Fans of the beach will be delighted that the blue waters and white sands of Pantazi Beach are just a 9km drive away. The picture-perfect village of Pigi, with its winding streets and rustic charm, is also close by. And, if you want to explore the nearby Taygetos Mountains, join one of the hiking trails to walk through evergreen forests and lush meadows towards the crumbling peaks.

This home is located 30 metres from the beach, and just outside pretty Petalidi, a little coastal village that offers a dreamy break to beach lovers and cobblestone street explorers alike. It offers the ideal retreat to return to when not out exploring the idyllic coast of this Greek haven.

Start your day by venturing out along the underground passage that goes directly from your home to the beach, and watch the sun come up over the gorgeous blue waves of the Messenian Gulf while you paddle on the shore. Come back up to your modern dwelling to grab yourself a delicious breakfast of Greek yoghurt with honey and granola, and tuck in at your stylish dining set. Make yourself up an ouzo cocktail and sit out on your stunning pool deck while gazing out over the sparkling sea view. Cool off from the midday sun with some lengths of your private pool, before reclining back on your hanging lounger chair. As the evening rolls in, make a pitcher of sundowners and sit out together on your outdoor table and chairs, and enjoy uninterrupted views of the sunset.

If you were looking for perfect locations in which to build a home, this spot on the southeastern Peneloponese coastline would be a strong contender. Surrounded by lush vegetation — including trees growing olives, almonds, pears and lemons — it also has the added perk of having direct access to a secluded beach.

Part of a collection of five villas, this home makes the most of its beautiful position with a long terrace area containing an alfresco dining table, a couple of loungers and even a giant chess set. The interior has plenty of glass doors and large windows so you can still marvel at the scenery from inside, too. We're big fans of the decor, which is contemporary in style but subtle and unshowy about it.

As well as Kissakas beach almost quite literally on your doorstep, there are further seaside options a short drive away — like Tserfos just over a quarter of an hour's drive — as well as plenty of hiking routes and the town of Leonidio about fifteen minutes away in the car.

From its elevated clifftop position, this home offers access to a shared swimming pool and a lush garden area with a stone barbecue and alfresco dining space. Inside, you’ll find traditional stone walls and wooden beams. The nearest beach, Kalogria, is 2.7 kilometres away – we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. 


Siren's Lullaby

This home comprises two neighbouring villas rented as one, so is a great choice for groups or two families travelling together. With two swimming pools, terraces, seating areas, and alfresco dining areas, there’s plenty of outdoor space to choose from. And you’ll be treated to vast sea views from inside and out. Breakfast is included so you can have a leisurely start to the day, then when you’re ready to see the sights, hop in the car to visit the old fishing village of Stoupa or one of the many beaches on the Mani Peninsula.

And with your location in the heart of Mani Peninsula, you'll get a real flavour of Greece here, with an abundance of natural beauty and many seaside restaurants and beach bars to sample. This part of Greece is recognised for its picturesque villages and breathtakingly beautiful beaches – but with Stoupa as your base, there'll be little need to venture beyond the town if you truly are looking to stay in one place. With the sea located two minutes from the villa in one direction and the local supermarket just two minutes away in the other direction – what more could you need? 



Lavender & Red Roses 

Perched on a hilltop skirting the fishing village of Kilada, this villa is a bright and contemporary way to explore the historic Peloponnese. Visit the ancient Greek city of Mycenae or watch a theatrical performance in the Epidavros. Closer to home, you'll spot fish taverns and cafes, but with Doroufi and Vrochitsa both only 400m away, the beach might be your first stop. When you're home, there's a tennis court, games room, private pool, and barbecue to keep the whole family occupied. Throw in daily housekeeping and hand some of the itinerary planning over to your host, and you only have to worry about having too much fun.

This beautiful stone villa is in Neochari, fifteen minutes from the traditional village of Kardamili. The beach and harbour of Agios Nikolaos are ten minutes away, should you fancy a dip in the sea. The villa has a private swimming pool with sun loungers around it, and several spots for dining alfresco – is there anything better than fresh grilled seafood? Inside, the villa is cool and comfortable, with a fully-equipped kitchen. Ideal for groups, this home has plenty of space inside and out.

With views stretching far across the shores of Messinia, this home opens its doors to pure relaxation. Consisting of two independent apartments (each with its own kitchen and living room), this is a great option for groups seeking a restorative coastal escape. There’s a private pool, multiple terraces and balconies, plus breakfast is included in your stay. It’s also family friendly with children's amenities available and babysitting services on request. You will need a car to get around here, but it’s just a five-minute drive to the beaches of Stoupa and Pantazis in Agios Nikolaos.
