The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space is bright and welcoming, with a contemporary minimalist style. Factor in air-conditioning and underfloor heating, and it's no surprise that this is a comfortable base in central London. 

Sophisticated London

This minimalist apartment is perfect for guests looking for a convenient base in central London. The apartment is on a quiet street just off Shaftesbury Avenue, between Covent Garden and Holburn. You’ll be just a short walk from Holburn tube station and within walking distance of the West End and many other popular London spots. The location is undoubtedly the main draw here, but the apartment is plenty appealing. It’s comfortable and modern, with everything you might need for a city break – though two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room.

Maybe you’ll spend your mornings sipping an espresso on the balcony or perhaps you’ll sprawl out in the trendy living space as the appointed chef of your group knocks up a tasty breakfast in the sleek kitchen. When you’re ready to explore, the best of the city is on your doorstep. You’re a ten-minute walk from the bustling Covent Garden, fifteen minutes to the heart of Soho and twenty-five minutes due east to Smithfield Market. Plus, you’re only a four-minute stroll to Tottenham Court tube station should you wish to tick off London’s thirty-two boroughs. 

Russell the Great

Business travellers will appreciate the desk, and the fully-equipped kitchen will undoubtedly come in handy for preparing quick meals – perhaps before a night out in the West End. While there's plenty of entertainment within walking distance, you're just ten minutes away from Covent Garden tube station, opening up the rest of the capital to your enjoyment.

City Theatre

The location of this London apartment is so upmarket that there are five Michelin-starred restaurants within a five-minute walk and the nearest place to do a breakfast run is Fortnum & Mason. Oh, and The Ritz is just around the corner. Where else but Mayfair? For such a glamorous area, this home is a suitably luxurious place to stay. There's definitely a less-is-more approach to the interior, but when the fittings are this swish and the furniture such high-quality, sometimes it pays off to be a little restrained. We especially liked the large ceiling window in the dining room, which floods this space with natural light and makes it an ideal setting for a dinner party. Though saying that, with so many celebrated restaurants so close by, we would forgive you for not going anywhere near the kitchen during your time here.

The Regal Albemarle II

Plant yourself right in the middle of London’s greatest entertainment district for a first-hand experience of this cultural capital. Minutes away from the famous Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and Soho, what's a morning commute on the tube at rush hour compared to stepping straight out onto the lively high street? This is city living at its most literal. No trip is made too difficult and no sight need to be left unticked off your bucket list. Whilst there is so much fun to be had outside, this flat does not neglect the idea that work may still call. A big dining table allows you to dedicate some workspace to answer those all-important emails and a coffee machine is ready and set up to keep you energised. Spanning the length of the stylish monochrome-tinged living space, large glass windows can be opened up and bring the city up to you, with the faint buzz of pedestrians bustling down below. Its modern and chic design, sporting clean black lines, white cabinets, and splashes of colour truly offers the metropolitan lifestyle of an archetypal, young professional here in the big city. 

Central Walkabout

Enviably located in the heart of upmarket Fitzrovia, this apartment is just an eight-minute walk from Regent’s Park and ten minutes from Goodge Street tube station, putting you within easy reach of London’s most famous attractions. The place is well-appointed with everything you need for self-catering, guaranteeing a comfortable home-from-home for a solo traveller or couple. And to make your arrival all the more welcoming, your host provides complimentary toiletries and a welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits.

Gilded Nights 

Live out your literary dreams in this bright and airy apartment, twice lived in by famed novelist, Charles Dickens. Centrally located in the vibrant Fitzrovia, this apartment is a sleek city base with a storied history.

Slide open the sash windows and enjoy your morning coffee at the large wooden table, or if you’re in need of a quick fix before heading out, the sleek stone-surfaced kitchen is perfect for whipping up a quick bite. It must be said, however, with London’s roster of restaurants you’ll have to fight yourself to stay in, even for breakfast.

Amble your way around Soho, popping into The Photographer’s Gallery and Sadie Coles before grabbing lunch at Koya for chewy udon noodles and beer-braised pork belly. Spend the rest of the afternoon in and out of shops in Covent Garden, we like Tenderbooks for their archive collections and Dover Street Market for sartorial browsing. Wind down in the evening at Duck Soup for a glass of natural wine and your pick of the seasonal menu. As night falls, wander through the buzzy streets back to your novelist’s hideout.   

A Literary Abode

Being located on a street famous for its tailoring, it's fitting this home is so smartly curated and most importantly, comfortable. Just like a good suit the home has been impeccably finished. A two-tone linen corner sofa and honey-coloured oak flooring are a couple of the features that caught our eye. The large, private rooftop is a real boon and rarity in such a central location.

Durward Grand

This striking London penthouse is bold, glamorous, and brilliantly located. Soaring ceilings and exposed brick walls bring drama to the open-plan living space, while the mezzanine level, glass staircase, and curated interiors add a touch of theatre. Step out onto your private roof terrace, mix a drink at the bar, and enjoy a slice of tranquillity among the rooftops. You’re tucked right between Covent Garden and Leicester Square, with the buzz of the West End all around – but it stays surprisingly peaceful inside. The two smaller bedrooms are compact, but they’re cosy for a good night’s rest. With its unbeatable location and unforgettable design, this is a one-of-a-kind London stay.

Follow the good feelings all the way to this apartment in the heart of Soho. Formerly the home of a creative, today it’s a stylish sanctuary with all the comforts you could need for a relaxing break. Welcome goodies are provided to help get your stay off to a sweet start. There’s a sofa bed for two guests in the living room and there’s plenty of space to work, cook and unwind with a movie. Outside, you can wander to local boutiques and incredible restaurants. It’s just a short stroll to Covent Garden and Oxford Street, while the close proximity to Tottenham Court Road station makes it easy to explore further afield.
