You'll also find exercise equipment and a pool table down in the fitness centre, along with a sauna to achieve ultimate relaxation. For added luxury, your host can arrange massages and private excursions for an additional fee. When it comes to exploring the area to its fullest and getting the most out of your stay, we recommend hiring a car.

Breathtaking View Villa

From the private spa with its hot tub and sauna to the rooftop pool, you're spoilt for choice – though when you see the views from the roof terrace, you might be content to spend the day on a lounger with a drink in hand. While the sleek, open-plan living spaces are made for sharing moments with friends or family, it's equally easy to find quiet on the private bedroom terraces. If the sea is tempting you, it's a short walk to the local beach, or drive down the coast to Makarska, where you can catch a ferry to the picturesque island of Brač.

White Walls & Blue Skies

This sprawling estate, composed of three buildings and a luscious outdoor space, is ideal for groups who want to celebrate together in the sun. Located on the dreamy Hvar, it's the perfect place to kiss goodbye to the stresses of everyday life, and embrace island living in all its glory. 

There's plenty of room here for all your guests to spread out and find their own patch of peace and quiet, whether that's a bench in the verdant garden, a lounger by the pool, or a comfy sofa inside. You'll love the traditional touches, from the rustic wooden beams to the exposed stone walls, making you feel at home right away. Go for a swim on hot afternoons, and let the kids run wild on the lawn. And, when evening falls, the whole group can gather at the alfresco dining area to enjoy a freshly grilled feast straight from the summer kitchen. 

Your host will kindly provide bicycles, making it easy to explore this picture-perfect island, from its villages to the pine forests. The sea is less than a kilometre away, if you fancy dipping your toes in the water or kayaking at sunset. Those who prefer a bigger beach can stroll through the woods to arrive at Soline, which is particularly popular with families. And, don't forget to visit Vrboska – just five kilometres away, it's a historic spot with beautiful bridges stretching across the fjord.

Brela itself is known for its crystal-clear waters, and laid-back atmosphere, with a scenic seaside promenade, shops and restaurants all within easy reach.

Brela Bliss

Rigadora

This luxurious Croatian villa is full of rooftop highlights. It's up here that you'll find the infinity pool and several of the balconies and seating areas. On a lower balcony, you'll find the barbecue grill and more seating, perfect for alfresco dinners with the stunning sea views. Inside, there's a spa room with a hot tub and sauna. Each bedroom comes with a luxurious ensuite bathroom and opens up onto its own little outdoor terrace. When you've had your fix of relaxation, head out to find the beach and local restaurants a short walk away. Or you can visit the charming towns of Omis, Makarska and even Split – all under an hour's drive away. 

The Courtyard of Roses

Calling all those in thrall to the sea – this stone villa will have you falling head over heels. Not only is it just 150 metres from the nearest beach on Brač's southern coastline, but there's a glorious view of the Adriatic Sea from the terrace, which you can take in while enjoying a dip in the swimming pool or an alfresco meal on the verandah. The interior design doesn't attempt to compete with these stunning surroundings – a wise decision, we feel – but the home has been put together well nevertheless and you won't be disappointed when you eventually have to head inside.

The Island Life

A stay in this home brings you endless sea views and a private infinity pool. You can spend slow days lounging on the terrace, cooking on the barbecue and savouring drinks as the sun goes down. There are more incredible views from the rooms and the main bedroom is a special highlight with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. And when you feel like adventuring further afield, it’s possible to walk to the nearest beach, restaurants, cafes and shops in Hvar. Plus, it’s a great base for exploring this beautiful stretch of coastline with Jelsa and Split both within driving distance. 

Shine like the Moon

Our favourite thing about this sleek, modern villa is the view from the swimming pool. Gazing out over the infinity edge, you can see a handful of green islands floating in the sparkling Adriatic Sea. The big terrace out the front is also home to sun loungers, a dining spot and a glorious sunken Jacuzzi. 

The villa itself feels as though glass boxes have been stacked on top of each other, taking full advantage of that fabulous sea view. Slide open the wall-sized glass doors in the living room to melt the barrier between indoors and outdoors and watch the boats drift by from the comfort of the leather sofas. The huge, dine-in kitchen area is more than big enough to handle the bustle of group breakfasts and the whole open-plan area is bathed in sunlight during the day.

Those that want to keep on top of their fitness schedule can make use of the home’s private gym, and soothe sore muscles in the sauna after. Bedrooms are crisp white and blue, made bright by walls of windows. And the main bedroom has its own private balcony.

Location-wise, you’re on the edge of Hvar Town, a 500-metre walk from the centre where harbourside bars and restaurants await.

Collecting Pomegranates 

This modern villa was designed for relaxation. There’s a private pool and a terrace with a hot tub, while inside there’s a sauna to unwind in. This is a great place to spend time with family and friends. We love the main bedroom with its balcony too. Location-wise, the address is excellent. Explore the nearby historic town of Šibenik or go on an adventure to the Krka and Kornati National Park. With the ferry port of Vodice a short drive away, you can also visit Trogir and Split. And the local beach is only 500 metres away – visit it on foot or with the bicycles provided.

Adriatic Sun

Sea views steal the show at this Hvar island villa, set just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Whether you’re dining on the terrace or lounging beside the lagoon-style pool, the outlook is equally impressive. A great option for families or couples sharing, each bedroom comes with its own en-suite, while a sofa bed in the living area adds flexibility. Set in a peaceful, rural spot, you’ll need a car to get out and about. Make a beeline for nearby Stari Grad, or a little further glitzy Hvar Town (a half-hour drive) – you’ll be in good company.
