In the open-concept living-kitchen area, light flows through the space thanks to windows on either end. The design is definitely Scandi in influence — clock the clean lines and preference for wood surfaces — but the abstract artwork stops it from feeling too identikit. Come evening, fix up a round of drinks in the sociable island kitchen to enjoy out on your private patio area, fitted with garden furniture and billowing plants, pre-dinner drinks go down a treat here. When you're feeling peckish, head to Covent Garden for a delicious gourmet meal at one of the many dazzling international restaurants, less than a twelve-minute walk from home.

The home itself is beautifully decorated – it’s all sharp corners, sleek design, luxurious furnishings, and the odd jewel tone or pastel pop for a spot of colour and character. The owners have also filled the apartment with original art, lending the home a more personal touch that just can’t be replicated. Plus a dedicated concierge service means there’s no need to worry about anything during your stay here.

Set right in a central location, this apartment in Leicester Square is perfect for visitors who want to waste no time reaching London’s landmarks. The streets of Soho, the hustle of Leicester Square, and the landmark of Trafalgar Square are practically within touching distance. 

Thanks to the apartment's layout, the two modern and cosy bedrooms are at the back of the building, making them extra quiet for a peaceful sleep in hotel-quality beds before another jaunt out in the city. In fact, we found it almost shocking just how quiet the flat is for the location, made even more ambient by the sleek white design. 

The famous Regent street is only a ten–minute's walk away too, we absolutely love the gems you can find in the shops. Sore feet after long days out shopping? Wash off in a waterfall shower, let the blackout shades down, and pop on some Netflix before doing it all over again the next day.

This Mayfair apartment is ideal for those who desire as central an address as possible in London without sacrificing stylish interiors or having the comforts of modern living at hand. You might think it's asking a lot, but this home delivers on all fronts. There's a huge amount of space here, with the expansive open-plan living area and kitchen an innately social place for guests to gather, while the bedrooms each have an en-suite and tons of storage space. The decor is simple but effective — the herringbone parquet flooring works nicely with the glistening white kitchen and mid-century furniture. And that's before we even get to the local area that's overflowing with luxe attractions, from Michelin-starred restaurants and fine art dealers to the age-old loveliness of Green Park, just a five-minute walk away.

From this traditionally-minded yet well-maintained Mayfair apartment, there's a little taste of luxury in every direction. To your east is Liberty department store and there are further designer shopping options to your north on Bond Street. Head south and in two minutes, you could be on Savile Row, while wandering further west along these embassy-lined streets will get you to Grosvenor Square. However, despite this unbeatable location, we found this home to be extremely peaceful and a welcome refuge from the non-stop going-ons of Central London. The chic kitchen was a highlight here, with smart brass finishes contrasting nicely with honeycomb marble tiling, but let's not kid ourselves — with this many renowned restaurants only a short stroll away, don't be surprised if this home's oven remains undisturbed during the duration of your stay.

Enviably located in the heart of upmarket Fitzrovia, this apartment is just an eight-minute walk from Regent’s Park and ten minutes from Goodge Street tube station, putting you within easy reach of London’s most famous attractions. We also love how open and sociable the living space, dining area and kitchen are, creating a lovely spot to hang out, show off new purchases or host your very own dinner party. Last, but certainly not least, the real highlight of this home is access to your private rooftop patio – we can think of nothing better than a balmy evening spent out here wining and dining to your heart's content. Although, with Soho's finest restaurants, hip bars and lively clubs right on your doorstep, you may end up eating out most nights. Walk to illustrious Covent Garden in less than ten minutes for a dazzling array of spots serving critically acclaimed international cuisine. Of course, you're in London's thriving theatre district, so why not bookmark the break with a trip to one of the brilliant West End shows nearby.

London locations don’t come more central than this. Slap bang in the middle of the capital’s vibrant West End, you’ve got theatres, shops, and galleries galore on the doorstep. And with Soho, Oxford Street, and Regent Street all within walking distance, you won’t even need to hop on the nearby Tube unless you want to explore further afield. While the home itself is compact, it has everything you’ll need for a fuss-free stay. At full capacity, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area, but seeing as you’ll probably spend most of your time out and about, this shouldn’t be a problem.

West End Whirl

A stone's throw from Covent Garden and Shaftesbury Avenue, this third-floor apartment is the definition of central. You couldn't ask for a better base for sightseeing – most of London's main attractions are a short walk or quick Tube ride away. Back home, there's a vintage living area with a sofa bed for guests three and four. You’ll also find a compact kitchen and a comfortable bedroom here. That said, the star attraction is undoubtedly the terrace. Bursting with potted plants and an outdoor sofa, it's the ideal spot to unwind with a glass of wine in hand and West End views on the horizon.

If you want to stay in central London, it doesn't get much more central than staying next to Trafalgar Square. And if you want to stay in a home with an unusual history, it doesn't get much more unusual than staying in a former members’ club in a Norwegian embassy. This unique home is striking from the offset – those wood-panelled walls and chunky beams are even more jaw-dropping in real life. This rich wood brings warmth to the space, with modern art and classy upholstery adding twenty-first century elegance to the original interiors. As you’re up on the fifth floor, you can catch some sights of London from the window, as well as having easy access to them on the ground. The St James’s area is small but mighty – home to grand buildings, some of the city’s most famous attractions, and just a short walk from a wild night out in Soho. Charing Cross tube is a few minutes away on foot, plus you'll casually pass by Nelson’s Column and the National Gallery en route from your home. Although the bars and restaurants of the city are on your doorstep, we can’t think of anything better than ending the evening with a gin and tonic in your gorgeous wooden lounge. Cheers to that.
