You're a stone's throw from Cley-next-the-Sea's coastal path, beach, and famed nature reserve. Even closer is the gastropub next door – perfect for a bite to eat or a nightcap.

Cley Serenity

This home nestled in the picturesque countryside of North Tuddenham, Norfolk has a history. The 16th-century rectory, once home to poet William Cowper, was replaced in 1852 by Rev Barry, brother of the Parliament architect. You’ll find traditional features here, and steep stairs leading to certain parts of the home, so keep that in mind. There’s a beautiful garden with a west-facing terrace for summer barbecues, a childproofed pond, and an outdoor tennis court. Guests can also explore the on-site wood, which boasts scenic pathways leading to picnic spots. Seeking activities? Your host can help arrange clay pigeon shooting, game shooting, and fishing.

The Country Garden

A former pub built over 300 years ago, this stunning home in the quiet village of South Creake near the North Norfolk Coast is the perfect place for a group of friends or family to spend quality time together. From its two comfortable living areas to its sunny conservatory, games room and huge garden, this home is made for indulgent relaxation. Enjoy your morning coffee in the conservatory while you watch the ducklings splash in the garden’s stream. Then set off to explore Burnham Market and Wells-next-the-Sea, both just eight minutes away by car, or the coast, reachable in twenty. As the sun sets, sit down to an alfresco meal or arrange for a private chef to cook you up a memorable feast, then finish the night off with a soak in the luxurious freestanding bathtub. The Old Chequers

Set on the first and second floors of a converted chapel, this apartment has everything you'd expect from a refurbished church – a grand entranceway, stained glass windows, ample living spaces and soaring ceilings. Just take those traditional features and combine them with hand-picked antiques, a playful colour palette and one-of-a-kind art pieces, and you've got this quirky hideaway in the heart of Holt. We're absolutely smitten with the whimsical vibe, be it the seashell feature wall in the master bath, the vintage furniture in the downstairs lounge or the collection of cutesy crockery lining the kitchen walls. There are a lot of modern conveniences too, including a Bluetooth speaker, two flat-screen TVs and a remote-controlled shower. And the location couldn't be better – on your doorstep are Holt's charming shops, cosy pubs, quaint cafes and local art galleries. After a day strolling through town or exploring North Norfolk, come back home to fire up the barbecue in the garden for an alfresco meal. Then unwind with a soak in the tub or pop a vinyl on the record player as you relax on the sumptuous sofas, a glass of bubbly in hand.

Have A Little Faith

Just a ten-minute walk from the beautiful Overstrand Beach sits a charming bungalow like no other in the area. With its Palm Springs-inspired design, complete with copious amounts of lovely wood panelling, furniture Tarantino could only dream of, and desert plants outside, you’ll need reminding that you’re just a short distance away from the North Sea.

The peaceful location will let you unwind and feel rejuvenated, as you enjoy your morning coffee in the mini-desert garden. Unleash your competitive side as you play a quick game of pool before you head out to explore the charm of Cromer, including taking a walk down its Victorian pier before indulging in some fish and chips. 

Whether you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life or simply want to experience something new, this property provides a blend of subtle luxury and relaxation. With its unique design, peaceful location, and close proximity to the charming town of Cromer, this is a trip you won’t forget in a hurry.

Cromer Springs

Perched a five-minute stroll away from Caister-on-Sea Beach, this spot offers an idyllic setting for a family to come together for a refreshing break by the sea. Inside the home, a vast open plan living area, furnished with timeless furniture and decoration offers a sophisticated space to relax all year round. Whether you visit during the sunny summer's months or in the chill of winter, this home remains a warm, welcoming and tranquil place to retreat to when seeking an escape from the mundane. From the living space, large glass sliding doors invite in plenty of natural daylight from the outside patio – perfect for relaxing amidst the sea air. Fire up the barbecue or chill with a book in hand on the corner sofa, before heading down to the beach to catch the sunset. And if you head upstairs (and stand on tiptoes), you can catch a glimpse of the sea from the attic window – the beach is just 300 metres away after all. After a day on the beach, call into the village to nosey around the local shops and boutiques followed by a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants or cafes. With everything within walking distance, there is little need to travel by car when you don't feel like leaving Caister-on-Sea. But if you do fancy a little drive out, Great Yarmouth is only ten minutes down the road and well worth a visit. 

'Tis the Sea-Sun

All the Norfolk hotspots, including Sandringham and Holkham, are on the cards with a stay at this Norfolk home. Fringing the peaceful village of Syderstone and just a 10-mile drive to the coast, you’ve got the best of both worlds here. Spend relaxed summer days hopping between the free-flowing kitchen and landscaped garden. The paddock views of the horses will bring the entertainment. Meanwhile, winter nights are all about cosying up beside the log-burner for slow family mealtimes. One thing to note – at full occupancy, the last two guests will sleep on a sofa bed here. But for a home delivering space and practicality in spades, we can let that slide. 

North Winds

Originally an inn, this cottage is one of the first buildings erected in the 15th-century town of Wells-next-the-sea. Now it welcomes large groups to enjoy a modern interior and a large south-facing garden.  Spot the views over the conservation area, thanks to its elevated position. The space is cosy, though it's worth noting that one of the bedrooms is without a door, so it might not feel the most private. Still, it is minutes away from the harbour and a fifteen-minute walk from Well's Beach. You're also in one of the UK's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which you can explore more by car.

Sea Spray Cottage

Escape for some fresh coastal air and bring your friends or family members along with you. It's a spacious and stylish apartment with plenty of seating, pops of colour and tasteful decor. Ideal for a small group, this contemporary home offers comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a sleek kitchen and a chic dining area – we especially love the Eames-style chairs and funky artwork. While this is a modern build, and a well-presented one at that, there's a warmth here with the vibrant scatter cushions, comfy throws and green houseplants that makes it feel like home right away. The real highlight of the apartment is outside space – complete with garden furniture, a barbecue and a tall wooden fence for added privacy – sitting out on the patio with a glass of chilled wine is a dreamy way to bookmark any day if you ask us. Perfectly placed, walk to sandy Great Yarmouth Beach in less than twelve minutes and be at Nelson's Monument and the lively town centre in under half an hour. We'd especially recommend a trip to the Merrivale Model Village if you're after a fun family day out – as with most of the popular attractions, it's well within reach here. 

Town Is By The Sea

Perched on the edge of Blickling Hall Estate and fringing the chocolate-box village of Oulton, the setting for this adult-only hideaway is dreamy. All the cottagecore essentials are ticked off with original beams, a wood-burning stove, and a pretty, south-facing garden to call your own. Although it’s worth noting the home’s low beams and restricted head height might not suit the vertically blessed. With no amenities within walking distance, you’ll need a car here. Head to Holt for a dose of sea air (a twenty-minute drive). Or, closer to home, nearby Aylsham for a taste of market town life.
