To ensure a comfortable stay, we provide light cleaning service every two days and bathroom amenities, fresh linen, towels, and bathrobes. This charming home is a picture-perfect example of Cycladic style. The villa sits on a hillside looking over the bay, with pretty whitewashed walls and a sugar-cube shape. It’s in a gated complex of twelve properties, which are all nicely spread out – you don’t have to worry about privacy here. 

The villa is simple in style, with lots of white – the views of the cobalt-coloured sea and swimming pool add inviting blues to the palette. You’ll likely start your days on the lovely terrace, admiring the panoramic view while sipping fresh fruit juice. Then you’ll have to make a tough decision: will you sunbathe first by the pool or the sea? In addition to boasting a gorgeous infinity pool, the villa has direct access to the sea via a little dock. 

For a larger beach with soft white sand, drive eight minutes to Psarou beach. Maybe you’ll try snorkelling in the calm, clear water? Situated on the ridge of Aleomandra and facing the stunning Aegean, the views over the neighbouring island of Delos are gorgeous, and the sunsets here are legendary. 

Almost entirely hidden from view, this home has an exclusive setting. Sitting behind hand-built stone walls dug from the site – there's a traditional island vernacular palette of materials such as lime-wash, stone, and wood. 

This home has been designed for laid-back summer living – lounge by the infinity pool or enjoy some cocktails in one of the many stylish seating areas. Neolithic-like standing stones support chestnut-wood pergolas casting beautiful shadows and giving shelter from the hot Mykonos sun. The rough-hewn boulders are a recurring feature, anchoring this home in the landscape – you'll find them scattered inside this villa and around the pool. We particularly love the ones that form stepping stones through the shallow water to the main outdoor living area.

The first thing that drew our eye to this home was the absolutely incredible location; sitting at the very precipice of the hillside, looking out over the Aegean Sea, it really does make you stop and wonder. Guests of this stunning home are guaranteed an unforgettable experience, with a fresh, open atmosphere, comfortable furnishings and ample entertainment including a private pool, onsite barbecue, and alfresco dining area, it really is its own little slice of paradise. Start your day off right with a fresh cup of coffee out on the veranda, watching as the sun rises over the glittering horizon, waking the world up as it goes. 

The rest of the day can be spent topping up that perfect holiday tan and occasionally cooling off in the private infinity pool, before taking the ten-minute drive to Mykonos Town to delve into the island's rich culture and history with a spot of sightseeing and fine dining, and perhaps even a sweet (we highly recommend trying Amygdalota while you're there). There's also plenty of shopping to be done in the stylish boutiques, so make sure there's room in your suitcase for souvenirs. For those that cannot get enough of Mykonos' crystal-blue waters, Psarou Beach is less than a six-minute walk away, and offers some of the clearest waters in the whole region – it's great for snorkelling and swimming.



Hillside Sunshine

With a prime position on the south coastline of Mykonos, this traditionally Cycladic villa is treated to spectacular views of the Aegean Sea and rocky outcrops bobbing about in the water. It's a panorama that will be as awe-inspiring on the fiftieth viewing as it was on the first, so thankfully there are plenty of spots where you can sit and drink it all in. As well as an alfresco dining table and a shady verandah, there's a swimming pool that overlooks the landscape.

The home's tall windows mean that the scenery can even be admired while you sit inside. The design in the open-concept living-kitchen area opts for simplicity, with whitewashed walls and furnishings, plus contrastingly rich wooden finishes in the kitchen. Come the night time, you'll be grateful for the fireplace in this space.

When you want to see a little more of the island, the centre of the main town takes under a quarter of an hour to reach by car and rewards those that make the journey with museums, restaurants and the famous windmills. The nearest beach, Paralia Psarous, is only a seven-minute drive, too.

Like a scene from a postcard, the views from this waterfront villa are pretty spectacular. We could easily spend all day on the terrace, drinking wine in the sun and watching the boats bob in the harbour as the tide rises and falls. Don't even get us started on the Aegean sea sunsets – they're downright magical, and you'll have a front-row seat. 

A former mayor's residence, this home was built in 1850 and has oodles of character inside – think beams on the high ceilings and shutters on the windows. Yet every room is bright, crisp and super sleek, thanks to the minimal decorations and white colour scheme. The design is pared-back on purpose so you can focus on the scenery, but don't let that fool you. And the location is fabulous, too. Whether you crave a night on the town, afternoon brunch or a leisurely morning stroll, this is undoubtedly the best spot on the island – mere minutes from the beach, museums and Mykonos' pretty cobbled lanes lined with boutiques and eateries. It can't get much sweeter than that.
