Inside, it’s sleek and whitewashed with a convivial open-plan living space, perfect for spending quality time together while the appointed chef of your group chops, slices and dices in the fully-equipped kitchen. If some pampering is on the cards, retreat to the private sauna before sitting down in front of a blockbuster in the media room. 

Spend warm afternoons out in the garden – lie back on a lounger and listen to the waves gently lap the shore or splash about with your loved ones in the glittering pool. Should you fancy exploring a little, the picturesque Žirje Beach is a fifteen-minute drive away. Plus, Sumartin, a fisherman’s village that is a quiet idyll even in the peak period of the summer season, is only five minutes from your door. 

As the day draws to a close, head back to your pad for homemade pizzas paired with wine from the on-site cellar. And when the sun starts to set, make a beeline for the hot tub – we think it’s an experience best enjoyed with a glass of bubbles in hand.

Dream Operator

This modern and beautiful villa is located in Gornji Proložac, just 6 km from Imotski. The two-story villa was built in 2019 and sits on a private property that is 1,370 m² and fenced. Guests can enjoy a heated swimming pool with an internal staircase and salt-electrolysis pool-cleaning system, a paddling pool, hot tub, and outdoor shower. There is also a pool house with a kitchen and dining table, satellite TV, fridge, WC, and cooking stove. A barbecue and children's playground with a slide and swing are also available for guests to use. The villa has internet access, storage room for bicycles, washing machine, fitness equipment, darts, playstation (all included in the price), safe, iron, children's high chair, baby cot, and hair dryer. The villa has six rooms beautifully furnished rooms that can accommodate up to twelve guests.

Rijeka & the Black Sea

The sweeping sea vistas from this villa’s terraces and pool really need to be seen to be believed. On a clear day, your gaze stretches all the way to Brač and Hvar – and just wait until you catch sight of your first sunset. Inside, the home’s united interiors are everything you want your home-from-home to be, including two equally spacious ensuite bedrooms with sea views – so no one needs to draw the short straw here. Set in the heart of Dalmatia, the villa is just a short drive from the lively seaside town of Podgora for dinner out. Meanwhile, day trips to the Makarska Riviera, the Biokovo Mountains, or Split are all easily within reach.

The Sea's Throne

With enticing views of the Adriatic, you can understand why this villa captured our attention. The best spot for waterfront gazing is the balcony – a glass of wine, optional – but even the kitchen window catches a glimpse of the rolling waves. That sure makes washing up all the more exciting. Sadly, the garden doesn't show off the vistas, but with a private pool, alfresco dining area and children's playground, you'll still be set to worship the Croatian rays. And while the interior isn't nearly as impressive as the panoramas, it's comfortable nonetheless – plus the location is spot-on, walking distance from Pisak beach and village, and only a thirty-minute drive from magical Makarska.

Adriatic Serenade

With a beautiful setting in a quiet residential area, this home is ideal for families seeking rest and relaxation. It’s on the Dalmatian coast just a short drive from the vibrant town of Makarska. There are also sandy beaches nearby, which is unusual for Croatia where the beaches are normally pebbly. From the villa you can admire stunning sea and mountain views from the private pool and from the terrace. The decor is simple and modern, and the villa is comfortable – though at full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed. 

Sparkling Sea

Our favourite thing about this sleek, modern villa is the view from the swimming pool. Gazing out over the infinity edge, you can see a handful of green islands floating in the sparkling Adriatic Sea. The big terrace out the front is also home to sun loungers, a dining spot and a glorious sunken Jacuzzi. 

The villa itself feels as though glass boxes have been stacked on top of each other, taking full advantage of that fabulous sea view. Slide open the wall-sized glass doors in the living room to melt the barrier between indoors and outdoors and watch the boats drift by from the comfort of the leather sofas. The huge, dine-in kitchen area is more than big enough to handle the bustle of group breakfasts and the whole open-plan area is bathed in sunlight during the day.

Those that want to keep on top of their fitness schedule can make use of the home’s private gym, and soothe sore muscles in the sauna after. Bedrooms are crisp white and blue, made bright by walls of windows. And the main bedroom has its own private balcony.

Location-wise, you’re on the edge of Hvar Town, a 500-metre walk from the centre where harbourside bars and restaurants await.

Collecting Pomegranates 

Pull up your boat and settle in – this villa is perched right on the edge of the sea. Nestled in the charming town of Sumartin on the unspoilt island of Brac, you’ll wake to views of azure waters and forested shores. Inside, bright and breezy interiors blend modern design with comfort, while a private sauna and fitness room add a touch of indulgence. Outside, the terrace steals the show, with an infinity pool, sun loungers, and alfresco dining spots. And best of all, you’re strolling distance from tavernas and shops, with the ferry port just 2 kilometres away for island-hopping adventures.

Edge of the Blue

This home opens its doors to beautiful mountain views, a private pool and a wonderful sense of peace. The rooms might be basic, but we think most of your time will be spent outdoors relaxing in the garden or exploring the region. Exercise enthusiasts will appreciate the mountain bikes (four are provided) as well as the close proximity to the nearby sports facilities – just a two-minute walk away. It’s also just a short drive to the nearest shops and amenities in Zagvozd (14 kilometres way), while Baška Voda beach is just 24 kilometres away. 

The Hillside Hideout

This dazzling villa located in the delightful village of Mimice on the Damaltian Coast is home to astounding views from sunup to sundown and has been designed to take full advantage of them. Here, we don’t embellish the facts, so when we tell you The Sulidae is just metres from the gentle lapping of the waves, you can believe us. Skip just a few stone steps down from the terrace and you’re getting your feet wet in the glittering waters of the Adriatic, or climbing onto your private boat to explore the islands and surrounding coastline. The home definitely makes the most of the view, with numerous balconies facing out over the sea, but that doesn’t mean the interiors are an afterthought; the beachy and contemporary aesthetic is a continuation of the natural landscape of the bay and calls to mind the traditional homes on this Croatian island. Here, you’ll feel simultaneously awestruck and right at home. 


The Sulidae

The little village of Sumartin is small enough to feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle of cities while keeping you well stocked with local goods from the nearby shops. It's also a ferry port that will take you to Makarska, so don't be afraid to venture out and explore beyond the island. Sumartina is an opulent villa, built as a one-stop-shop that you won't have to leave for anything but sightseeing. The views, the pool, the sauna, the wine cellar, plenty of sunshine and a private gym are all here to provide a well-rounded experience that will keep a large family (or a group of friends) occupied. If you're lucky enough to be coming with your own yacht, you'll even have access to the private mooring — the rest can rent a kayak or a paddle-board.
