The host of this home is a photographer by trade and often uses the address as a studio. It's not hard to see why she does this. For a start, the set of skylights and the huge glass door means that the main living room is treated to a bountiful amount of natural light. The interior design is effortlessly stylish and takes in a range of influences, from the mid-century-inspired furnishings and the industrial-chic light fixtures to the chic monochromatic bathroom. Perhaps the biggest showstopper, however, is the home's private terrace, which has plenty of seating and even a small lawn. If the weather's looking good, there are plenty of spots nearby to enjoy this stroke of luck, as we're in one of London's greener corners. Cannizaro Park is fifteen minutes' walk away, while Fishponds Wood Nature Reserve can be reached in just over half an hour on foot.

Or, opt for a more casual set-up at the breakfast bar, perfect for a quick morning fuel-up before heading into London proper (fifteen minutes by train from Raynes Park). A healthy collection of pot plants, books and Indian throws add a boho-luxe feel to each room and liven up an otherwise bright, white space, making this a delightful spot to return home to. When we say this home is a stone's throw (or a rather outstanding serve) away from the Wimbledon Tennis Club, we really mean it. Yes, get your Fedoras and Ray-Bans at the ready, because this stylish family house is a mere twenty minutes' walk from the famous grounds. In a quiet street away from the flocks of Federer fans, this spot is also less than a twenty-minute walk from charming Wimbledon Village, filled with a wealth of boutique-style shops, gourmet restaurants and upscale bars – those not into their tennis or staying outside of the two-week tournament will also love this location for its scenic surroundings and close-knit community. Inside, the home's soft pastel walls are whimsical and playful, while the mid-century furniture, pendant lighting, dark wood surfaces and colourful scatter cushions make for a revived, funky style. As well as a lawn plenty big enough for games, there's also plenty of alfresco seating. This is what exceptional living in London looks like. Stylish, elegant yet expansive, it’s a home begging for a large family or groups of friends to come together. Feedback from guests regarding this home has never been short of outstanding, and it's easy to see why. Upstairs you’ll find luxurious bedrooms with Egyptian cotton sheets – we’ll leave you to decide who lucks out on that top floor air-conditioned master with a garden view terrace. But for us, the clear standout feature has to be downstairs in the impressive kitchen, living and dining area, an incredibly impressive room that holds the entire household comfortably with stunning views of the beautiful garden. This space is best served with those incredible full-height patio doors slid right back to let the sunshine in, as you come together for a long, lazy breakfast before setting out to explore. And you’re in the right location to do so. Given the size of this place you'll be forgiven for thinking you're well outside the city, but you can walk to Wandsworth Common station in just over 10 minutes, and from there it's a quick 10-minute train ride to Victoria Station. Or for something a little slower paced, do like the locals and head round the corner for a brisk walk around Wandsworth Common – via the bustling high street first for that obligatory coffee. For those arriving by car, this home has its own off-street parking space – a very welcome rarity in London.

The absolute highlight here, though, is the pretty, sunny garden – the rattan sofa, surrounded by scented climbers, is the perfect spot for cocktails. At the end of a busy day in London, we can't think of anything better than having a long luxurious soak in the silver freestanding bath.

Located in the leafy, sought-after neighbourhood of Parsons Green, you'll have an array of restaurants and bars nearby. If you crave more green space, go for a stroll around Eel Brook Common, within a fifteen-minute walk. Or explore the rest of London – Parsons Green Station, on the Wimbledon branch of the District line, is under five minutes on foot.
