Situated on the ever appealing Kensington High Street, this two-bedroom apartment marries a premium location with good space and home comforts. Just a stone's throw from the Design Museum and the verdant squirrel haven of Holland Park, guests will have plenty to explore in the affluent local area, while the nearby District and Circle Line station offers excellent underground routes around Central London. While the bathroom is located across the apartment from the bedrooms, meaning you might have to skitter through the living room after your shower, there's lots to like about this brightly lit home that's ideal for couples on a double date city break.

The Kensingtonian

Close to the River Thames in London’s leafy Fulham, this beautiful apartment offers comfort, class and a prime position from which to explore the city away from the tourist crowds. 

Laid out over two floors, you’ll find plenty of space in which to relax and socialise, whether in the bright living area over mugs of tea and stimulating conversation or around the kitchen’s farmhouse-style dining table as you tuck into a delicious homemade meal – that is when you’re not out sampling the many upmarket restaurants in your neighbourhood. Best of all, you’ve got a serene private garden to enjoy – the ideal spot for alfresco breakfasts and celebratory sundowners when the weather is balmy. 

As for the bedrooms, these are just as chic with comfy beds and a pared-back, classical aesthetic that will help you drift off in no time. Factor in the bathtubs that beckon luxurious soaks after a day of ambling the city, and you’ve got everything you need for a perfectly blissful stay. 

Outside of your home, an easy walk across nearby Putney Bridge will bring you to Putney High Street which has a wide range of shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants, while Craven Cottage – home to Fulham F.C. – buzzes with the excitement of fans on game days. You’re also within easy reach of Fulham Palace and Bishop’s Park, while the fun and vibrancy of Central London are easily accessible by public transport. 


Eden Ever After

Nestled between Fulham and Hammersmith, this apartment puts the River Thames at your fingertips. Though tucked away from the hustle and bustle in central London, you'll find pubs, shops, and eateries nearby – plus a Tube station is fifteen minutes away for adventures further afield. The apartment is set over the first and second levels, so there's a decent amount of space to get cosy. Unwind with a book in the living area, rustle up a meal in the kitchen, or relax in the three comfortable bedrooms (one of which is ideal for little ones). The cherry on top is the private garden, the perfect spot to spend summer evenings.

Teal & Velvet

This penthouse home caught our eye for its private balcony with views of the London Skyline. Located in a quiet street in sought-after Holland Park, the open-plan living area is well set up for socialising. And the floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can enjoy the cityscape from inside as well as out. You’ll find parks, cafes, and restaurants on the doorstep, and with three Tube stations within walking distance, popping into central London is a breeze. We think this penthouse pad is a great choice for a stylish group getaway.

Penthouse in the Capital

With a fabulous location in Kensington and a stylish interior that'll make you feel right at home, this apartment is comfortable and bright. Set over two floors, it's all about modern furnishings and geometric patterns. We love the living room, with its twin sash windows and cosy lime green sofas, along with the contemporary kitchen with everything you'll need for cooking at home and a smart dining table. Upstairs, each bedroom comes with a luxurious ensuite and there are views across the rooftops. With two tube stations within a five-walk, it's easy to get around the city from here, but if you're staying a little closer to home there are all sorts of great places to eat and drink on your doorstep. And The Natural History Museum, Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Palace are within walking distance.

Geometricity

This family home is all substance and style in a trendy western suburb of London. First of all, we love the book-filled living room with ming vases and object d’art adding a personal feel to the forest-green dresser. Big windows bathe this place in natural light. There’s a desk in here (and another in the second bedroom) for those that need to work remotely, and a collection of wines on display for a post-work wind-down. 

A wall of glass doors leads to the private patio garden, providing a lovely sun spot for those wishing to sit out and unwind long into the balmy summer evenings. Back inside, the dine-in kitchen is bright and sunny and the bathroom has a tub for a soak at the end of the day.

In terms of neighbourhood, you’re in leafy-green Chiswick – an affluent area with a friendly village-like feel, offering elegant eateries and a whole plethora of classy cafés and designer boutiques along the High Road. A fifteen-minute walk across the Kew Bridge sees you at the sprawling botanic gardens, while you can join the Thames River Path for a traffic-free stroll or cycle in just five minutes (your host kindly provides two bicycles for guest use). Hop on the Tube at Kew Bridge, a five-minute walk away, and be in the centre of London in around fifteen minutes. 

The Patio Garden

Close to upmarket Kensington and bohemian Notting Hill is the charming area of Brook Green. Known for its village atmosphere, period architecture and excellent transport links (Hammersmith, Goldhawk Road and Shepherds Bush stations are all within walking distance), this pocket of West London suits families, business travellers and those craving a quieter neighbourhood. Yet it's still close to excellent restaurants, cosy gastropubs, green spaces and plenty of shopping, with Westfield London (fifteen-minute stroll), Kensington High Street (twenty-minute walk) and Holland Park (thirty minutes on foot) all just a stone's throw away. This bright apartment in a picturesque mansion is the perfect place to rest your feet and recharge after a long day exploring. The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you'll need to rustle up a meal, while the cosy living area has a comfortable sofa, Freeview channels and DVD player for chilled nights at home. There's also a desk if you need to do some remote working, though we'd probably get distracted watching the world pass by outside the window. But our favourite feature is the sumptuous rolltop bath. We can't think of a better way to end the day than with a glass of wine, a good book and a relaxing soak. Pure bliss.

The Wandering Scholar

This modern apartment is a lovely pick for small groups seeking a spot outside of Central London. There's complimentary tea and coffee to enjoy, ideal for itinerary planning in the open-concept living space. While the dressing table can double as a little desk, the bedroom clothing rails call for light packing. Nearby bus stops will help you get around Hammersmith and Fulham. Plus, you're about a thirty-minute walk from Shepherd’s Bush Market Station, promising excellent train links across the city.

London Delight

This regal apartment situated in the heart of London’s elegant Holland Park is a rare gem, offering its guests a chance to stay in one of the most desirable areas of the capital. And while there’s plenty to explore in the vicinity, we won’t blame you if you find it hard to pull yourself away from your urban abode. 

Spread across two floors, the place offers both minimalist simplicity and carefully designed finesse, seamlessly blending together to create a warm and welcoming interior. We love the light-filled living room, with its plush sofas, gorgeous bookshelves and unique art pieces scattered about. Snuggle up and enjoy a relaxing evening of movies and wine in the company of your loved ones. 

You’ll be able to put together tasty meals in the modern kitchen and share them at the small dining table – that is unless you decide to head out and try one of the countless fantastic restaurants in the area. 

Get a good night’s sleep in the comfy bedrooms and wake up feeling gloriously refreshed and ready to head out and experience London living. With Notting Hill and Kensington just a short distance away, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to iconic sights and exciting city attractions to explore. 

The Sleeping Prince 

Sleek and modern, this apartment is a great fit for families or small groups of friends in search of a city bolthole. Slide across the bi-folding doors and open up the living area to your private outside space, creating the perfect layout for socialising. You'll find everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a bright desk space for working remotely. It's worth noting that the twin single beds can be converted into a super-king-sized bed upon request. The home is also short on wardrobe space, so pack light. Location-wise, you're less than a twenty-five-minute walk from Westfield Shopping Centre, while the Stamford Brook Tube station lies just thirteen minutes away on foot. 

Black Jack

Be prepared to be amazed by this stunning architectural design and aesthetic, painting the perfect picture of twentieth-century West London glamour in one of the city's most sought-after postcodes. 

Beyond its striking red brick front and pretty porch, you'll find a home that blends notes of traditional English grandeur with seamless modern living. Settle down in the cosy sitting area with period features and latte-coloured parquet flooring, or prepare meals in a sleek kitchen with crisp white interiors and a divinely-appointed dining area. 

Here, the standout glass ceilings, skylights and Crittall-style walls invite abundant natural light into the communal area, which extends out to your private and beautifully-kept back garden. It's a great space for large families or groups of friends looking to spend quality time. 

Elsewhere, you'll find four pared-back bedrooms and three marble bathrooms – two of which benefit from swish standalone tubs, adding that extra level of luxury to your morning scrub. Spin off last night's dinner in the exercise room or, better still, cosy up in the TV room and project your favourite movies for a relaxing afternoon together.
