With its wonderful white–washed facade, aged windows and brown front door with shrubs to either side, from the outside, this home is a picture–perfect haven steeped in rural charm. A backdrop of sprawling, perfectly–manicured lawns and verdant trees make the setting all the more picturesque, meanwhile the lovely little garden area serves up the ideal spot to privately soak up the sparkling Devonshire rays.

The outside of this home is enough to tug on our heartstrings, but as we meander our way from room to room, we can't help but become more enamoured with the place. Cute and cosy with a winning mixture of classic and contemporary touches, we love the fact that in spite of some of its more modern updates, the home has retained all of its classic charm. The natural wooden doors instantly add to that warm, welcoming appeal, meanwhile the addition of skylight windows invite the sunlight to stream its way inside.

Each and every nook and cranny tells its own unique story, but if you ask us, the real heart of this home is the living area. With a traditional log burner at its centre and leather sofa just waiting to be sunk into, we can already see ourselves curling up here as dusk settles with a large glass of red and some rich chocolate truffles – heaven!

And, on balmy afternoons, you'll love making the most of the large landscaped garden and patio, complete with an alfresco dining area. 

Beer Beach is just a short stroll away, and there are plenty of other hidden coves dotted along the coastline for you to explore. Walkers can lace up their boots and join the epic South West Coastal Path to soak up the amazing scenery. Located in Paignton, this home is only a short walk from many great activities including Paignton Beach – a nineteen-minute walk away – where you will find the pier, the Geopark, a fairy cove, pirates bay adventure golf, and even a multiplex cinema perfect for those typical rainy British days. What’s more, Splashdown water park is a short nine-minute walk away and Torbay Leisure Centre – with its pool, gym and squash courts – is reachable in twelve minutes on foot.

Your little ones will love letting off steam in the home’s large, enclosed garden too, with the kid's swing, trampoline, treehouse, football goal and pirate boat. Meanwhile, you can relax on the garden bench with a good book or enjoy an afternoon Devonshire cream tea alfresco at the outdoor dining area. 

When it’s time to come indoors, head from the decked veranda through the French doors into the living space. Puzzle together or watch a movie and when you’re ready to retire, do yourself a favour and make one more stop outside – finish a cup of chamomile tea under the stars – you might hear some of the local owls hooting – and then take to the comfortable bed to recharge for the next day.
