Nestled on a cobbled mews near Holland Park, this home makes an excellent place for friends to get together. The patio has alfresco aperitifs written all over it – it'll be a real bonus during the summer months. Inside, the bright living area is another great spot to unwind, though if you need some time to yourself, the two en-suite bedrooms are equally as comfortable. Factor in the dedicated workspace upstairs, the soaker bath in the main bedroom, and the proximity to Notting Hill, and it's no surprise it caught our eye.

Impressing us at every turn, we were so pleased to discover Endless Light. It’s a sensory delight as soon as you walk through the door, with welcoming spaces designed with a calming colour palette and filled with modern furniture in a pristine condition. The views over St. James’s garden also add to the natural, peaceful feel of the home. The stylish bathroom was a standout feature, with a freestanding bath, walk-in rain shower and contemporary brass fixtures. It’s also a prime location for visiting London, with the tube, Notting Hill and Portobello all within walking distance.

Is there anything more charming than a London mews? We don't think so, and this home near Holland Park is both pretty and practical. It's an easy walk from the Tube and Notting Hill, yet tucked away from the city centre's hustle and bustle. Inside, you'll find a contemporary living area, a double-height dining area, and a sleek kitchen with all the essentials. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, while the third is in the converted garage and has a single daybed best suited to children. To top it all off, a quaint balcony is the perfect perch to admire the cobbled streets below, a glass of wine in hand.

Surrounded by thriving greenery and ancient tree canopies, the decked terrace is a real sanctuary of calm – perfect for throwing open the shutters, extending the communal space and sipping alfresco drinks on warmer evenings. It's no mean feat creating a place of calm in the middle of lively Notting Hill, but that's exactly what this home does. This close to Latimer Road Station and bus stops, you can easily zip around the city to tick off the sights on your bucket list. As for the flat, it's cosy enough for five guests. We also like the addition of the balcony, perfect for sunset drinks or contemplative cups of coffee. Out here, you can also look out over the rail line. It's worth noting it is a working line and the trains running could be a disturbance for some. Still, it's bright, pet-friendly and well-located.

Plus, Ladbroke Grove Tube Station is right around the corner, connecting you to many of London's major landmarks. Inside is charming, with a cosy living area that serves as a relaxing spot after busy days spent sightseeing. The kitchen is quite compact, which might not be the best option for everyone, but it's modern and well-equipped. Vibrant Notting Hill and the world-famous Portobello Road, where you'll find stalls selling everything from antiques to vintage clothes, plus independent coffee shops, mouth-watering eateries and charming gastropubs. Back at home, unwind from the day's adventures on the sumptuous L-shaped sofa. The dual aspect windows flood the room in light, not to mention show off the views of this characterful area.
