The pure white curves of this villa feel as though they emulate the waves of the sea, and serve as a constant reminder of your location right on the coast of Mykonos. Views from the sprawling terrace are beautiful, taking in the azure-blue Aegean out to Tinos and an old lighthouse on the headland. Everything about the outdoor space is curvy, from the free-form swimming pool to the stone seating tucked into the waves of walls. A sleek outdoor bar awaits to serve a sundowner and this villa witnesses some of the best sunsets on the island. 

The interior is inspired by traditional Cyclades architecture, with thick white stone walls curving around each room. Exposed stone walls and a fireplace keep the living room with one foot in tradition, but the decor is decidedly boho-chic. Bedrooms sit beneath wooden ceilings with beds tucked into the curve of stone, and the master opens up to a terrace with a Jacuzzi tub and ocean view.
 
You’re in the super quiet Farnari area here, in the north of Mykonos. If you want to hit the bars of Mykonos Town, it’s a ten-minute drive.

The home is located on a complex of three villas, so it’s not totally secluded, but you will have plenty of privacy, and the infinity pool is all yours. Up on a hilltop and facing west over the sea, sunsets from this villa are some of the best on Mykonos. Watch the sky streak pink and purple as Delos island floats on the horizon and the coastline towns below twinkle to life. During the day, a sea breeze cools the terrace, where a pristine swimming pool invites you to take a dip and loungers are spread across the huge, stone expanse. 

Open up the wall of glass doors to create a full outdoor lounge, decked out with white sofas and covered by a wooden ceiling. From here, a stone archway leads to the dining area which can be turned alfresco by folding back the glass doors. A dedicated bar in the dining room is perfect for a pre-dinner tipple. The design is pure Greek, with white-wash stone walls and smooth edges, but there are pops of Asian influence too like the gong in the breakfasting kitchen and teak globe in the dining room.    

You’re up in the quiet hills of northern Mykonos here, but the lively hub of Mykonos Town is just a ten-minute drive away and Agios Stefanos Beach is a six-minute drive.

In the rugged Choulakia area of Mykonos, this sugar-cube villa has gasp-worthy views of the Aegean at every turn. We reckon the best spot to take in these vistas is from the cool of the lagoon-like pool, which softly slips into turquoise depth. The terrace feels endless, with a huge outdoor lounge shaded by a bamboo pergola, loungers beneath macrame parasols and an outdoor kitchen for long dinners outside. And that’s just ground-level. There are also a couple of first-floor balconies and a fabulous rooftop terrace which feels like your personal taverna overlooking the unrivalled sunset views.

Inside, boho touches like cacti, raw-wood accents and pristine white sofas create the perfect chill-out space. Airy bedrooms are all ensuite, and lead to private balconies and directly out to terraces. This place is designed with days outdoors in mind, but the open-plan living area dominating the ground floor makes for an equally social spot for the group to get together.

If these sugar-cube exteriors and stylish terraces don’t say luxurious Mykonos living, then we don’t know what else will. Set high in the rugged hillsides – you’ll need to hop in the car to explore the nearby beaches and Mykonos Town, just five kilometres away. But with views of the Aegean Sea this good, it’s worth the drive. And don’t get us started on the panoramas of Mykonos Town from here at night – what a showstopper. With three bedrooms in the main house and five attached suites (all with their own en-suites), this home is a great choice for an extended family or large group of friends looking to holiday together without crowding each other. And there’s an award-winning concierge team on-hand if you need anything.

Neptune's Lookout

Tucked away in the northwest corner of Mykonos, this beautiful villa overlooks the Aegean from an elevated position. With two bedrooms suited to two couples or a small family, this location allows you to explore the island away from the bustle. But don't worry, Mykonos Town is only a short drive away, and so are sparkling beaches like Agios Stefanos. With a focus on the landscape, there's ample outdoor seating and an infinity pool. It's worth noting the main bedroom is only separated from the living room by a curtain, which might not feel the most private. Still, with a shared gym and tennis court thrown into the mix, you can't go wrong here.
