If you’re feeling up to it, ramble for just over an hour along the Pembrokeshire coastal path to the charming town of Tenby – or jump in the car, it’ll only take you ten minutes.

Occupying an enviable spot, just a two-minute walk from South Beach and five minutes from the bustling High Street, this modern apartment has the very best of Tenby within easy reach. Inside the home, it’s modern and fresh with bifold doors in the living space that flood the place with light and a fully-equipped kitchen that makes rustling up your favourite dinners a cinch. In the bedrooms, it’s all soothing blue and grey tones and the sumptuous beds guarantee a blissful night’s sleep.

Start your mornings with a coffee on the terrace before throwing on your sun hat and taking the ten-minute stroll to the popular Castle Beach for a paddle in the shallows. If hunger strikes, there are a number of cosy cafes and gourmet seafood restaurants scattered across town. Explore the quaint seaside town, full of traditional charm, coastal paths, narrow streets lined with pastel-coloured houses, knick-knack shops, and teeming with historical sites. The surrounding beaches are absolutely beautiful – ideal for taking in the view while tucking into fish and chips.

For a change of scene, Tenby is just a nine-minute drive away, or hop on a boat trip to explore the wild Pembrokeshire coastline. For those who feel up to a hefty walk, the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right on your doorstep.

Further comforts include a pair of en-suite bedrooms – we’re particularly smitten with the freestanding tub – and a garden complete with outdoor seating, ideal for dining alfresco on warm summer evenings. 


Countryside Charm

Tucked away in the pretty village of Ludchurch and surrounded by glorious Pembrokeshire countryside, this home is a haven of tranquillity. As a former barn, this home retains much of its rustic charm with exposed beams and high vaulted ceilings, but don’t worry, there are no creaky areas or draughty spaces here. The rooms have all the modern comforts you could ask for – a cosy log burner, soft furnishings, WiFi and underfloor heating throughout. The open-plan living area is wonderfully spacious, uncluttered and awash with natural light. If the weather is good you’ll want to push open the patio doors and breathe in the countryside views. The garden has a serene summerhouse, but the best place to absorb the peaceful surroundings is from the heated hot tub. Drift away in the warm bubbles while contemplating the scenery of the rolling countryside. It’s a scenic 40-minute walk into the village of Wiseman’s Bridge, or fetch your towel, bathing suit and other paraphernalia to make the ten-minute drive down to the glorious Pembrokeshire coastline and its award-winning beaches. 

Sweet Valley Barn

There's a retreat from the world, and then there's this home – a quaint and spacious nest of rooms on a West Wales Alpaca farm. It's just you, your wood burner and the Alpacas. Spend your day in the wood-built cabin, where you'll find the kitchen and squashy sofa by the wood-burner – perfect for a writing retreat. Head across the decking to the self-contained apartment above the main house. Here you'll find your super-king bed, en-suite and a snug lounge area overlooking the Alpaca fields. Enjoy your private, secret garden set in the woodland where owls hoot and hedgehogs rustle. There's a fire pit for chilly evenings, a woodland barbecue area and an outdoor bath with a backdrop of towering trees is the cherry on top. Tucked into the ancient landscape of Carmarthenshire there are 200 miles of coastline wrap around and three coastal towns within thirty minutes drive. And then there are your immediate surroundings; a hammock on your decking and ten acres of land with roaming alpacas and river frontage, all in a cosy hamlet. Perfect when you need to retreat from the retreat.

Hidey Hole

You’ll find this house located in Narberth, just a five-minute walk from the town centre. Two living areas mean there's plenty of space for the group to stretch out. There’s a selection of books and board games for rainy days, but when the sun’s shining, take advantage of the barbecue in the fenced back garden. While the kitchen is fully equipped, we recommend trying out the nearby pubs and restaurants. And when you’re ready to explore the coast, Telpyn Beach is around a fifteen-minute drive away.
