From its timeless and classically beautiful interiors, to the stunning outdoor areas which really maximise the amazing view, this home certainly does have it all – and we think it offers something extra special for your next event or simply an unforgettable escape to the Greek sunshine. 

Located on the gorgeous Greek Island of Kea, one of the few remaining hidden gems of the Aegean, this expansive home sits on a large plot, creating a sense of space as well as privacy and uninterrupted tranquillity. Just a short walk from the nearest beach, during your stay in this lovely home you can look forward to long, sun-soaked days down by the sea or around the pool (depending on what you fancy that day) – days that then melt into balmy evenings. 

Choose from a number of inviting outdoor seating areas, finding your favourite spot in which to sit back, relax, and watch the sun dip toward the horizon with a glass of something refreshing in hand. As night rolls in and bellies begin rumbling, take the time to pamper yourself in one of the luxurious-feeling bathrooms, before heading off into the nearby town (just a two-minute drive away) to pick from the variety of authentic eateries serving up wonderfully fresh local specialties and enjoy an evening of holiday bliss.

Studying the Classics

Looking for something a little different and off-the-beaten-track for your next escape to the sunshine? Then the gorgeous Greek Island of Kea might just be the place for you. 

Offering beautiful beaches by the doze, quaint and quintessentially Greek towns and villages bursting with idyllic charm, as well as some stunning, unspoiled countryside, this often-overlooked gem is a great choice for family holidays, friends' getaways, and romantic retreats. This striking holiday villa set on a large plot of land enjoys a fantastic location just two minutes' drive away from the bustling Vourkari Marina – one of the most salubrious spots on the island that houses a variety of restaurants serving fresh seafood, lively cafes and bars as well as a handful of shops. 

The home itself is bright and inviting, offering loads of cosy seating areas in which you can park yourself with a good book and an even better wine for an hour or two, simply soaking up the feeling of tranquillity and holiday bliss as the waves lap against the shores below. Of course, then there is also that fabulous outdoor area, where you will find the swimming pool with a fantastic view of the enchanting waters of the Aegean. We especially love the furnished balcony overlooking the water and can just imagine sitting there as the sun goes down, sipping a cool glass of a classic summertime cocktail. ‘Yamas’ to that.

A Drop in the Aegean

On Greece's beautiful island of Kea, this villa's private pool and outdoor seating are perfectly placed to enjoy sunset views and the endless Aegean Sea. The interior is minimal and coastal and the location is peaceful, making it a great choice for families or couples looking for romance. While the nearest beach is just 1km away, we recommend having a car here for getting the most out of this beautiful location and exploring Korissa's famous taverns and fantastic local restaurants.

A Fresh Approach

Located on the island of Kea, this villa promises a relaxing escape away from Greece's tourist hubs. With the island's forty-five beaches to choose from, you'll be able to explore a new stretch of sand each day. But, if you don't want to stray too far from home, there are steps leading straight into the Aegean Sea in the garden – how's that for seafront? The whole place was designed with alfresco living (and the views) in mind, so you’ll find several serene spots to soak up the incredible scenery – our favourite being the saltwater infinity pool. There's also a small guest house with single beds, which is a good option for teenagers craving their own space.

Lion of Kea

Situated within a complex of six houses, this two-bedroom apartment on the Greek island of Kea is both cute and compact. Although small, this split-level home features a covered alfresco dining terrace and a top-floor balcony from which to enjoy uninterrupted sea views. Location-wise it’s a mere 100m from Gialiskari’s stunning sandy beach and only a short walk from Vourkari’s picturesque harbour awash with cafes, restaurants, boutiques and bars.

Sun Dazed

Nestled on a hill with views across the port of Kea, this sleek, contemporary villa is made for outdoor living. With panoramic sea views, whether you’re enjoying some respite from the Greek sun with a refreshing swim in the infinity pool, or simply soaking up the rays from the day bed, you’ll feel utterly content. When dinnertime rolls around, you can choose to rustle up a bite to eat in the modern, well-equipped kitchen, or light the stone barbecue to grill up a storm. 

However you choose to cook, there’s only one option as far as we’re concerned when it comes to dining – alfresco, of course. Settle down on the covered terrace to enjoy your meal over quiet conversation. As the sun starts to sink in the sky, uncork a bottle of bubbles and charge your glasses. With the sky dancing through an array of colours before the sun finally sinks into the sea, raise a toast to creating unforgettable memories with your loved ones. 

Sunset Delight

Located in Kea, this villa offers a slower pace of life than some of Greece’s more famous islands. With plenty of quiet beaches to choose from, you’ll be able to explore sandy shores each day, but if you’d rather relax at home there are a number of outdoor spots from which to soak up incredible ocean views (our favourite being the private pool). Another highlight is the small guest house with a double and a single bed, which is perfect for a small family looking for a little extra privacy. 

A Spot of Serenity 

Step through an archway of silver-sheened olive trees and vine leaves to reach this peaceful home on the unspoiled island of Kea. Perched above the Panagia Kastriani Monastery, the five-bedroom villa enjoys exquisite views of the ancient structure and the hazy sea beyond.

You'll feel the revitalising embrace of this home as soon as you enter – the calming palette of off-white and sage green compliments rather than competes with the beautiful surroundings. Characterful furniture sets the space apart (we're looking at the artist's easel, in particular), while painted wooden beams nod to traditional Grecian homes.

The island's main town, Ioulida, is a short drive away. Here, you'll find a sprinkle of colourful buildings clustered on the side of a hill. Make sure you visit the Lion of Kea, an archaic sculpture that's shrouded in mystery. The smiling animal is thought to make reference to Kea's mythology, but its exact meaning and creator remain unknown.

Olive Stone

This amazing Greek villa is located on the North-East coast of the Island of Kea. The stone house looks out over the beautiful turquoise ocean with a view of the island of Euboea and the coast of Attica. 

The perfect home for relaxing and recovering, why not take so time to lounge in the Greek sunshine and enjoy the warmth of its rays on your skin. Then, slip into the cooling waters of the freshwater swimming pool, and enjoy the stunning views while you float leisurely in the pool. 

Just a six-minute drive to Otzias, you can enjoy the sandy beaches and soothing sound of waves lapping at the shore, or dine in one of the local Tavernas. The village of Vourkari – just an eight-minute drive away – provides an opportunity for not only beach days but also scuba diving experiences. 

Coressia, the island’s port, is just a twelve-minute drive away, while the capital Ioulis is a twenty-five-minute drive away. In Ioulis you will be able to visit the archaeological museum and even see the Lion of Kea – an impressive early Greek stone monument that dates back to the Archaic period. 

What’s more, there is a regular ferry connection between Athens and Kea which takes about an hour, taking you to the Lavrion port. From here, you can drive about fifty-six minutes to Greece’s capital and explore everything Athens has to offer. 

After all your exploring, return home to the villa in the evening and cook some delicious souvlaki on the barbecue before dining alfresco as you enjoy the sun setting over the vista. 

Kea to my Heart

Feel the warm breeze brush your skin as you wake up here each morning with your morning coffee before endless blue views across the Aegean Sea. Heaven. We think it's pretty safe to say you'll want to spend much of your time here, out on the terrace, lapping up the vistas. And with an array of fabulous amenities to enjoy while doing so, you'll feel like you've landed at your own private resort. 

There's a private swimming pool, a shaded pergola with lounge seating and an alfresco dining area, plenty of poolside sun loungers and deck chairs positioned in prime view of the glistening seafront. Then, head down the steps for direct access to the sea, where you can enjoy open-water swimming when the current is calm. 

Inside, classic designs combined with modern home comforts create a unique experience where you can relax, switch off and reflect. Should you need to work while holidaying here, there are plenty of desk spaces to set up a laptop and work in solitude. Head out to discover the island of Kea and explore the surrounding locale, including the likes of Xyla Beach(a five-minute drive away) and the local harbour with bars, shops and restaurants, reachable in ten minutes by car. 



Sea Shell, Sea Shell 

Fancy relaxing on a day bed in the Grecian heat, while gazing out at hazy blue horizons? This home makes that possible. There are so many sea-viewing spots to choose from here, that you might mistake this home as an art gallery for the ocean. Whether you want to recline or dine, you'll find the ideal alfresco spot.

Those sea views aren't reserved just for the terraces either – there are lots of viewpoints inside the home, too. The interiors here aren't flashy or full-on, just calm and quiet – ideal for lazy mornings and afternoon naps.

When you want to head out, you'll find yourself just a short stroll from the glorious beach of Otzias, for sea swimming and sunbathing.

Ocean Portrait

Two families travelling together or a big group of friends can make the most of this home comprising two separate villas. It’s up in the hills, just outside of Kea’s capital town Ioulis so you can reach the supermarket and charming restaurants in less than ten minutes on foot. Up here, you’ve got a great view, taking in the rolling hills of Kea, topped with ancient white chapels, all the way to the sea. The group can spread out across two villas, each with its own kitchen, breezy living room and dining areas and come together in the outside space.

A rectangle of turquoise swimming pool provides an inviting spot to cool off in the heat of the day. Alfresco dining comes courtesy of deck-chair style seating around a wooden table, shaded by a pergola. Loungers on the beautiful stone patio look out over hilltops to the sparkling sea, and views don’t get much better than from the covered rooftop terrace. Days can be spent playing boules in the sunshine or perhaps a friendly game of basketball on the court. Then there are the sunsets, simply stunning from the cool waters of the infinity-edge pool.
