Location-wise, the Cotswolds offers endless walking trails, and you’ll also find Bourton on the Water and Chipping Norton within easy driving distance.

Down In The Garden

Perfect for family gatherings, we love the open plan living room and kitchen – just the ticket when you’re in the mood for socialising. Fancy a bit of time to yourself? Head to the cosy snug and light the wood burner. Outdoors, there’s an impressive amount of space, which is ideal for those bringing dogs along for the adventure. Ready to head out and explore? It’s a ten-minute stroll to Burford’s quaint high street, where independent shops, art galleries and pretty tea rooms await. 

Burford Blossom

Hidden away in the Oxfordshire countryside, this home provides a welcoming retreat for those in search of peace, relaxation and beautiful woodland walks. Set across one floor, the rooms are cosy and family-friendly with plenty of space to socialise in the open-plan living room. And when it comes to local produce, you’ll be spoiled for choice thanks to the close proximity to Diddly Squat Farm Shop and Daylesford Organic – both just a short drive away.

This charming home hides a few surprises too. At the heart of the apartment is a dramatic cupola, which floods the living space with natural light. And outside, in the shared grounds of the country estate where this apartment lies, you’ll find a stunning shared indoor pool, a hammam, and five acres of manicured gardens with a Moorish-inspired pavilion garden at its heart. Despite its serenely peaceful setting, you’re just a five-minute stroll to the heart of Kingham with award-winning gastropubs.  Make sure to visit the renowned spa and farm shop, just a five-minute drive away, for a spot of pampering. And when it’s time to uncover more of Cotswold’s natural beauty, we suggest starting in the chocolate-box village of Stow-on-the-Wold (just a fifteen-minute drive away) for antique browsing and cream tea. It would be rude not to.

Under Blue Skies

Tucked away in the quiet Cotswold village of Nether Westcote, this 18th-century barn is a delightful escape just for two. The place is packed with original features, including timber beams and stone walls, creating a rustic yet homely feel throughout. We loved how the cosy seating area with log-burning stove opens up into a bright dining space – the perfect spot for cream tea on summer afternoons. When it’s particularly warm out, sit at the bistro set in the garden with a glass of your favourite tipple and a paperback pulled from the bookcase. 

Take a nine-minute drive to Stow-on-the-Wold for its popular Farmer’s Market or stretch your legs with a ramble to Bourton-on-the-Water – it’ll take you an hour-and-a-half by foot. But if you’d prefer to stay put, your host can arrange fantastic at-home experiences including cider tasting and cooking classes.

Farmhouse Retreat

If you’re longing for country charm, this cottage in the Cotswolds could be the holiday home for you. It sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Shipton-under-Wychwood, close to other chocolate box villages including Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, and Chipping Norton. The Oxfordshire Way passes close to the cottage, making this an excellent choice for keen walkers and cyclists. The cottage looks out over fields and boasts a charming garden – you can unwind here. Inside, you’ll find vintage-style wallpaper and textiles, antique furniture, and a wood-burning stove to keep things cosy. We think you’ll love it. 

Cottage Hideaway

It's impossible to choose our favourite thing about this cosy Cotswolds cottage. We adore the warm and inviting living area – original wood floors and traditional beams meet modern upgrades like underfloor heating – and with a collection of books, board games and children's toys, there's plenty to keep the whole family busy on rainy days. There's also host Christopher, who goes above and beyond to make your stay here feel like home – after unpacking, make yourself a cup of tea and enjoy a slice of the fresh loaf of bread he leaves on arrival. And we can't forget about the grounds, with a dazzling heated indoor pool, Turkish Hammam steam room and communal tennis court for guests to use. If we had to pick, though, we think the five acres of gardens are pretty spectacular. There's nothing better than an afternoon stroll amongst the greenery, watching birds by the pond, admiring the statues and basking in the views over the Cotswolds. In the centre of it all is a unique pavilion inspired by The Alhambra, the perfect spot for outdoor yoga in the morning sun. But if you'd like a change of scenery, the village has two charming pubs and many of the iconic Cotswolds villages are a short drive away, including Stow-on-the-Wold (fifteen minutes away) and Bourton-on-the-Water (twenty minutes by car).

The Fairest Of Seasons

With a colourful history dating back to the 18th century, this dreamy Cotswolds retreat has been freshly restored from top to bottom, creating a cosy space packed with contemporary comforts.

Proud and handsome with a serene surround, from the outside, this place is picture–perfect. Mounds of luscious green ivy canopy the sage front door and the elongated picture windows tease a glimpse of what’s inside…

As we weave our way from room to room, it’s clear to see that this place is so much more than just a pretty front cover. Exposed timbers and stone walls show off the home’s original charm, meanwhile the natural oak floors and soothing, neutral colour scheme create a relaxing space to unwind. 

We love the dining room. With its traditional, lanterned ceiling and large wooden table, there’s no better place to enjoy a spot of evening entertainment with friends and family. Gather around, pop open the bubbly and while the night away with board games, nibbles, fun and laughter before sprawling out in your snuggly bed for a well–deserved night’s sleep.

For those visiting during the cooler months, the wood burning stove promises to keep you toasty and snug, meanwhile in the summer, the south–facing garden presents the ideal spot to soak up the sun. With a pretty pond and not one, but two terraces, whether you’re planning on some al fresco dining or you’re watching the sunset over a glass of red, one thing’s for sure, you couldn’t wish for a more idyllic setting to unwind. 


An Escape to the Cotswolds

Perfectly placed for exploring the best of the North Cotswolds, this peaceful cottage is as charming as its surroundings. Wake to garden views and fresh pastries from the village bakery, then head out to explore nearby Stow-on-the-Wold. Back at home, the open-plan living area is made for together time, prepare supper in the kitchen, then settle by the wood-burning fire with a glass of red. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms with traditional touches. Outside, the garden is an ideal spot for alfresco meals and morning coffee. With space for two well-behaved dogs, this cottage offers a warm, relaxed base for country rambles. 

Cotswold Wisteria

A visit to an area as beautiful as the Cotswolds deserves accommodation that's just as easy on the eye and this recently renovated home on the edge of Kingham more than fits the bill.

On the ground level, there are not just one, but two living rooms, each filled with comfy furnishings and framed artwork, and one with a wood-burning fireplace to curl up next to during the cooler months. The open-concept kitchen-dining area is a contemporary take on the traditional farmhouse kitchen, with a blue range cooker and sleek wooden surfaces. 

Look out the huge glass doors in this space and you'll see the home's walled garden, which has plenty of seating for alfresco gatherings, plus a barbecue and fire pit so festivities can continue into the evening. When you're ready to explore, there's no shortage of scenic walking routes and quaint villages to explore in the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The home itself is situated on a quiet lane which trails into a bridle path at the edge of the village. A fifteen minute stroll this way brings you to Daylesford Organic and the Bamford Wellness Spa, where you can find both organic produce and some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Even closer to home you'll find two of the village's highly acclaimed gastropubs, the Wild Rabbit and the Kingham Plough, just a five-minute walk away. A five-minute drive will take you to Diddly Squat Farm Shop, and a twenty-minute drive will take you to the renowned Soho Farmhouse.

Pride of the Village

This charming refurbished barn conversion is perfect for those wanting to explore the English countryside from a comfortable base. This home has everything you need for a restful break. 

The house can be found tucked away amid the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds, just outside of the ancient village of Shipton under Wychwood. A twenty-minute stroll will take you to the heart of the pretty village, while a ten-minute drive will get you to Chipping Norton and Burford. There’s no shortage of cosy pubs to call into, whether you’re after a post-hike pint or are on the hunt for a Sunday roast. 

Back at the cottage, curl up with a book in front of the log burner and feel the stresses of daily life melt away. This is the ideal place for taking a break – you can’t help but relax if the only sound you can hear is the gentle crackle of a fire. Sipping a glass of wine helps, too.
