This collection of three apartments in Como is perfect for a group of friends or a large family travelling together. Four guests can be accommodated in each apartment, with two guests on a sofa bed in the living space. There’s a kitchen in each apartment, though with such a central location, you’ll have plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. The shores of Lake Como are a ten-minute walk away, as is the cathedral. Your host can arrange all kinds of luxurious extras to make your stay all the more memorable, from boat charters to personal shoppers. 

Como Together

Nestled in the verdant hills overlooking Lake Garda, this modern three-bedroom home is the ideal getaway for those seeking a relaxing getaway next to one of Italy’s most spectacular natural features. Set across three storeys, there’s plenty of space to move around - whether you’re lounging on the sofa that looks directly out to the lake, entertaining around the dining table, or whipping up a classic Italian meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. The highlight, though, is that view – visible from all the bedrooms, and best-experienced on the top-floor terrace. Head into nearby Toscolano Maderno when you’re ready for some lakeside exploring.

Located just a five-minute drive from Stresa, with an array of shops and restaurants, you'll also be just a few minutes by car from the local golf clubs here.

Halfway between Italy’s Varese and Switzerland’s Lugano, this cosy Cunardo apartment puts you right in the middle of lake country. The interiors are simple and practical – there's no living room, but the bedroom has plenty of space to spread out. Step outside and you’ll find friendly local trattorias and bars that make you feel right at home. And with Switzerland just a half-hour drive away, you can cross the border for lunch and be back in time for an evening aperitivo.

The Rustic Retreat

Situated in a prime location overlooking Lake Como with a backdrop of mountains – the setting couldn’t be more dramatic. There’s an infinity swimming pool and terrace with wonderful views, while inside, the vistas continue to wow. Inside, there’s an open-plan living room and a cosy bar area – perfect for entertaining. And to make sure you have time to relax, a free breakfast is served daily by the private chef. For lunch, you can do some cooking in the stylish kitchen or visit one of the local restaurants a short stroll away.

The Lake Embrace

This charming country home is part of a traditional Italian farmhouse, situated next to the Bogogno Golf Club and less than a 30-minute drive from Malpensa Airport. The property features 11 independent serviced apartments, which have undergone a sustainable restoration project completed in 2022. The apartment for rent is located on the ground floor, measuring approximately 60 sqm and includes a spacious living room with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy the beautiful garden view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and relax at the table and chairs under the wisteria-draped pergola. Situated just a stone's throw away from beautiful Lake Como, this apartment is ideal for a relaxing break. We love the barrel-vaulted ceilings here and there’s a side view of the lake and a bright living room which sleeps guests three and four on a sofa bed. The location is great for strolls along the shore and the funicular to the village of Brunate is nearby, making exploring easy. This home is also very close to the centre of Como with its shops, restaurants, and landmarks.

The location is fantastic too – situated on the Western coast of Lake Como, it has easy access to gems such as Varenna.

No doubt you’ll be inspired to take your morning coffee outside and into the gardens. With views across Lake Maggiore and the famous Borromeo Islands, it’s easy to get lost in the magic of this setting. Spend slow days by the swimming pool, reading beneath the trees and enjoying long lunches on the terrace. 

It’s only a short walk from this home onto the main boulevard of the village where you can pick up any supplies. Or wind your way around the lake, stopping in a local cafe to admire the views.

Hikers and cyclists will appreciate the UNESCO heritage walkway, which is on the doorstep. And for day trips, the bustling spa town of Acqui Terme is a fifteen-minute drive away.

Gourmet's Delight

An idyllic retreat in the Italian Lakes, this stunning villa blends rustic charm with modern luxury. Your host can even arrange access to a boat and a Fiat 500 so you can explore the lake beaches and restaurants of nearby Lugano and Porlezza.

Housed in an elegant building in the Piazza Duomo in Desenzano del Garda, this home has a fabulous setting. The apartment is located just 50 metres from Lake Garda and the many shops, bars and restaurants. It's just 150 metres from one of the lake's sandy beaches too.

Back at this apartment, relax on the balcony off the main bedroom with a glass of wine. Inside, we love the feature ornate fireplace in the open plan living space, but the real highlight here is the beautiful view of the city's cathedral from the main bedroom window (this room also has vibrant botanical wallpaper).

Later, if you don't fancy eating out, rustle up some risotto con la tinca (rice with fish and chard) in the modern kitchen and enjoy the fruits of your labour at your dining table. After a busy day, get ready for bed in the marble-clad bathroom with its large shower and then get some rest.
