A luxurious villa on a secluded island with its own private beach – no, you’re not reading a reimagining of Robinson Crusoe, but, like a great novel, this home is certain to stand the test of time. This olive oil estate can be found on a car-free island in the Zadar archipelago, in a truly idyllic setting.

The azure sea twinkles in the sunlight and the soothing aroma of lavender drifts in on a breeze. The infinity pool reaches out towards the sea and the mooring for your boat. Floating on a lilo in the pool, you can spot Kornati National Park in the distance with yachts cruising by – it’s seriously blissful.

Spend your mornings dozing by the pool, soaking up the sun, sea air and serene vibes, before heading out in your boat to explore. Or, for a holiday adventure, set sail with a picnic and cruise to a neighbouring island – Vrgada and Pašman both have beautiful sandy beaches.

The villa has its own private beach too, of course, so you might find that you’re content to spend every second on the grounds.
