This Croatian villa is all about the setting. It’s right on the coast of Brač, with sea views from the heated pool and jacuzzi. Postira’s harbour, restaurants and shops are just a short walk away. Inside lacks a bit of warmth and charm, but you'll have everything you need to feel at home. As for location, you'll find a beach, supermarket, and restaurant within walking distance.

This is a beautiful single-family house located 2.4 km from the center of Supetar, in a secluded, quiet, and sunny position at the seaside with its own private beach. The property has a 1,500 m2 fenced garden with a wildlife garden and an angular heated swimming pool (10 x 4 m, depth 150 cm) with an internal staircase. Guests can enjoy an outdoor shower, hot tub, terrace (100 m2), and barbecue (swing, sandbox). There are seven bicycles available for guests to use and a trampoline and washing machine in the house. The unit consists of two separate houses rented as one unit. This Brac island escape had us on that magnificent infinity pool and sweeping sea views alone. And that was before we'd even clapped eyes on the countless sun-kissed terraces and private mooring to take a dip in the azure blue sea.

Our favourite thing about this sleek, modern villa is the view from the swimming pool. Gazing out over the infinity edge, you can see a handful of green islands floating in the sparkling Adriatic Sea. The big terrace out the front is also home to sun loungers, a dining spot and a glorious sunken Jacuzzi. 

The villa itself feels as though glass boxes have been stacked on top of each other, taking full advantage of that fabulous sea view. Slide open the wall-sized glass doors in the living room to melt the barrier between indoors and outdoors and watch the boats drift by from the comfort of the leather sofas. The huge, dine-in kitchen area is more than big enough to handle the bustle of group breakfasts and the whole open-plan area is bathed in sunlight during the day.

Those that want to keep on top of their fitness schedule can make use of the home’s private gym, and soothe sore muscles in the sauna after. Bedrooms are crisp white and blue, made bright by walls of windows. And the main bedroom has its own private balcony.

Location-wise, you’re on the edge of Hvar Town, a 500-metre walk from the centre where harbourside bars and restaurants await.

It's just a stone's throw away from the beach and a short drive from the historic port village of Milna, where you can find restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. Regular ferries to Makarska and Split on mainland Croatia are also available from here, making it perfect for day trips. Although the road leading up to the villa is a little rocky, we suggest hiring a car during your stay – keep in mind that low cars and sports cars are a little risky with the terrain. Inside, the space is minimal but offers all you need for your stay, including a kids' playroom, a ping pong table, a barbecue area, and a pristine pool.
