Sure, you have to climb stairs to reach the apartment and you’ll need to watch your head on the sloping ceilings, but the sea vistas are worth it – best enjoyed from the private balcony, in our opinion.

The exposed stone walls, timber beams and old lifeboat oars add a coastal cosiness to the living space – we loved relaxing beneath the vaulted ceilings, tucked up on the sofa with a hot mug of tea after a long walk through the countryside.
