Spanning two floors of a converted warehouse building, this central Camden maisonette offers upside-down living at its best. Upstairs, there’s a sleek, open-plan living space, all flooded with natural light. While downstairs, there are two king-sized bedrooms with heaps of storage space. Sharing with friends? Then you’ll appreciate the two separate bathrooms for a bit more privacy. Location-wise, the expansive Regent’s Park and the panoramic views from Primrose Hill are just a short distance away for dog walks (four-legged friends are welcome here, too). And even closer, Camden’s market and High Street for all the London buzz you’re chasing. Need to be somewhere fast? Camden Underground Station is right around the corner.

Camden Edge

One of the really great things about Buttercream is its location right by Hyde Park. It’s seriously well-connected too, with Bayswater and Queensway tube station both minutes from your front door. While the design of the home may be a little too minimalistic for some, it’s clean and modern with a great, recently renovated kitchen and a modern, marble bathroom. We also loved how quiet the home was, despite the busy surrounding area.

Buttercream

Tucked away in a charming cobbled mews in Marylebone, this elegant home is a refined retreat in the heart of central London. It’s in a peaceful neighbourhood between Hyde Park and Regent’s Park, with Marble Arch Tube station a short walk away. Spread over three floors, this splendid home boasts an inviting living and dining space and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom one has a home office area and a spa-like en-suite bathroom, perfect after a busy day in the city. While babies are welcome here, children are only accepted on request.

A Classic Collection

So close to Hampstead Heath, we could almost list it as the back garden of this enchanting 1920s block. While the fabric of this art deco home might be outwardly simple in design, your host is an art curator, so you'll find lots of fascinating books, charming trinkets and eye-catching art from their personal collection – the closer you look, the more you'll see. It might not be one for the minimalist who prefers a slightly less personal touch, but this lived-in home is undoubtedly bursting with character. The two bedrooms are decorated in pleasing tones of grey and sage with warming natural wood floors that evoke the peace of the nearby heath. It's just a short climb up to the second floor, but we think you'll agree that it's worth it for the breathtaking views across London’s skyline. 

Heathcliff

As soon as you step through the front door of this Hampstead apartment, you'll see that the space has been designed to be as bright and inviting as humanly possible. Tall windows and equally large skylights let in bountiful quantities of natural light, which dances off the stark white walls and shiny wooden floors. The fact that there's a wealth of space inside also helps. The design throughout is minimalist, with the quality of each and every leather furnishing and sleek surface really standing out as a result. That being said, it's far from joyless and there are still plenty of entertainment options to keep you occupied, including a poker set and arcade games machine. Although, it's not as if you need extra things to do with everything going on in the local neighbourhood. The sprawling Hampstead Heath can be reached in ten minutes on foot for a stroll through nature or a swim in the ponds, while there are interesting exhibitions at Camden Art Centre the same amount of time in the opposite direction.

Steel Wheel

Located in the heart of St John’s Wood, this apartment offers a great base for those visiting London for either work or leisure. There’s a dedicated office that can double as a single bedroom if needed, and the apartment’s private entrance adds a touch of privacy here too. Its lower-ground floor position means there’s not an abundance of natural light, but we’re willing to overlook this given the home’s prime location. An easy walk from Regent’s Park, Primrose Hill, Abbey Road Studios and with plenty of public transport options nearby, you’ll have the capital at your fingertips. 


The Robin

Follow in Joe Strummer's bovver-booted footsteps while staying at this chic and sophisticated top-floor flat in London's sought-after Ladbroke Grove neighbourhood. While The Clash might have mythologised its mean streets back in the late 70s, today it's better known for its colourful houses, tree-lined boulevards and vibrant atmosphere that's popular with locals and tourists alike. 

The area is home to a mix of independent shops, trendy cafes, and delicious international restaurants, making it a food lover's paradise. One of the most famous local landmarks is the iconic Portobello Road Market, a stone's throw from your front door. The Underground is a five-minute walk away for easy travel across the city. Or explore on foot – Camden Market’s food stalls and canal-side pubs are just moments from your door.

Moments from Hampstead Heath, this apartment offers a cosy city sanctuary in a wonderful part of London. You can walk into Hampstead village where you’ll find a great selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. There’s a bus stop right outside and Belsize Park tube station is just a ten-minute walk away – making it easy to explore further afield. It’s worth noting the flat is on the second floor with no lift access, but once inside you’ll find everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The rooms are simple, versatile and well suited to solo travellers and couples.

This delightful home can be found in a leafy residential street in affluent Hampstead, just a mile away from Hampstead Heath. Stylish and sophisticated, it's a garden flat that packs in character features, big rooms and plenty of comfortable, contemporary furniture.
