The apartment is in a historic building, so there’s no lift, but it benefits from typical Florentine design – think cotto floors and wood accents. It’s a romantic base, from which you can easily stroll to Giardino di Boboli and the Ponte Vecchio. 

The Palazzo Next Door

This charming home is perfectly positioned in Florence, a short walk from Santa Maria Novella station and within easy reach of the magnificent Duomo. This apartment is ideal for a group of friends or a large family wanting a comfortable base – it can accommodate up to eleven guests, with some sleeping on the mezzanine level or on a sofa bed. The apartment is bright, warm, and welcoming, with tall windows and simple, fuss-free decor. It’s the kind of home-from-home you long for in a bustling city like Florence. 

The Flower of Florence

Immerse yourself in Florence’s rich history and culture at this elegant apartment located in the historic Spinelli Palace. We love the elegant living space with its grand fireplace (two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed in this room at full occupancy). One of the bedrooms has a four-poster bed to relax in too. Just a short stroll away, you'll find iconic landmarks like the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo. Even nearer, the magnificent Piazza Santa Croce and the Basilica are right on your doorstep. 

Florentine Renaissance

Centuries-old charm meets contemporary indulgence in this glamorous hideaway in the heart of Florence. Gaze out from your private balcony at the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, unwind in the bathroom jacuzzi, or retreat to the master suite for a sauna session in total privacy. The interiors blend bold design, ornate detailing, and rich Italian elegance. Think Carrara marble, antique art and a modern fireplace for cosy evenings in. You're steps from Florence’s iconic sights but cocooned in quiet comfort, thanks to soundproofed windows and luxurious bedding. With a private chef, wine tours, and transfers on offer, every moment feels effortless.

Skyline Vista

Immerse yourself in all that the magical city of Florence has to offer with a stay at this charming apartment situated right at the heart of the old town, just steps away from the iconic Duomo. Located in a historic building, this place retains all of its vintage charm while at the same time boasting modern comforts and luxury to make your holiday extra restful. 

Enter through the front door to be greeted by a bright living space, with floods of natural light gently streaming in through the large windows. We love the high ceilings with their white wooden beams – what could be more authentically Florentine than that? You’ll find plenty of room to kick off your shoes and relax on the comfy sofa which at night can be pulled out to serve as a double bed. The kitchenette may be small in scale but it has all you need to whip up a quick and delicious supper or breakfast, which you can then enjoy with your loved ones at the elegant dining table by the window. 

When you also consider the plush and luxurious bedrooms, with their soft beds and lovely pale tones, as well as the spa-like ambience of the modern bathrooms, you know that you have all you need to have a relaxing stay. 

Start your day with a fresh cup of Italian coffee before heading out to discover the many gems of Florence – aside from the proximity to the Duomo you’ll also be a three-minute walk away from the Bargello Museum, which houses many of Michelangelo's masterpieces. 

The Green Dome 

Just four minutes from the Ponte Vecchio on foot, this home's location alone is enough reason for us to praise it to the skies. It sits along a steep, cobbled street in the heart of Florence's historic centre and boasts proximity to all the main sights on foot. You couldn't ask for a better location, less than a twenty-minute stroll from the Duomo and the famous Piazzale Michelangelo viewpoint and even closer to the Pitti Palace's museums and gardens. 

The interior is warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between authentic charm and contemporary comfort. We especially love the open-plan living space, primed for relaxation with a compact yet equipped kitchen, a large dining table, a cosy lounge and a majestic fireplace. Perched on the second floor, it feels delightfully peaceful despite its central location and offers beautiful views from its large shuttered windows. After a day of adventure, enjoy a glass of wine while admiring your scenic surroundings before slipping out for your reservation at one of the many eateries nearby.

Vecchio Vintage

Looking for a Florence bolthole that's as unique as it is central? This Santa Croce district apartment, set in a fresco-adorned palazzo and within walking distance of all the must-see sights, is spot-on. With ceilings soaring nearly six metres high in the open-plan living and bedroom space, and a mezzanine level providing access to an additional single bedroom and bathroom, the layout is a tad quirky. But we think this only adds to the charm. It’s worth noting that the kitchen is on the small side and better suited to lighter meals and breakfast. But with so many traditional Florentine restaurants just around the corner in the Santa Croce Piazza, we suspect you’ll be eating out alot. 

The Frescoed Palace

Tucked away just north of the city centre, this recently renovated apartment gives you a quieter base that’s still well connected – the tram and Piazza della Libertà are around the corner, and you can walk to the Duomo in about 20 minutes. Inside, it’s a comfortable and practical space with two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a compact but well-equipped kitchen for those itching to cook an Italian feast. Look out over the rooftops of Florence on the two small balconies off the living room, or enjoy your morning coffee before you set out to see the sights.

Twin Balconies

Bright and homely, this charming Florentine apartment is perfect for couples or a small family on a getaway in the city. There’s no lift here, as expected in a beautiful Liberty-style building, so you’ll need to climb stairs to reach the home. Still, it’s a small price to pay for the location. We love the second bedroom, accessed via a spiral staircase and oozing tranquillity – just watch your head on those sloping ceilings and beams. And when you’re ready to explore, many major sightseeing spots are within walking distance, while the Belfiore tram stop is nearby for jaunts further afield. 

The Florence Experience

When we came across this quaint apartment, we did a double-take. While it may be a bit old-school in style, it has lots of charm for a city stay. Set on the third floor, with a private balcony overlooking the rooftops of Florence, there's no lack of character here – that being said, it may feel a little dated in parts. And, while the bedrooms are semi-open, limiting privacy, its location in the historic district makes it a good choice for those keen to be close to the action. 

Window to Florence

In an enviable location directly on the River Arno, this home offers ample space and stunning views. We think it’d be very well suited to groups of friends or families, as it has a great social space but individual guests can still have their privacy. You can imagine the main area being used for hosting dinner parties, or just for relaxing on the sofa after a day of exploring. We thought the bathrooms were a little on the small side, but in a home this beautiful in this location, we can look past that.
