Live in Georgian splendour at this Grade II listed apartment building set along Bath's iconic Royal Crescent. Inside, every corner of this adults-only bolthole is beautifully curated with period-inspired interiors, and wait until you see the private courtyard – a rare find for a home this central. It’s worth noting that while the kitchenette is well-equipped, it’s compact and better suited to lighter bites. But let’s face it – with Bath’s vibrant culinary scene close by, we suspect you’ll be eating out anyway. Quietly tucked away from the inner-city bustle, but with all the sights within easy walking distance, the location is spot-on.

Georgian Glory

You can enjoy the wonderful views overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath from this home’s large terrace. It’s the perfect place for breakfast or evening drinks. And when the weather turns cooler, there’s a wood-burning stove in the beautifully designed open-plan living space. The views from here and the bedrooms (both with en-suites) are great too. Set in the tranquil neighbourhood of Widcombe, it's a short stroll to cafes, shops, pubs, and restaurants. Your hosts also provide bikes, so you can get out and explore, car-free. This place is a gem.

Bath City Views

A short stroll from this apartment will take you to attractions such as the Roman Baths. Around the corner, you’ll find Green Park Station, which hosts a Saturday morning Farmers' Market too. Other places of interest within easy walking distance include the Assembly Rooms and the Royal Crescent, to mention just a few. After a busy day, there’s a private courtyard garden to relax in at this home. Inside, the open-plan living space is packed with Georgian features. This room also sleeps two guests on a sofa bed at full occupancy. There’s also a cosy snug area with a small sofa bed. This home is perfect for families or friends seeking a stylish place in a great location.

Green Park Life

Even before you enter, it’s clear that there’s something special about Faerie World. The high position of the cottage gives a heavenly view of the stream below, and you can hear the babbling water from the terrace, which is itself surrounded by flowers, and makes you feel like you’re in a fairytale. Once inside, the living room and bedroom don’t disappoint. The bedroom in particular, with its Farrow & Ball colours, stands out. The kitchen doesn’t have the same aesthetic charm, but that’s a small gripe, and shouldn't give you any cause for concern.

Faerie World

A historical gem dating back to 1750, this Georgian mansion was once home to the Lord Mayor of Bath. Many of the original features still remain today, though that doesn't mean it's old-fashioned. There's a cinema room for family movie nights, generously sized lounges with cosy fireplaces, and a collection of bedrooms that look like they belong in a boutique hotel – including one with custom-built bunk beds perfect for six little ones. Fancy a bit of fresh air? The landscaped garden has views over Bath, a hot tub, and seating for ten. When you're ready to explore, the centre of Bath and its many museums, shops, and delicious eateries are just a mile away.

The Georgian Mayor

Situated on one of Bath’s elegant crescents, this chic apartment is ideally placed for a city break. It’s close to Walcot Street, which is affectionally known as the Artisan Quarter, where you’ll find characterful independent stores stocking unique gifts, vintage treasures, and designer homeware. After an afternoon spent shopping or sightseeing, return home to unwind in the lavish lounge or enjoy a delicious meal made in the well-kitted-out kitchen. One of our favourite features is the luxurious free-standing bathtub – because what better way to end a day in this ancient spa town than with a relaxing soak? And the real Roman Baths are only a ten-minute stroll away, so don’t miss a visit to see this perfectly-preserved relic of Roman life.

Stone Crescent

Gossamer Wing is situated right in the historic heart of Bath, allowing you to explore the city to your heart’s content on foot. You’ll be a stone’s throw away from all the city’s main attractions, including the Roman Baths, the spas, Bath Abbey and the Jane Austen museum. In the evenings, serve up a hearty dinner for the group in the well-equipped kitchen or head out to one of the many restaurants right on your doorstep. You also have a train station two minutes away if you ever feel like exploring more of the southwestern countryside or taking a day trip to nearby Bristol. 


Gossamer Wing

Attractive and comfortable, this apartment is on the first floor of a Georgian building in the heart of Bath. It’s situated just behind the Assembly Rooms, close to the Royal Crescent and the Roman Baths – there’s no need for a car here. This home is a great base for a luxurious city break, with its chandelier and velvet furniture. You’ll have everything you need here, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and independent shops nearby if you don't fancy cooking in the chic kitchen.

The Assembly

Secluded in the idyllic Somerset countryside on the outskirts of Bath, this luxurious garden apartment was once part of a working 19th-century watermill. It's a great mix of modern and industrial, with exposed timber beams under high ceilings and ladders as lampstands harking back to the building's watermill days. The kitchen and living room have been converted into an open space blessed with heaps of natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. We loved how cosy this place feels, with tons of books, a good selection of board games, a piano, and lots of personal touches that will instantly make any family feel at home. A classic Aga Stove provides warmth in the kitchen, and a picture-frame window shows off the rolling hills. There's plenty of prep space for cooking, so pour yourself a glass of wine, put a vinyl on the record player and let your culinary skills run wild. Outside, the sunny terrace and manicured garden are perfect for unwinding on sunnier days. Historic, vibrant Bath is a ten-minute drive away, so you're not far from restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques, but if you want to feel the oasis of a real countryside escape, rural walks and cycles through green fields, bluebell forests and single track cowslip strewn country have you covered. 

Dorlcote

One of the things that we like most about The Austen is the way that it has retained its sense of history. The building is over 250 years old, and the hosts have managed to keep many of the original features, including the wood panelling, fireplaces, and Georgian shutters. The home is also in the very centre of Bath. As in, less than five minutes on foot to the Roman baths themselves (and the same distance to the station, which while less glamorous, is also worth knowing). Even if it weren’t kept so well, it would be a good base for exploring the city, but as it is, staying here is simply a delight. 


The Austen

Set in the buzzing Artisan Quarter, this apartment is the perfect base for exploring Bath’s best bits. You’ll be steps from charming cafés and boutique shops, with the Roman Baths and Thermae Spa just a 15-minute walk away. Hedgemead Gardens are right across the road and make a lovely spot for a peaceful stroll or a picnic. Inside, it’s stylish and comfortable, with luxurious finishes throughout. One of the bedrooms sits on an open mezzanine above the living area – while it adds to the apartment’s charm, it offers less privacy than the others. Thoughtfully designed and brilliantly located, this is a welcoming city pad for a memorable stay.

Artisan Serenity

Step back in time in Bath with a stay at this elegant apartment that pays homage to the city's renowned Georgian architecture. With 18th-century touches still intact today, guests can enjoy sweeping ceilings and sash windows that look onto Great Pulteney Street, the longest and widest street in the city. Enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail on the private balcony after a day of exploring all of the fantastic city sights. With the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa, and the city centre all just a short walk away, this is a perfect base for those looking for a homely stay while discovering all that this historic city has to offer.
