Whitewashed wooden beams and cool stone floors ooze Cycladic charm, while the kitchen and bedrooms house all the practical necessities for a seamless stay.

Your nearest beach, Paralia Agios Ioannis, is a breezy ten-minute walk away, an idyllic spot to experience Mykonos' impossibly clear waters and stretches of powdery sand. If you have an affinity for buzzy cocktail bars and late-night eateries, you can reach the main town in just ten minutes by car.

Head outside to take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or stretch out on a lounger to catch some rays. And, when evening rolls around, you can fire up the barbeque to grill up a delicious feast as the sun goes down across the water. 

If you fancy a day on the beach, then Paralia Megali Ammos is the closest – the sandy shoreline is only a four-minute drive away from your front door. The pretty windmills of Mykonos are a similar distance away, which you can visit before strolling through the charming streets of Chora. The island's capital also has plenty of restaurants serving up fresh seafood – feast on the catch of the day before you head to one of the famous bars for a cocktail.

There are lots of local amenities on your doorstep but we suggest a car if you'd like to explore more of the island – Agios Stefanos Beach and the New Port are less than 4km from the home.

The island of Mykonos is known to be partial to a party or two and this sensational villa is certainly built for entertaining. 

As well as accommodating a huge number of guests, there are plenty of sociable spots in which to hang out, from the circular infinity pool and surrounding loungers to the outdoor kitchen area nicknamed 'the restaurant' by the host — deservedly so given the bar, barbecue and curved seating. A Sonos speaker system will have everyone up on their feet, too.

The home is equally impressive behind the boxy walls. There's a bright and airy feel thanks to the plentiful windows, pure white walls and minimalist approach to decor. Snoop around, however, and you'll find some cosy subterranean nooks and crannies that embrace exposed stone walls. 

The surrounding area of Agios Lazaros is one of the more luxurious corners of Mykonos, with plenty of exclusive restaurants, beach clubs and sandy spots ready and waiting to be discovered — Psarou Beach takes less than ten minutes to reach by car, for example.

Party Invitation

With sweeping views of Delos Island and the Aegean Sea, this Cycladic-style villa is an ideal choice for families or groups of friends looking to seriously switch off. There’s a private swimming pool, a covered dining terrace and a comfortable seating area for drinks at sundown. We recommend hiring a car here as there’s not much going on in the immediate surroundings. Fortunately, Mykonos town is a short drive away, and you’re not far from Korfos Beach.

The upper terrace is the perfect place for private sunset dinners, offering views over the traditional white-washed buildings and the sparkling Aegean Sea.

Sporting a whitewashed façade and gorgeous views of the Aegean, this home is what island living is all about. The layout won’t be for everybody – guests nine and ten will be sleeping in a studio rather than their own private bedroom – but with Mykonos Town and its stunning beaches at your fingertips, there’s more than enough to like. Plus, your host can help arrange a whole bunch of extras – think in-home catering and private transport – to make your stay one to remember (having your own pool to splash around in doesn’t hurt either).
