a couple’s seaside retreat, you’ll find this first-floor pad in the heart of Lyme Regis. And while it is tailor-made for two, the home can accommodate up to four people – just bear in mind, at full occupancy two guests will draw the short straw and sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. Still, it’s a small price to pay for this apartment’s enviable location. With museums, shops, delightful eateries and the beach on your doorstep, there’s something for everyone here.

Beyond the cottage's verdant grounds, it's only a short drive to the beaches of Lyme Regis, as well as the amazing topography of the Jurassic Coast.

Set on the popular Marine Parade in Lyme Regis, this home is an ideal base for a small family or group of friends. You’ll need to take care with the steps and uneven ground here, and because of the desirable location, you may hear a little noise during your stay. But, we think you’ll be too busy soaking up the fresh sea air to notice. The key thing that caught our eye here is the secret passageway to the beach – so stroll down to the sea, after which, a plethora of beachfront eateries await ready to serve up an authentic coastal dinner. 

Fossil Finder

The Jurassic Coast is nearly on your doorstep at this cosy cottage in Charmouth. A great option for families, the open-plan living area has relaxation written all over it. It's a traditional townhome spread across three storeys, so expect steep stairs – especially the set leading up to the top-floor twin bedroom. The fireplace is ideal for chilly evenings, while the private garden is perfect for sundowners at dusk. Keen to dip your toes in the sea? Charmouth Beach is a ten-minute walk away. Or jump in the car and explore all Dorset has to offer.

Collecting Curios

After spending your time gazing at geological phenomena and prehistoric intrigues of the Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis makes for a wonderful base to return back to the 21st century. This charming town has bustling high streets, independent boutiques, cafés, and a microbrewery where you can sample local English ales. But it’s not a complete escape from nature either – just a minute walk from this quaint cottage, you’ll also find the sandy shores of Lyme Regis beach.

Full of character inside and out, arriving here is exactly the English seaside abode you’d imagine. With cream walls alongside a bright blue front door and matching sash window frames, a nautical theme immediately springs to mind.

Inside this traditional building, the fresh, modern decor makes you feel immediately relaxed. We love the earthy palette of peach, cream, dark brown wooden floors, and a moss-coloured sofa. Wicker pieces and textures bring a sandy look, offering another reminder of your coastal setting. Further nods to the nautical theme are found throughout the cosy cottage, with anchors, captain’s wheels, and a glossy shoal of decorative fish bringing the seaside to life.
