This traditional mews house is located in the heart of Notting Hill. From here, you can wander to Portobello Road and you’ll find Kensington Gardens is also just a short stroll away. It’s worth noting there is no private parking available, but you will find great public transport links and all the amenities you could need are within easy reach. Back at home, the open plan living room provides the ideal spot to switch off and relax. There is also a private terrace – perfect for summer evening drinks.

The patio has alfresco aperitifs written all over it – it'll be a real bonus during the summer months. The antique stalls of Portobello Road Market are around a fourteen-minute walk away, while it's a few more minutes to the Museum of Brands. Or culture lovers can head to the Gate Theatre, nine minutes on foot. On top of all this, Notting Hill Station is a ten-minute saunter if you want to explore the rest of what London has to offer. I'm Also Just a Girl 

There were a lot of features about this home that we really loved. While it is a fairly small space, it has been thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, and your host is also one of the loveliest people we have had the pleasure to meet. The interiors do have a contemporary feel, with the Andy Warhol photography adding character. Accessed via a ladder-style staircase, the bedroom here is on a mezzanine level, so you'll have to be prepared for some mid-stay climbing. The surrounding location is idyllic, with a bohemian vibe and within easy reach of the coveted Notting Hill.

Cotton Cocoon

Located in fashionable Notting Hill, this bright home is the perfect base from which to explore leafy West London. From the open-concept living area to the private outside patio, there’s plenty of space for a family to feel right at home here. Should you want to give your legs a stretch, you have direct access to a communal garden, complete with a play area for the little ones. The bars, restaurants and cafes of Portobello Road are a five-minute walk away, and Holland Park is the closest tube station for trips across the city.

We really liked the feel of this classic Notting Hill home, it’s stylish while also laid-back, which reflects the vibe of the neighbourhood. There’s a gas fire in the living room, charming wooden floors, and a glass chandelier in the bedroom. It’s filled with personal character too, such as the fashion photography and vintage sewing machine. While the kitchen is fairly small, it’s well stocked and there’s a great selection of cookbooks to inspire you. Another highlight is the generous balcony – enjoy a BBQ in the summer or cosy up with a cup of tea and a blanket in the winter.

Thanks to its lively markets, vibrant carnival and rich film history, Notting Hill's reputation precedes itself. But we're about to confess our love for it nonetheless. At this stylish apartment along St Luke's Rd, you're no more than ten minutes' walk away from the delights of colourful Portobello Road – where designer boutiques, traditional pubs and vintage clothes stalls all vie for your attention. If you fancy a walk, Holland Park is a twenty-minute stroll from your front door, while Central London is easily reachable on public transport.
