The dining table doubles as a desk if work is on the agenda. But if you're in town for some adventure, there's plenty to excite you in the area. Camden Lock Market, hip eateries, and the area's famous nightlife are all within walking distance. Factor in the convenient transport links – the station is right down the road – and we think it's a winner.

Iron & Glass

Experience the buzz and excitement of Central London from this chic apartment located in the heart of Covent Garden. A wonderful base for those looking to be within easy walking distance of some of the city’s best sights, this home is as comfortable as it is stylish with its wood floors, contemporary furnishings and ample natural light. We love the sociable open-plan layout of the main living room and the kitchen’s glossy white cabinetry that makes the space sparkle. The window-side dining table is all set to host intimate soirées beneath the fashionable pendant feature lighting while the sofa is where you’ll want to kick up your feet with a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. With a pared-back yet elegant bedroom as well as a glitzy en-suite to boot, you’re all set for a care-free relaxing stay. Outside of your home, Covent Garden Market is a one-minute walk away, bustling Leicester Square is a three-minute stroll and Soho’s eclectic bars and shops are just fourteen minutes away on foot. 


A Pendant In Time

Bright and colourful, this trendsetting apartment is the perfect spot to take a well-earned break. Stepping in to look around the decor, you'll notice the eclectic artwork, vibrant scatter cushions and chic wood-framed sofa. But it's the little things that we really love about this cosy home – from the curated plants to the welcome hamper treats and breakfast tray – the place calls out comfort and a keen eye for detail. Find a sunny spot by the window to catch up on literature, play games and generally kick back. Upstairs, you'll find a stylish bedroom with pops of orange, a quirky painting and vintage radio. Located in the leafy borough of Canonbury, once home to George Orwell, you will be within easy reach of Essex Road, Highbury & Islington and Shoreditch. Take the sixteen-minute tube ride to hipper-than-hip Shoreditch High Street, discovering fashionable boutiques, trendy bars and artisan coffee shops. Out and about or snuggled up indoors, any day is made better bookmarked with a long soak in the swanky bathtub.  

The Ginger Meggs

We’re big fans of this apartment’s crisp, contemporary interiors and lengthy private balcony, but its Hackney location is the real standout. Overlooking a quiet corner of Haggerston Park (perfect for morning jogs), yet within walking distance of Shoreditch's action, you've got the best of both worlds. Here for sightseeing? Hoxton Overground Station is only ten minutes away on foot, giving you easy access to the rest of the city. Planning a longer stay? The made-for-action kitchen makes home cooking simple for quiet nights in, and the bedroom desk setup is ideal for working remotely.

A Parkside View

Bursting with sunlight and high ceilings, this apartment is a real gem. It's set on the first floor of a Grade II-listed building, offering more than enough space for a couple. Stacked bookshelves provide entertainment when you're not out and about, while the dining table by the sash window makes a great spot to work from home. As for location, you'll be based on a tree-lined street in leafy Islington. Shops, pubs and cafes on Upper Street are a five-minute walk away. Or, for adventures further afield, Highbury and Islington Station is less than ten minutes on foot.

The Islington Rose

A little green hiding place in East London, this vintage-lovers paradise manages to mix thrift shop finds with high-end necessities. It’s a sweet spot that feels homely but certainly doesn’t scrimp on quality or comfort. You’ll be sharing the space with an impressive collection of houseplants, but that’s part of its charm. We love the well-equipped kitchen in miniature and the deep, dark blue of the Victorian bathroom, complete with a claw foot bath for taking a long soak. Pop on the Bluetooth Marshall amp or record player, and enjoy some time away from the busy streets of the capital. Outside, there’s a small but no-less-welcome terrace, which brings a tiny bit of nature into the breathable living space. Located in a lively and interesting part of the city, with the weekly Chatsworth Road Market on your doorstep, there’s plenty to explore, including a host of indy shops and eateries. And it’s only a ten-minute walk to Homerton overground station or twenty minutes to Hackney Central if you fancy seeing what else London has to offer. 

Retro Oasis

When you're sitting amidst the earthy tones and quiet calmness of the garden, you won't believe you're in the City of London. The idyllic space has a relaxed serenity that belies its central location. 

Spend cosy mornings here with a coffee, slowly waking up with the city around you. In the evenings, fire up the BBQ and gather around the cute table, sharing bites of grilled burgers and bottles of crisp wine. 

When the weather's not on your side, move into the chic style of your home. The earthy palette continues throughout the open plan living room and kitchen – light, brown shades mingle with the pure white tones on the walls and kitchen counter. 

There's even paintings of floral and natural themes – alongside a catalogue of plants –  to further the earthy energy. A sofa and straw chair present cosy places to relax, or you can perch at the breakfast bar with a selection of toast and jams. 

For more intimate dining, share snacks and a bottle of wine on the circular dining table. But, since you're so close to various pubs, bars and restaurants, you may as well sample the local joints. We suggest the pretty pubs and bars around St Katharine's Docks for good food with a picturesque view.


Coming of Age

This elegant apartment boasts a splendid setting in central London, just a short walk from King’s Cross. It’s ideal for a family, a group of friends, or business travellers – you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. This apartment is stylish and practical, with an integrated kitchen in the open-plan living and dining space. There’s also a wraparound balcony where you can admire London skyline views in warm weather. This attractive London home is perfect for those seeking a restful London base. 

Subtle & Soft

Behind a beautifully renovated townhouse facade lies an interior that is bright and beautiful in equal measures. The living room has the feel of a contemporary art gallery, with high ceilings, parquet flooring and striking pieces on the wall. Although saying that, we haven't been to a gallery with such cute pastel-pink, tufted furnishings. 

The kitchen is just as striking, thanks to the large windows, the flurry of house plants and handsome marble surfaces. So striking in fact, that we crowned it 'kitchen of the year' on Instagram. As well as letting in copious amounts of natural light, the French door also leads out to a charming garden space with some seating for warm evenings. 

Upstairs, the bedrooms are both large and equipped with regal beds, while there's even a balcony space looking out over the rooftops of East London and the distant skyscrapers in The City. However, you don't even have to go far to find things to do in the neighbourhood. Just around the corner, there's the Castle Cinema — an Art Deco building reopened after a local crowdfunding campaign — and Chatsworth Market, which runs every Sunday with a great range of independent stalls.

The Knowledge

This stylish apartment has a prestigious location in Shoreditch, in a landmark building designed by the renowned architects Foster + Partners. We love the ensuite bathroom, beautifully finished with marble. The open-plan living space is flooded with lots of natural light with large windows overlooking London. However, the absolute highlights here for us are the indoor lap pool and spa – perfect for relaxing after a busy day. There's also a residents' lounge, a state-of-the-art gym, and a cinema, so there's plenty to keep you occupied.

If all this wasn't enough, this home has a fabulous address. It's a twelve-minute walk to East London Tech City, otherwise known as Silicon Roundabout, while Spitalfields Market is a four-minute saunter. With its public gardens, bars, and restaurants, Hoxton Square is a seven-minute wander, or art lovers can head to the Barbican Arts Centre, seventeen minutes away on foot. 




City Vistas

If you’re in search of a relaxing haven in the heart of Hackney, this warehouse apartment delivers a peaceful solution. Tucked away on the top floor, you’ll be welcomed by a calm open-plan design and plenty of home comforts. There’s a raised meditation and yoga zone to fill your day with positive energy and plenty of work space for digital nomads. You’ll also have a little balcony – perfect for a morning coffee or evening drinks. From here, it’s a short walk to Walthamstow Marshes and the nearest amenities in Clapton. It’s also just a short walk to the nearest bus stop – making it easy to explore further airfield.

Find Your Flow 

This is a soulful space for those after a more alternative place to stay when they're visiting the UK's capital. Part of a converted former piano factory, the interior is instantly uplifting thanks to the array of bold modern artwork, statement wallpaper and house plants dotted about. You can tell it's been put together by somebody with an artistic disposition. It's up on the second floor with views from the Juliet balconies over the rooftops of Stoke Newington, a quiet neighbourhood with a great village vibe. If you want to explore, the host has left their Dutch bike and guests are free to borrow it. Alternatively, you can rent her car, which is parked in the on-site car park. Clissold Park is only two minutes' walk up the road and is home to a small deer farm. Likewise, Church Street takes only six minutes to reach on foot and offers cosy restaurants, traditional boozers and vintage shops.
