Split across two equally charming, traditionally Croatian villas, this home has plenty of room for a big group to spread out. There are also a handful of alfresco dining options; a cluster of comfy seats and coffee tables for a casual set-up, or for the whole group in the dedicated outdoor dining room, covered and with a built-in barbecue. The highlight of the outdoors has to be the swimming pool though, glittering and inviting you for a dip on a sunny day.

The main villa houses four of the bedrooms within its honey-brown walls. Here you’ll find an open-plan living area streaming with sunshine from floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, and a table for group dinners inside. There’s a boho charm to woven lampshades and pops of green add a touch of holiday cheer. The second villa houses two of the bedrooms and has its own open-plan living space with a second kitchen and dining area in striking black and red.

You’re in the heart of the Istrian countryside here, where the hills are filled with hikes to secret waterfalls, rolling vineyards and the crumbling ruins of castles. The Slovenian border is less than twenty minutes drive and if you want to head to the coast, the charming ancient fishing village of Poreč juts out into the sea a forty-minute drive away. Closer to home, explore the idyllic streets of medieval Motovun, a five-minute drive. 

A Daughter of the Moon

This traditional stone villa has been completely modernised and offers stylish and colorful flair. The villa features a beautiful infinity pool with stunning views of the Mediterranean landscape, as well as a whirlpool surrounded by palm trees. The cosy living area boasts exposed brickwork and wooden ceilings, while the fully equipped kitchen has a red colour scheme that matches the chairs. Upstairs, there are three comfortable bedrooms - one of which has a balcony and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub. The other two double bedrooms share another bathroom with bathtub. Additional sleeping arrangements can be made on the sofa bed in the living room. With air conditioning throughout, this villa is perfect for those seeking ideal temperatures at all times. Situated in the centre of a picturesque town called Bale, this modern villa is a stark contrast to its surrounding cobbled streets and old stone architecture. With serene outdoor seating areas, you can watch Istrian sunsets and enjoy countryside views far beyond your tidy garden.

This home made up of two modern villas is ideal for families travelling together. Each one has its own swimming pool, so there's plenty of space to enjoy your time together. You'll be surrounded by the peace and quiet of nature in this countryside home, and there are nearby villages with supermarkets and a handful of local eateries a short drive away. For a day out, hop in the car and drive to the coast or the historic city of Pula in under an hour.
