This villa in the south of Paros is blessed with a sweeping view of the Aegean Sea and Cycladic islands on the distant horizon. Thankfully, you're not short of spots from which you can enjoy this panorama. As well as a terrace complete with an alfresco dining area, there's also a balcony on each floor to give you a little more elevation. You could even admire the landscape from the swimming pool if you so wished.

Inside, the design is big on cleansing white shades, whether on the walls, furnishings or minimalist kitchen. As well as being cooling during the summer months, this stark palette makes for a blank canvas against which colourful touches really pop off, like the wave feature wall in one of the bedrooms or the collection of house plants. It would be remiss at this point not to mention that there's a Jacuzzi in the master ensuite, too.

As you can probably guess from the view, it won't take too long to get to the beach. Farangas is a twenty-five-minute walk, for instance. The island's main town of Parikia takes a similar amount of time to reach in the car.

Marble Masterpiece

Even the most discerning guest will be delighted by this villa, positioned on a Paros hillside. With a fabulous selection of amenities, chic design details, and awe-inspiring views across to the Aegean Sea, it doesn't get much better than this. 

You'll love the stylish interior design throughout, with natural textures and a crisp colour palette. There are plenty of comfy spots to escape the heat and flop down with a book, before slipping on your sandals and heading outside. The shimmering infinity pool is perfect for refreshing daytime dips, while the alfresco entertaining area is ideal for cocktails and dinner as the sun goes down. 

With Tipiti Beach just five minutes away by car, it's easy to spend a day on the sand. The clear blue water and white sand make it a dreamy place to soak up the sun. And, if you feel like a little adventure, jump in the car and head inland – you'll find quaint villages, hilltop villages, and local tavernas to give you a real taste of island life.

Postcards from Paros

This Paros villa sits in an elevated spot above Aliki, with panoramic views of the Aegean and Antiparos. Two bedrooms open onto your own private balcony, ideal for morning coffee with a sea view. The pool and outdoor dining area are shared with the neighbouring villa, but the patio stretches the full length of both, so you still have your own space. Inside, the split-level living area gives everyone room to relax and eat together, and there’s a separate guest room for extra space. You’ll want a car, but Aliki’s sandy beach is just five minutes away, plus Paroikia and Naousa are an easy drive when you’re ready to explore.

Paros Sea Serenade

Paros' fertile lands play host to fig trees, olive groves, vineyards, and aromatic herbs – a truly sensory experience alongside visual delights of the landscape and the smell of sea air. While organic beauty is all around, there are also manmade wonders dotted about the island. In the northeastern seaside town of Ambelas (just a ten-minute walk from a beach of the same name) this modern villa is sure to impress.

Set upon a peaceful hillside, this sprawling home has the typical whitewashed walls and shaded terraces you might expect from a Greek villa. However, it’s far from traditional inside. Perfectly minimalist, its simple white colour scheme and understated furniture allow the colourful sea views to really sing. You can access terraces and courtyards directly from each bright bedroom, making the outdoor space the real heart of the home.

Take a dip in your infinity pool before mixing cocktails to sip on the sun loungers. Or you might want to heat up the barbecue while you set up for dinner beneath the pergola. Solar panels power the magical lighting that illuminates the entire villa by night – as if you needed an excuse to pop a bottle of champagne and sit under the stars on a balmy evening.

Reflect & Illuminate

One of the more modest villas in our collection, this home's excellent location meant that we felt compelled to include it. As you look out at the sparkling Aegean Sea while tending to the barbecue on the terrace or make the sixty-second stroll down to Farangas Beach, you might be inclined to think we made the right choice.

That's not to say the home itself is a compromise in any way. The architecture is traditionally Cycladic in influence, with arched doorways, exposed stonework and wooden ceiling beams. Some of the furnishings are in keeping with this aesthetic, like the weathered coffee table and mirror frame, but there are others, such as the mid-century-inspired chairs in the living room, that add a little more contemporary flair.

As well as the beach almost literally on your doorstep, there are restaurants and a few more seaside spots in the next village over of Aliki, around five minutes' drive away. The island's main town of Parikia takes just under twenty minutes to reach in the car, too.

Morning Swim

This west-facing property is gorgeous at all times of day, but it's particularly impressive at sunset. With plenty of space for a large group, an awe-inspiring location, and a range of fabulous facilities, you'll fall in love with this special spot in no time at all.  

Step inside, and you'll find a light and airy space that's cloaked in neutral shades with the occasional hint of blue, reminding you of the waterside location. The white-washed exterior and painted wooden shutters are a charming nod to the area's traditional architecture, while the coastal views are second-to-none. Sit on the balcony with a coffee and admire the vistas, before plunging into the infinity pool for a better look. And, as evening rolls around, you can serve up a delicious meal freshly grilled on the barbeque – don't forget the chilled white wine. 

The home has direct access to the local beach, where you can take a dip in the sparkling waters. The island's main town, Parikia, is just a fifteen-minute drive away, and there you'll find pretty cobbled streets, tiny churches, and little boutiques – it's one of the most typical Cycladic settlements. When you get hungry, head to one of the tavernas to enjoy some of the local seafood, freshly landed at the port that very day. 

Sunset on the Island

Occupying a prime position in the south of Paros, a stone's throw from the sheltered bay at Faragas and a couple of kilometres from the beautiful coastal village of Aliki, this luxurious villa offers a perfect getaway for large families and getaways with groups of friends. 

On entering the villa, you'll be greeted by a spacious living room with comfy sofas set around a fireplace, an informal dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of counter space familyping familial feasts. In addition, four en-suite bedrooms guarantee a great night's sleep, as well as some privacy when you want some space to yourself. All offer direct access to one of three outdoor areas, so there'll be no need to draw straws.

We couldn't fail to be impressed by the outdoor kitchen and barbecue area, which is tailor-made for sociable evenings that continue until well after the sun has sunk over the Aegean. Not to mention the lounge area with sea views, which is a flawless spot to while away a day beneath cloudless Cycladic skies.

With the mercury rising, you might want to head down to the beach club on Faragas Beach, where you can hire sun loungers for the day, enjoy cooling dips in the crystal-clear waters and tuck into sumptuous seafood. Alternatively, drive 15km into the island's capital of Parikia, crisscrossed by winding cobbled lanes and dotted with quaint shops, traditional restaurants and the 13th-century Frankish Castle.

Nymphs & Shepherds

This stunning Cycladic villa on the Aegean Sea offers more than just a luxurious stay. Wake up each morning to panoramic views of the turquoise sea and nearby islands. Relax on the sun beds by your private infinity pool or cook up an array of Greek dishes on the barbeque. Inside, the living and dining area provide uninterrupted sea views, while the fully equipped kitchen is perfect for whipping up meals with local ingredients. The designs are on the simpler side, though with three bedrooms accommodating up to seven guests (speak to your host for a seventh bed) and a daily housekeeping service, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ready for the beach? Hop in the car to Piso Aliki or Voutakos – both are a short drive away.

Shoreside Mirage

If sea views are what you're after, this contemporary villa is certainly up to the task. Admiring the Aegean will be effortless here, whether you're swimming in the private pool or dining alfresco on the terrace. The interior is sleek and minimal, although the white-washed rooms lack charm. That aside, with en-suite bedrooms and an open-plan living area, groups will have more than enough space to unwind. Location-wise, the small and secluded Makria Myti Beach is only a five-minute walk away. Further afield – about ten minutes on foot – is the fishing village of Aliki, home to tavernas, shops and eateries aplenty.

The Grecian Grove

Perched on a Paros hillside overlooking the Aegean Sea, this property has a rather spectacular location. It's composed of two villas with a fabulous shared outside space, meaning there's plenty of room for all your guests to enjoy the serene setting. 

The interiors are simple yet chic, with crisp white walls and wooden furniture creating a tranquil ambiance. If you need to hide from the heat you can take refuge in your bedroom with a good book, or prepare a snack and a cool drink in one of the two kitchens. However, we think you'll want to spend most of your time outside soaking up the Greek sunshine. Take a refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool, before firing up the barbeque for a delicious alfresco feast. As the sun sets over the water, you can admire the breathtaking views and raise a toast to the good life. 

A twelve-minute walk will bring you down to Paralia Aliki, a wonderful cove where you can relax on the sand. Refuel with some fresh seafood at one of the local tavernas, then hop on a boat trip to explore more of the coastline. And, if you take a fifteen-minute drive over to Parikia, the island's capital, you can admire the quaint cobbled streets and iconic Cycladic architecture. 

Secret Charm

When presented with this prime spot in the south of Paros with a glorious view of the sparkling Aegean Sea in the distance, the two civil engineers that designed this villa decided to opt for simplicity. Judging by the finished project, we'd say that was a wise choice.

The building embraces Cycladic architectural trends for clean lines, boxy shapes and pure white walls. The outside space is dominated by the swimming pool, which is surrounded by loungers and a covered terrace area that's home to a traditional stone barbecue. It's perfectly possible to spend your whole day out here, admiring the Mediterranean panorama.

Heading inside, the generously sized rooms are home to contemporary furnishings and a sleek minimalist kitchen, although there are enough quirky touches to keep it from looking too anonymous – the driftwood lampshade above the dining table is particularly eye-catching. On the lower ground floor, there's also a large multi-functional room that holds workout equipment and games.

As you can guess from the coastal view, the nearest beach isn't too far away – Paralia Makra Miti takes only seven minutes to reach on foot. The town of Alyki is a five-minute drive away and the island's main town of Paroikia takes a quarter of an hour.
