Open up the solid ash double doors to a sun-soaked courtyard and explore a further 70 acres of woodland and meadow beyond – enjoy a leafy walk through the countryside and ensure you bring the complimentary picnic hamper with you for a charming lunch in the sunshine. As every cottage can be rented individually, each one has an excellent level of privacy, but they come together around the gorgeous central courtyard. Drop by local pubs for lunch, or head out for walks in the rolling fields, and we’d definitely recommend a trip to the nearby Hook Norton brewery. This is generally a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts but it’s also only a short drive to Oxford if you fancy an afternoon in town.

Your host Nick has worked very hard to ensure this home is as eco as possible including solar panels, triple glazed windows, underfloor heating, a clover lawn which sequesters carbon and even sustainable toiletries. A beautiful home thats also kind to nature - the perfect stay for the environmentally conscious.
