Needless to say, you’ll have shops and restaurants aplenty on the doorstep, and for reaching the capital’s must-sees, Ladbroke Grove Tube station is a five-minute walk away. With two kitchens, the home is a great option for a group or two families, as you can have a bit of space to yourselves if you need it. At full occupancy, guests seven and eight will be sleeping on the day bed in the small downstairs living/kitchen area, but with the larger living/kitchen/dining area upstairs, this needn’t be a deal-breaker.

We really liked the feel of this classic Notting Hill home, it’s stylish while also laid-back, which reflects the vibe of the neighbourhood. While the kitchen is fairly small, it’s well stocked and there’s a great selection of cookbooks to inspire you. Another highlight is the generous balcony – enjoy a BBQ in the summer or cosy up with a cup of tea and a blanket in the winter.

There were a lot of features about this home that we really loved. While it is a fairly small space, it has been thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, and your host is also one of the loveliest people we have had the pleasure to meet. The interiors do have a contemporary feel, with the Andy Warhol photography adding character. Accessed via a ladder-style staircase, the bedroom here is on a mezzanine level, so you'll have to be prepared for some mid-stay climbing. The surrounding location is idyllic, with a bohemian vibe and within easy reach of the coveted Notting Hill.

Located on a picturesque street in the heart of Notting Hill, this apartment is set in a charming locale. While the space has rather minimalist interiors, the location boasts two majestic parks nearby – Holland Park and Kensington Palace. Travel connections are also excellent, with Notting Hill and Kensington High Street a short stroll away. We loved the quaint, whitewashed courtyard with bistro seating – a great spot for an evening meal in the summer or leisurely breakfasts in the early morning. Both bedrooms overlook the patio so they are quiet and calm – you can guarantee a restful sleep night after night. The location is also ideal, right in the heart of Notting Hill and within a ten-minute walk of High Street Kensington. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to places to eat and drink – especially given your enviable position between two fantastic pubs. For picnics and quiet afternoons, Hyde Park is ten minutes away, while Notting Hill Gate tube station is just three minutes around the corner should you fancy a trip into central London.
