Divided into three different buildings, this traditional Trullo offers a one-of-a-kind experience to a large family or group of friends looking to soak up a truly authentic Italian experience. 

From the moment you arrive here, you'll notice the blissfully sweet nuances of the Mediterranean fragranced air as fruit trees, grape vines, and olive groves bring life to the garden. With your own private swimming pool, grassy lawns and an abundance of fauna and flora – relaxing in the hammock, hanging tent swing or at the poolside lounge area couldn't be more serene. 

Inside the main house, you'll find ample space to keep the kids entertained with a ping pong table and SKY TV. Two of the bedrooms are situated in a separate annexe and feature their own kitchen and living room – a wonderful space for teenagers to have some independence in their own space should they please. 

Set in the countryside of Ceglie Messapica, a medieval village of gastronomic excellence, you'll be located just a twenty-minute drive away from the centre of Ostuni and even closer to the waterfront of the Adriatic Sea. 



I Heard it Through the Grapevine

Exploring Puglia’s prettiest towns couldn’t be easier from this cluster of traditional trulli. You’re just minutes from Ceglie Messapica’s old town and restaurants, and a short drive from postcard-perfect spots like Ostuni and Locorotondo. The trulli might be simple inside, but the charm of their rustic stone walls, archways, and unique shape is undeniable. Outside is where the real magic happens, though – lazy afternoons by the pool, long lunches in the outdoor kitchen, and plenty of space for everyone to stretch out on the daybeds and soak up the southern sunshine.


Charming Stone

This beautiful trullo home gives you an authentic taste of southern Italy. It’s just outside of central Ceglie Messapica, within driving distance of Ostuni, and only 20 kilometres from pretty beaches. You may not want to explore too far, though, as this delightful home has everything you might need – though there are only two bedrooms, so with six guests, two will sleep in the living space. Spend your days swimming in the pool, sunbathing amid olive trees, and relaxing in the cool stone interior of the traditional trullo. As the sun sets, start cooking outside – is there anything better than dining under the stars? 

Shaded Olive

Set less than one hundred metres from Ceglie Messapica's bustling pedestrianised hub and just an easy drive from the coast and Ostuni, the location of this apartment is spot-on. While the period home's vaulted ceilings and exposed stonework are impressive, there are a few compromises to make. Expect a small kitchenette that's better suited to lighter bites rather than large slap-up meals, and there's no outdoor space to speak of. But for a bolthole this characterful, we can forgive that.

Olives & Honey

Set within terraced gardens and surrounded by olive and fruit trees, this picturesque Puglian home is perfect for small groups of friends or family seeking the ultimate Itria Valley experience. Comprising carefully restored Trulli – mid-19th-century dry-stone structures with conical roofs – along with contemporary architectural additions, this elegant and enchanting home has it all. 

Owned by an interior design enthusiast, this incredible home features a characterful kitchen and dining room complete with terrifically tiled walls and floors and wonderfully worn wooden furniture. Objets d’art and antique Italian lamps add a sense of both style and substance.

You’ll love flinging open the doors of the kitchen-diner and taking your morning coffee out on the veranda, which overlooks the lawn and olive trees beyond. While away hours wandering about the landscaped gardens or reading and reclining on the vibrant green outdoor sofa before cooling off with a refreshing dip in your private, outdoor pool.  Rinse off under the outdoor shower and peruse the kitchen garden’s seasonal offerings before spending the afternoon grilling a feast of fresh meat or fish in the stone barbecue area, and dining alfresco on the covered terrace. Enjoy relaxing with your loved one on the veranda in the Puglian sunshine while sipping wine from the vineyards of Salento. At the day’s end, savour a little me time in the relaxation corner before climbing up into your cosy raised bed in the alcove.

If you fancy a little light exploration, the whitewashed hilltop town of Ostuni – also known as La Città Bianca – home of historic lanes, steep alleyways and colourful trattorias, is just over a ten-minute drive away. Equally nearby is food lovers’ paradise, Ceglie Messapica. Well-known towns such as Locorotondo, Martina Franca and famous Alberobello, with its 14th-century Trulli, are also within easy reach, while the Adriatic coast can be reached in twenty minutes.


Among the Olive & Orange Trees

If you’re seeking an authentic stay in Italy, this traditional trullo in the heart of the Itria Valley will be hard to beat. With a private infinity pool, alfresco dining area, and pizza oven, outdoor living is easy here. Inside, the authentic decor won’t be to everyone’s tastes, but we love the stone floors and archways. And if you’re travelling in a group, one of the bedrooms has independent access and its own bathroom, so you can enjoy your own space when you want it. When it comes to exploring, you’ll find a choice of white-washed villages within driving distance, and your host can help arrange local tours and wine-tasting sessions.

White-washed Beauty

This villa in Ostuni is all about the panoramic sea views of the Ostuni coastline — perfect for gazing at sunsets every evening. It's set on the ground floor of a larger villa, but the pool and garden are for your exclusive use. Inside, the contemporary, minimalist design features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that looks straight out to the pool and the view. Ostuni's local restaurants are just a few minutes’ walk away, and if you’ve got a car, Bari and Lecce are close for easy day trips.

Ostuni Sunsets

This beautifully traditional trullo in the Italian countryside is the ideal spot for a romantic getaway. Though it can sleep up to four, suitable for a small family, or even a solo traveller, we think it's perfect for two. Especially with the outdoor seating optimised for candlelit alfresco meals or lazy morning coffees with enchanting Ostuni views. The swimming pool and sprawling garden are a nice bonus, too. Idyllic and cosy, and only minutes away from the whitewashed old town of Ostuni. Torre Beach Pozzelle is also within driving distance.  

The Art of Poetry

It's not a trip to Puglia without a stay in a trullo house, and this is a gorgeous one. Located in the rolling countryside, within easy reach of some of the area's historic towns, it's a great place to begin your Italian adventures. 

The traditional stone building has plenty of original touches – you'll love the conical roofs and decorative fireplace that provides a rustic charm. When you get hungry, you can head to the kitchen and cook up your favourite pasta dishes using fresh local ingredients. And, there's no better place to serve up your culinary creations than outside on the patio, as you breathe in the fresh air and admire the lush greenery surrounding you. 

When you fancy a day trip, there are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area. The magnificent white city of Ostuni is around twenty minutes away by car, where you can stroll through the labyrinthine old quarter. The hilltop town of Martina Franca is around twenty-five minutes away, and if you fancy a day at the beach then you can drive to the coast in just over half an hour. 

White Crocuses

Set within 5000 square metres of grounds, this place is an Italian paradise. Centuries-old oaks cast welcome shade over the gazebo with its dining area, as well as the lawn bordering the private swimming pool. Dotted around the gardens, you’ll find fruit trees such as apricots, figs, medlars and apples. Speaking of food, there’s also an outdoor kitchen, complete with a wood-burning oven and barbecue. Inside, there’s a rustic charm to the interiors and there are several seating areas. If you manage to explore all of the land here before you leave, then you may have time for some excursions. The town of Ceglie Messapica is 1 kilometre away, while Ostuni is just over 10 kilometres from this home.

The Century Oak

A local team of architects and designers have painstaking brought this traditional Trulli-style home back to life. From the fairytale cone roofs of the old section to the thick white walls of local stone and lime. Now, it’s a relaxing retreat for a small group with a glorious infinity pool at its core. Lined with loungers, this is the perfect place to cool off from the hot southern sun. There’s dining for the whole group out here too, in the full outdoor kitchen. You can admire the silhouettes of ancient olive trees as the sun sets over the countryside.    

Inside, every original detail and modern flourish feels like it has been carefully considered, from hand-picked crockery to candle-filled stone fireplaces. The kitchen is all sleek modernity, and the bedrooms are decked out in boho style with crisp white walls and straw-coloured accents.

You’re in the heart of the blissfully quiet Puglian countryside here, but a twelve-minute drive takes you to the buzzing old town of Ceglie Messapica, where ancient church bells chime on a Sunday and cafés spill out into squares. The UNESCO town of Ostuni is just a twenty-minute drive too – perfect for a day trip.
