The private rooftop terrace – just the spot for an evening tipple. Locally, spend your Sundays strolling around Columbia Road Flower Market, stopping off at independent shops, trendy eateries and craft beer bars en route – there’s something for everyone here. 

Shoreditch Sojourn

This stylish apartment has a prestigious location in Shoreditch, in a landmark building designed by the renowned architects Foster + Partners. We love the ensuite bathroom, beautifully finished with marble. The open-plan living space is flooded with lots of natural light with large windows overlooking London. However, the absolute highlights here for us are the indoor lap pool and spa – perfect for relaxing after a busy day. There's also a residents' lounge, a state-of-the-art gym, and a cinema, so there's plenty to keep you occupied.

If all this wasn't enough, this home has a fabulous address. It's a twelve-minute walk to East London Tech City, otherwise known as Silicon Roundabout, while Spitalfields Market is a four-minute saunter. With its public gardens, bars, and restaurants, Hoxton Square is a seven-minute wander, or art lovers can head to the Barbican Arts Centre, seventeen minutes away on foot.

Though you can explore all of London in no time at all from nearby Bermondsey tube station, don't miss your chance to enjoy the local area too. Maltby Street Market is a South London must-visit, where you can browse the stalls before sipping a G&T in a historic pub overlooking the Thames.

With many iconic London hotspots within walking distance, such as the British Museum, the Royal Opera House, Leicester Square and Soho, there’s plenty to keep you entertained while you’re away. And for trips further afield, Holborn Station is a mere three minutes on foot.

Superbly located for a London break, this apartment is in a boutique development in Bermondsey. It overlooks a church and gardens on a quiet leafy street, close to restaurants, galleries, and transport links – you only need to walk two minutes to hop on the Jubilee line. It’s a modern home-from-home, comfortable and convenient. We love the floor-to-ceiling windows in the open-plan living and dining space, which leads to an integrated kitchen. There’s a desk for those working remotely. This is an adults-only home. 

Bermondsey Blue

Set opposite leafy Southwark Park, this home might feel like a secluded, albeit ultra luxurious, treehouse, but it’s actually located in a central area of buzzing London. The very definition of the phrase ‘best of both worlds’, this home puts you within very close distance to tourist attractions without compromising on the tranquillity of the space. When you’re after a bit of R&R, sink into the sofa with a good book, or meditate out on the balcony. Roll out your mat in the lounge after you’ve opened the bi-fold doors and practice yoga with only the rustling leaves and twittering birds for company. 

Zipping around London is easily done by public transport or taxi and it shouldn’t take you more than twenty minutes to get to some of the best spots. See the Tower of London, or watch the guard change at Buckingham Palace. If you’re in the mood for some more luxury, cruise down the Thames with a glass of champagne. There are also plenty of galleries, museums, and restaurants to be enjoyed, but don’t forget to head down to the most quintessentially British place possible – the pub.

We're talking London Bridge, The Shard (the capital’s tallest building), the historic Borough Market and the River Thames. Add to this, plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars, and you have the perfect location.

Here at Plum Guide, we love a bit of industrial chic, and this apartment certainly doesn't disappoint. There are exposed beams, stripped-back brick walls and a sleek kitchenette hidden by rolling-back wooden doors.
 

 Pour a glass of wine and relax on the yellow armchair or comfy sofa, surrounded by vibrant art. Through the Crittall-style doors, you'll find the main bedroom with its super king-sized bed. The second bedroom has a retro record player, so put some vinyl on and unwind before heading out for the evening.
