It's a truly rustic scene and you'll be glad to hear that the home itself slots nicely into the landscape. Traditional in style, you'll find high-ceilinged rooms filled with elegant wooden furnishings, antique decorations and floor tiling so shiny you can almost see your reflection in it. However, it's more modern where it matters, particularly the super-sleek bathrooms and equally glossy kitchens.

If you pay a visit during the warmer months, you'll most likely want to spend as many hours out in the open air as possible and that's more than easy to do here. As well as the aforementioned pool, guests also have a large garden at their disposal, plus a barbecue and alfresco table for when dinnertime rolls around.

Lovingly restored, the house has been renovated in a traditional style that pays homage to its humble start as a farmhouse while showcasing the many great attributes it now holds. Spread over three floors, the home also has two separate apartments - one with a double bedroom and living space on the ground floor which can be accessed from both the main building and the dining terrace, and a small second apartment on the top floor with a sofa, two beds and a kitchenette. As vibrantly decorated inside as it is outside, there’s a rustic, cosy feel to this home that we just love with its antique furniture, bright washes of colour on the walls and exposed ceiling beams that create a warm atmosphere to feel right at home in. But it’s the outside where this sunny villa really shines - with several hundred square metres of land surrounding the villa, you’re treated to not only a beautiful, uninterrupted view of Le Marche countryside but also to a well-cared for, mature garden that features lavender, lilac, pink hydrangeas, oleander, roses, and fruit trees of all kinds. Needless to say, there’s plenty of space to spread out here as well as all sorts of peaceful spots to take a nap, read a book or enjoy an evening aperitivo. Within the grounds, you’ve got a sparkling swimming pool on the hillside, overlooking the valley below. While away the days floating on the lilo and drying off on the comfy, beanbag-style loungers. To the side of the house, you’ll find a wooden pergola with greenery creeping up the woodwork where alfresco dining comes courtesy of a wood-fired oven. 

Alternatively, you could opt to cook meals in the sleek, modern kitchen inside and dine in the open-plan living area, surrounded by modern artworks. Bold, textured paintings sit on gallery-white walls and striking sculptures populate the corners of rooms. Perhaps the greatest image, though, is the view of hilltop Asissi from the sliding glass doors in the plush living room.

It’s been lovingly restored from the farmhouse it was, though its charm and character have been left untouched. This home is secluded, in beautiful lush countryside and surrounded by olive, persimmon and pomegranate trees. You can soak in the picture-perfect views from the private swimming pool, the dining room, or even from the bedroom. The flexible sleeping options (double rooms to twin rooms, plus optional sofa beds in the shared open space) make it a great home for family holidays.
