Dating back to the 11th-century, this watchtower is just as striking as its surroundings. Overlooking the Sibillini Mountains, you can admire the sweeping views while soaking in the hot tub or swimming in the pool. There is also an amphitheatre, beautiful gardens and a terrace with a barbecue – perfect for alfresco dining. Inside, the rooms unfold across two apartments and offer a unique sense of character. It’s worth noting there are a number of steps here so this may not be the best option for young children, but it’s the perfect setting for an adults-only escape. From here, you can follow hiking trails straight from the door, take the short drive to Amandola or adventure further afield towards the Adriatic coast.

Set in the Marche region, between the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini mountains, this pet-friendly villa overlooks the Aso valley and sprawling olive groves. The best spot to soak up the views is outside at the infinity swimming pool or the pergola dining area. We think this home works particularly well for those with children, as two bedrooms have a mezzanine – not to mention there's plenty of room outdoors for little ones to let off steam. The hydromassage bathtub offers a sweet spot to enjoy a glass of local Italian wine indoors. It's worth noting that when booked at full capacity, two children will sleep on single sofa beds.

This is a charming country house located on top of a hill surrounded by trees and fields. It's situated in a traffic-calmed area, 3 km from the centre of Collecorvino, offering a peaceful and quiet retreat. The house has a large shared garden with a barbecue for guests to enjoy. The upper ground floor features a large kitchen, 3 double bedrooms each with its own shower/bidet/WC, and an exit to the veranda with one french bed and two double beds. There's also a large terrace of 30 m2 with terrace furniture, balcony furniture, and 4 deck chairs providing guests with beautiful panoramic views of the valley. The property is conveniently located near several towns and cities such as Città S.Angelo and Pescara, which are only 10 km and 15 km away respectively. The sea is just a short distance of 10 km while skiing areas are approximately 40 km away. Please note that the owner lives in the same residence, has a dog, and does not accept any youth groups.

Set in a bright garden, bordered by vineyards and fruit trees, this elegant country house is the perfect base for a holiday in Italy's Marche region. This beautiful home can be found on the Italian coast in a municipality of Ancona known as Sirolo. Whilst small – there are under four-thousand inhabitants – it has been continually praised, and it’s not surprising to see why once you visit. Paying homage to its rich history, it features a restored mediaeval town centre dotted with attractive restaurants and bars that you’ll probably end up frequenting. Once you’ve had lunch with a negroni cocktail, walk to any one of the many beaches to dip your toes into the Adriatic sea. 

Grab tiramisu on your way back home and settle around the dining table to devour it together – don’t forget to make a round of espresso to enjoy afterwards. When you’re done gushing about just how good that was, why not clear the table for a round or two of poker – loser gets the pizza for dinner. As the day winds down, settle into the couch with a good book and simply appreciate the natural warmth of the wooden rafters and exposed brick.

The interior is beautiful, but we imagine you’ll be spending most of your time making the most of the outdoors. Especially when considering the outdoor kitchen, fully equipped for trying your hand at local dishes. Spend days lounging by the saltwater pool, taking a dip to cool off, while soaking in the rural surroundings. And spend evenings beneath the pergola, white curtains gently swaying in the wind, tucking into a fresh barbecue dinner around the dining table. La Casa nei Vigneti is a charming 18th-century farmhouse that has been renovated to its original architectural features with anti-seismic adaptation. The property consists of two structures, the main house and an annex, accommodating up to ten people. The house is set in an estate of about 50 hectares planted with vineyards and olive groves, located between the massifs of the Maiella and Gran Sasso and the Adriatic coast of the famous Trabocchi. The villa features a large open-plan area with vaulted ceilings, a cozy living area with fireplace, billiard room with sitting area, dining room connected to the kitchen with pantry, communicating with the pergola with wood oven. The property also includes a beautiful swimming pool in a panoramic position and a well-kept garden surrounding the house. Guests can enjoy outdoor lunches and dinners under the white wisteria-covered pergola or relax under the majestic oak while contemplating the beautiful hilly landscape. Painted in a cheery bright yellow, we think this villa in the Ancona region will have you smiling before you’ve even unloaded the car. Lovingly restored, the house has been renovated in a traditional style that pays homage to its humble start as a farmhouse while showcasing the many great attributes it now holds. Spread over three floors, the home also has two separate apartments - one with a double bedroom and living space on the ground floor which can be accessed from both the main building and the dining terrace, and a small second apartment on the top floor with a sofa, two beds and a kitchenette. As vibrantly decorated inside as it is outside, there’s a rustic, cosy feel to this home that we just love with its antique furniture, bright washes of colour on the walls and exposed ceiling beams that create a warm atmosphere to feel right at home in. But it’s the outside where this sunny villa really shines - with several hundred square metres of land surrounding the villa, you’re treated to not only a beautiful, uninterrupted view of Le Marche countryside but also to a well-cared for, mature garden that features lavender, lilac, pink hydrangeas, oleander, roses, and fruit trees of all kinds. Needless to say, there’s plenty of space to spread out here as well as all sorts of peaceful spots to take a nap, read a book or enjoy an evening aperitivo. And the pool not only boasts some of the best views on the grounds but is large enough to host a whole family of novelty inflatables and is surrounded by a generous number of sun loungers so no one has to wait their turn to top of their tan.

Lovingly converted from an old monastery into apartments, it's the perfect combination of character features and modern styling. Set on the first floor, you'll have two bright and airy levels with high ceilings, curved windows and plenty of natural wood. Joined by a contemporary staircase and featuring a mezzanine area that's used as a TV snug, it's a spacious home for up to six.

There's an open layout to the living space, where a sleek new kitchen and an antique dining table are the stars of the show, plus a bedroom and bathroom on the lower level and a huge master suite above. We love the ancient vaulted ceiling in this room in particular.

This historic farmhouse is on a quiet road in the Curetta countryside, surrounded by fourteen acres of rolling hilly landscape and gorgeous views.
