Located in central Cromer – just a short walk from local cafes, shops and, of course, the beach – this home features a large enclosed garden, hot tub, and a log burner, making it perfect for relaxing coastal breaks – whether it’s summer or winter, raining or the sun is shining brightly.

Begin your days here with a lazy breakfast alfresco on the patio while your children and four-legged friends let off steam on the lawn. Then, head to Cromer beach and pier for the day – just don’t forget to check when dogs are allowed on the beach. Cromer beach is popular for both surfing and swimming, while the famous pier offers a one-of-a-kind show that you won’t want to miss. 

Explore the town of Cromer, which used to be known as an old fishing town and still features buildings dating back to the Victorian era. Then, in the evening head back to the house and fire up the barbecue for that British summer outdoor dining experience. Once the children are in bed, unwind in the hot tub with a refreshing glass of wine. Or, on chilly nights, curl up on the living room sofa in front of the wood burner fireplace. 

Rose & Dawn

Sit back and relax on the living room sofa, whip up a hearty seafood dish in the deceptively large kitchen, or curl up in bed with a good book and a delicious cup of tea. 

When you’re ready to head out, you’ll find yourself within easy reach of some of Cromer’s most exciting attractions. Soak up some culture at the local history museum, practise your swing at The Royal Cromer Golf Club, or treat little ones to a fun-filled day out at Amazona Zoo. However you choose to spend your time here, you’ll love coming home to your gorgeous holiday cottage, where you’ll have everything you need for an unforgettable stay on Britain’s east coast. 

By the Pier

Even leaving aside the large capacity, this home is definitely geared towards family gatherings. The open-concept living-dining-kitchen area on the ground floor feels innately sociable and the addition of a foosball table is sure to see things get competitive at one point or another.

Outside, the alfresco seating on the terrace is ideal for languourous summer suppers, while the hot tub is another option in which to sit around and shoot the breeze. Add to that a lawn big enough for games, and you can see where the warmer months will be spent here.

That's when you're actually at the address, of course. With the wealth of distractions nearby, you might find you're away from the home more than you envisioned. The town of Cromer and its beach take no more than five minutes to reach in the car. In the other direction, Felbrigg Hall and Gardens can be reached in a similar amount of time.

Summer Soirée

This recently renovated holiday apartment in the town of Cromer is the ideal place to begin your Norfolk adventures. Ideal for a family or small group of friends, it's just a stone's throw away from the seaside – you're guaranteed to make some lasting memories here. 

Inside, the open-plan living space is flooded with natural light beaming in through the two bay windows. The buttery-soft leather sofas and patterned rug keep it cosy, while the sleek kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up some hearty dishes. We recommend a traditional roast dinner, with all the trimmings, to refuel at the end of a busy day. And, there's even a free-standing bathtub where you can enjoy a long, luxurious soak – peace, perfect peace. 

Cromer's Grade-II listed pier is just a seven-minute stroll away, and you'll love wandering along the beach esplanade with an ice cream in hand. The town has plenty of pubs and restaurants serving the famous Cromer crab, along with a selection of independent boutiques. And, with plenty of coastal walks in the surrounding Norfolk area, and a golf course just seven minutes away by car, you won't run out of things to do easily. 

Twin Bay Windows

Replacing the old station house on the outskirts of Cromer, this home is part of a small new development – super stylish and designed with plenty of wow factor. Set into a sloping site, it's been cleverly laid out over three floors, with its large, open living space on the first floor yet with direct access to the garden. And although the garden isn't huge, we've fallen for its charms – tucked away and private, the deck is a real sun-trap.

Here the decor isn't cosy cottage but sleek and modern, with comfortable furnishings and practical space. Perfect for a family or a couple of families sharing, it's all about crisp white walls and bright, cheerful styling. A central staircase divides the living room, with a seating area for relaxing in front of a film, a dining spot in front of the patio doors and a high-spec kitchen. And with four bedrooms (three on the ground floor and a more private main suite on the second) it's not short on space.

Right next to the local woods, you'll be able to nip out for a walk after breakfast or head into town for some of Cromer's famous shops and eateries. It's perfectly placed for exploring the Norfolk coast and the little local zoo is within walking distance too.


Along the Track

Quaint and cosy, this old shoemaker's cottage in the heart of Cromer is a perfect seaside retreat for two. It's just a two-minute walk from Cromer Beach and the Victorian pier, making it a top-notch spot for couples to unwind. 

Inside, the home hasn't lost any of its traditional charm, thanks to the wooden floors, timber beams and vintage furniture. Lighthouses and wooden shoes line the shelves, paying homage to the cottage’s excellent seaside location as well as its history. The living room is warm and comfortable — on chilly nights, snuggle in front of the electric fire with a good book and a glass of wine. While the kitchen is on the smaller side, it still has everything you need to whip up a quick breakfast or light lunch. 

When it's time for dinner, we recommend grabbing a bite to eat at one of the fabulous restaurants, delis, and cafés in town, then finishing off the evening with a nightcap at the pub across the road.

Wooden Shoes

Nestled on the grounds of the Cromer Country Club, guests lucky enough to stay here can enjoy the peace and quiet, and excellent amenities. Make use of the swimming pool, the spa, and gym facilities, or enjoy a day at the next-door Royal Cromer Golf Club. More importantly, you’ll be staying just moments from the sea. That means fishing, crabbing, swimming, boating and more are all available to guests who come here for a little bit of fresh sea air. Step into the home and you’ll find a balance of coastal-inspired and modern furnishings. This family-friendly home also provides guests with highchairs, baby gates, and a travel cot to ensure everyone can relax on this trip. Split across two levels, the upstairs bedrooms benefit from picturesque sea views, while the home’s backyard is perfect for lawn games, dining al fresco, and basking in the sunshine. Tide Pool Cottage

A striking flint barn tucked away on the outskirts of Cromer, this recently converted home is sure to thrill you. Boasting impressive double-height ceilings, exposed trusses and windows reaching from floor to ceiling, this home is a sight to behold. This grand space feels homely and welcoming, and the architects have brought the flint exterior inside, flaunting Norfolk’s take on exposed brick, and we love it. With its large open-plan layout, the living area is the main social hub, perfect for cooking and chatting, dining, and spending quality time together. 

Step through the glass doors and into the garden, where you’ll find expansive lawns and plenty of comfortable seating. Plus, you’re ideally positioned for walking and cycling, and nearby Cromer Beach is just a short way away, offering entertainment for all ages. Guests keen on doing some shopping or in search of delicious food should head to Norwich for its many excellent restaurants, boutique shops and theatres, a short drive or an easy train ride away.

The Barn Abbey

This charming apartment serves up a classic seaside retreat. Situated in the popular town of Cromer on the North Norfolk Coast, step out of your home-away-from-home and you’ll find the beach, cliffs, promenade and Cromer Pier on your doorstep. If the sea air is what you’re seeking, you couldn’t have come to a better place. 
 
Step in through the front door and you’ll find that contemporary furnishings mingle effortlessly with the classical Edwardian style of this home, with its high ceilings, ornate fireplace and generously-sized rooms. With mostly neutral decor, pops of colour provided through yellow blankets, quirky green shelves and fuschia pink cushions make this a happy home. It’s the perfect place to retreat to after a day of exploring. Head home, crack open a bottle of wine and sit in the peaceful garden to recap on the day’s adventures. For those travelling with children, they can happily entertain themselves inside with endless entertainment options, including a Smart TV, DVD player, games console and sound system. You won’t hear a peep from them while you enjoy your evening tipple.
 
As a new day dawns, pop on your coffee machine, grab a cup and head back to the conservatory area just off your master bedroom. As the sun shines quietly through the windows, you can plan another day of adventure with your loved ones, making memories that will last long after the holiday has come to an end. 

Seaside Secret

We didn't realise, you know, how many films have used Cromer as a film location – there are quite a few, so it's somewhat fitting that this home has its own cinema room with a huge flat-screen television. The kids will be delighted as there's also a games console to enjoy. 

We love the living room with its exposed brick walls, theatrical coloured lights and the large kitchen, which opens out onto the garden. Sip a cup of coffee or glass of wine here on warm evenings.

Then, head into Cromer for a meal at one of its many eateries. It’s no wonder this resort is a favourite with families – take a stroll down the pier and see the end-of-pier show (the only remaining one in the UK). There’s certainly plenty to do in this town – of course, there are the beaches and surfing hot spots, as well as the Amazona Zoo, the Cromer Museum and mini golf course. 

A bit further afield,  the vibrant town of Holt is around a twenty-minute drive away, while the 'capital of The Norfolk Broads', Wroxham, is around thirty-five minutes in the car. Norwich, on the other hand, can be reached in approximately forty minutes.



Life on Camera

Sitting close to the Cromer coastline, this home was once a fisherman's cottage, but enough contemporary additions and changes have been made in the intervening years to make it a great stay for those who have never cast a line in their lives.

On the ground floor, we love the open-concept dining-kitchen area, particularly the sleek surfaces and vintage film posters on the walls, while we've also got kind words for the cosy living room – we're betting you can already picture long nights playing board games by the wood burner. Upstairs, the freestanding bathtub will be a welcome sight for those who are fans of long and languorous soaks.

As an added bonus, the address has a private courtyard complete with an alfresco table and a barbecue that will serve you well during the summer months. If the sun makes a regular appearance during your stay, the town's pier, esplanade and beach can all be reached in under ten minutes on foot, while Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate take a similar amount of time to reach in the car.
