This dreamy holiday home sits on the coast between Split and Makarska. It’s in a small village, Ruskamen, just outside of popular Omiš. There are beaches galore – we like Plaža Artina and Stanići Beach – as well as plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. This is an excellent spot for a relaxing holiday – you’re close to attractions and amenities while maintaining a soothing distance from the tourist crowds.

Sadly, the garden doesn't show off the vistas, but with a private pool, alfresco dining area and children's playground, you'll still be set to worship the Croatian rays. And while the interior isn't nearly as impressive as the panoramas, it's comfortable nonetheless – plus the location is spot-on, walking distance from Pisak beach and village, and only a thirty-minute drive from magical Makarska.

Brodarica beach is a fourteen-minute walk away and is one of many on this stretch of the coast. In the evening, fire up the barbecue and enjoy feasts on the terrace while the sun is setting. 

After a few days spent sunbathing, swimming and sipping wine, you might be rested enough to explore further afield. Šibenik is a beautiful city, one of the oldest on the Adriatic – it’s just eleven minutes away by car. Meander the narrow streets and admire the cathedral – it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
