With every bedroom being an en-suite, it’s great for sharing with your loved ones, while still maintaining your privacy. Though the house feels a little dated in parts, there’s plenty here to keep you entertained. Outside, the home boast a large garden, a couple of terraces to enjoy alfresco meals on, as well as a private swimming pool with sun loungers. You’ll find the nearest shops and restaurants in the town of Montelparo and several sandy beaches are also within easy reach.

There's also a large terrace of 30 m2 with terrace furniture, balcony furniture, and 4 deck chairs providing guests with beautiful panoramic views of the valley. The property is conveniently located near several towns and cities such as Città S.Angelo and Pescara, which are only 10 km and 15 km away respectively. The sea is just a short distance of 10 km while skiing areas are approximately 40 km away. Please note that the owner lives in the same residence, has a dog, and does not accept any youth groups.

This beautiful home can be found on the Italian coast in a municipality of Ancona known as Sirolo. Whilst small – there are under four-thousand inhabitants – it has been continually praised, and it’s not surprising to see why once you visit. Paying homage to its rich history, it features a restored mediaeval town centre dotted with attractive restaurants and bars that you’ll probably end up frequenting. Once you’ve had lunch with a negroni cocktail, walk to any one of the many beaches to dip your toes into the Adriatic sea. 

Grab tiramisu on your way back home and settle around the dining table to devour it together – don’t forget to make a round of espresso to enjoy afterwards. When you’re done gushing about just how good that was, why not clear the table for a round or two of poker – loser gets the pizza for dinner. As the day winds down, settle into the couch with a good book and simply appreciate the natural warmth of the wooden rafters and exposed brick.

Lovingly restored, the house has been renovated in a traditional style that pays homage to its humble start as a farmhouse while showcasing the many great attributes it now holds. Spread over three floors, the home also has two separate apartments - one with a double bedroom and living space on the ground floor which can be accessed from both the main building and the dining terrace, and a small second apartment on the top floor with a sofa, two beds and a kitchenette. As vibrantly decorated inside as it is outside, there’s a rustic, cosy feel to this home that we just love with its antique furniture, bright washes of colour on the walls and exposed ceiling beams that create a warm atmosphere to feel right at home in. But it’s the outside where this sunny villa really shines - with several hundred square metres of land surrounding the villa, you’re treated to not only a beautiful, uninterrupted view of Le Marche countryside but also to a well-cared for, mature garden that features lavender, lilac, pink hydrangeas, oleander, roses, and fruit trees of all kinds. It’s worth noting there are a number of steps here so this may not be the best option for young children, but it’s the perfect setting for an adults-only escape. From here, you can follow hiking trails straight from the door, take the short drive to Amandola or adventure further afield towards the Adriatic coast.

This dreamy home has stood in this spot in the countryside of Umbria since the 16th century. It’s been lovingly restored from the farmhouse it was, though its charm and character have been left untouched. Strolling through the warm and welcoming villa, you’ll spot chestnut beams and arched doorways as a nod to yesteryear. 

The villa is tucked away in the countryside outside a small village, fifteen minutes from Spoleto. Umbria is known as the Green Heart of Italy, so of course you can count on wonderful rural views – the rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards that surround this home make for a breath-taking backdrop. Sit out on the upper terrace to soak up the sun and revel in the panoramic vista, before strolling to the heated salt-water pool for a dip. The pool looks out over an olive grove, adding to the tranquillity of the setting. 

In the evening, cook on the barbecue and sit out late under the stars. Sip Sagrantino and feel your worries float away on the breeze.

Once an ancient watchtower looking out over the enchanting Tenna Valley, this place dates back to the 11th century. The view of the Sibillini Mountains has hardly changed over the centuries, thanks to the area’s National Park status, but the interior has everything you need for a 21st-century stay. The swimming pool, for example, hanging off the side of the hill and enjoying panoramic views, is certainly an update along with the hot tub tucked into the cliffside. The grounds here are filled with art in nature – orbs suspended from ancient olive trees, a zen garden and steps that circle like an amphitheatre, making way for that stunning mountain view.

Inside, a sense of the building’s history has been retained with the thick stone walls on displace, vaulted ceilings and grand stone fireplaces filled with candles in both living rooms. The main dining table wouldn’t look out of place in a monastery’s refectory and bedrooms come adorned with religious iconography and tapestries that feel like they’ve been transported from the medieval age. The accommodation is split into two apartments inside the tower, each with its own open-plan kitchen, living and dining room. 

When it comes to exploring, trails lead right from your doorstep and snake across the National Park. It’s a seven-minute drive to the little village of Montefortino where you’ll find a handful of bakeries, cafés and restaurants, but it’s really all about escaping it all and connecting with nature here.
