And since it’s only a short walk away, prepare to climb the steps and discover the remains of the high city, Parthenon temple and ancient citadel that dates back to the fourth millennium BC.

We love the modern designs and clean finishes here – from the crisp palette of cool greys and whites to the thoughtful choice of contemporary furnishings. We particularly love the statement pendant light that creates a uniquely inviting ambience above the sleek kitchen, where we imagine you’ll throw together an array of Greek dishes after a day exploring the cobblestoned streets of Plaka. Though with a barbecue on your rooftop, you might want to grill up some seafood and dine under the constellations.

This pristine, well thought out apartment makes for the perfect city break. Jazzy wallpaper blends with cool blue tones, while the sleek kitchen is perfect for whipping up quick meals in. The apartment is located in Koukaki, an eclectic neighbourhood full of quirky restaurants, independent art galleries, and delicious bakeries. Grab one of the best pastries in town at Takis Bakery before walking ten minutes to the Acropolis, which you can climb to see the Parthenon in all its glory as well as breathtaking views across Athens. The ancient neighbourhood of Plaka is also just next door, with its quaint cobbled streets, tiny boutique shops, and colourful houses.

Mosey through the National Garden to the Benaki Museum, then head over to the vibrant Psyri district for traditional Greek mezze in a laidback eatery after browsing the artisanal boutiques that line the atmospheric streets.

We especially love the furnished balcony. After a restful slumber, spend mornings perched here, sipping your coffee in the sunshine before slipping out to explore. Enjoy a morning stroll through the National Garden, thirteen minutes from your doorstep on foot, or take a seventeen-minute drive to the coast and spend a leisurely day on the white sands of Kalamaki Beach.
